[OOC: The way this works is simple; you get ONE post PER character! Go nuts in your post, let your character cut lose(within the rules of course lol), and have fun! No word min or max word limits, but there’s no end true end to this battle, the thread ends when no one else posts anymore. You can say that your character saw another doing whatever they are doing, but, there’s little reason to interact, because, neither of those characters will post again hehe So, have fun, I’m curious to see what happens here, if you have questions, please PM Sirona or find me on Discord.]
The attack had started suddenly and with very little warning. An army of orcs had appeared on the horizon to the North of the village and had come charging across the Plains. However, the village wasn’t alone. While this unnamed village had been started by folks who had moved away from the city of Adeluna, the orc army had pushed a large group of Boharan Tribespeople into the area only a few hours before the orc arrived. This was all the warning that the village and any of the visitors received before the orcs arrived.
Bianca had been in the village only because they were passing through the area and ended up staying here for the night. Now, with a fight literally on the horizon, Bianca had a chance to get out of the village or stand and fight and help protect it. Weighing the options Bianca had chosen to stand and fight, with the addition of the tribespeople and, what seemed to be a large group of visitors hanging around, the blood mage figured they had a chance to save the village. It was unclear on how large the orc army was, but, they weren’t known to be that bright, and would eventually run if they started taking too many losses.
Now with the fighting started, Bianca was in the thick of it and probably enjoying themselves a little too much.
It didn’t take long for the villagers and tribespeople around Bianca to learn to give them some room. With Bianca large magma scythe spinning around carving up orcs a couple at a time and the fires that they were starting among the orcs, Bianca needed room to work. A couple of orcs charged Bianca and they replied with a shout and a hand thrusted out, and a gout of fire blasted from Bianca’s hand to the orcs. They screeched in pain as they started to burn alive, but in their rage they continued their charge anyway.
Smiling Bianca spun their scythe around in a few quick attacks and a few parts from the orcs fell to the ground, still on fire. From their left an orc came at Bianca and they turned in time to dodge the swinging mace that would have crushed their should if it had connected. When Bianca noticed that this orc already had a heavy gaping wound in its chest, when it got close enough Bianca reached out and grabbed it’s arm for a moment. In that moment Bianca unleashed a hideous blood magic spell, enhancing the damage the orc had already taken in a rebounding affect. The gash, while it had been bad already, now became far deeper and the orc stumbled and fell as it started to bleed out faster.
The fire mage then had just enough time to bring up their scythe and use the middle of the handle to block an incoming sword from an orc. It bellowed in their face and Bianca scowled in reply at it, opening their mouth to scream back, but instead breath out of a cone of fire into the orc’s face. It screamed in pain at the sudden fire and reeled back to try put the fire out, but that was enough time for Bianca to get that big scythe moving and slam the magma blade into the orc’s chest. It was dead instantly and started to fall as Bianca got the scythe’s blade out of it and spun it around.
There was a moment where no orc was coming at them, so Bianca looked around their immediate area to see how the others fighters were making out.
