All About Ciara

Ciara was born to a pair of fae nobles inside the Feeorin Forest. Her true name is not Ciara, of course, as no fae would give away their true name. However, it was difficult to communicate without knowing names so her false name was Ciara. She grew up, living as a part of the fae court. Even within the fae community, she was strange. Ciara hated parties and festivals, as she saw them as pointless distractions. It wasn’t until she experienced the death of her father that she began to realize why they existed. It was a way to celebrate life, death, and everything about the world they lived in. Without it, everything would become drab and dreadful.

She grew into a noble fae lady but was focused entirely on parties and playing tricks. After a particularly rowdy party, where a human got dismembered by a drunk fae, her parents decided to send her off to travel the non-fae world. This wasn’t an issue with Ciara at all, as she was curious about the world. However, once they got out of the forest, Ciara ditched her travel companions and went off on her own, without her shoes. Because shoes were boring. Now her family is trying to hunt her down but it is almost impossible since they never know what she is going to do.

Eventually she decided to open up a guild to encourage music, dance, and any kind of art in the world. Art was a reflection of the world in every aspect and she wants to watch people break through with new art revolutions.

Book of the Daydreamer

An old and worn book with a beautiful leather cover. It appears as if it would hold many tales of old, but the pages are blank. Resting in the middle of the book is a beautiful quill made out of a peacock feather. When the two are used together, the story that is written in the book will come to life around the user, but the words disappear into the book. When the writer stops, the effect only last a moment longer before it disappears like it was never there.

Holly Panpipe

This exotic instrument is played by blowing into the pipes, which strings together in a beautiful harmony. It is decorated with fine gold designs and a beautiful holly. When blowing on these festive pipes it causes just the right amount of snow to fall in a small radius around the musician.

Raine's Bluebell

Created as the first real project given to Angela’s avatar Raine this bluebell flower has sapphire gemstone petals and when moved or shaken rings like a clear bell. True to her status as Revaliir’s Bird Ambassador and “Bird Rights Activist Leader” this bell summons doves. Why you would want to do such a thing… Who knows.

Angela's Golden Cornucopia

Golden fireflies float around this solid gold cornucopia at all times. These graceful little bugs keep the cornucopia floating whenever it is not in use so that it is not violated by any tainted surface it may be around. Flowing from it is a rush of green magic like a roaring waterfall. The magic falls and dissipates into nothingness. It is owned by the Mother and a very sacred object… Why she agreed to let you borrow it… Only she would know.

The Golden Cornucopia provides a healing aura to not only the holder but also the area surrounding it. It is capable of healing or providing food but not both at the same time. In the hands of a mortal it’s capabilities are small but helpful. Use it wisely for the affects only last a short time and it takes time to gather Angela’s vast magicks.

Living Amulet

A beautifully crafted necklace with a radiant gemstone pendant. It feels warm almost like a hug, like it had only just almost gotten done cooling from the warm forge it was crafted from. It seems to emit a soft light and a small heartbeat comes from it.

Angela's Crystal Chalice

A beautiful chalice made from ancient crystal. The stem of this chalice is made out of abalone shell pulled from shells found in the deepest part of the ocean. This chalice can turn any toxin into its antidote but one must have enough toxin to effectively make a good antidote.

While not in use the whip turns into a beautiful long stemmed rose, watch out for the thorns.

Reaper's Scythe

Permanently stained with blood, legend has it that this weapon is meant to separate a soul from its body so completely that it cannot be resurrected unless by a God. Though this scythe appears to lack the ability to do so in its current form.

Skyshard Lyrebow

A slightly larger than normal lyre made of skyshards, exquisitely crafted and refined its music is sublime. However, the shape of the lyre is that a bow, for in fact the strings, also of skyshard, can be used to fire arrows. The instrument/weapon can create its own magical arrows with each drawing of its seven strings, if one is capable of pulling back that many. Normal arrows can be used as well as is recommended as the magical arrows aren't that powerful, more as a last resort. A finely crafted work of art and weapons combined to make any bard or musician comfortable they are always able to defend themselves.

An instrument that once belonged to a legendary succubus that used it’s melody to allure those from a great distance. It’s song can be heard from 50 meters and those that fall underneath its spell will fall madly in love with its wielder for a few minutes. Once the song ceases, it is said that the victims are more susceptible to lust for others.

Created by a lich of little renown, this tattered garment allows the wearer to become invisible at will. The effects ceased once his phylactery was destroyed, however. Now his purloined design is available to everyone.

Memory Flux

Allows the castor to recreate, create, or change a memory of the target. Target gets a higher chance to resist if they are unwilling. The memory twist lasts until either something triggers the memory to awaken or the imaginary memory disappears. This depends on caster/target agreement.

Aura Sight

This spell allows the caster to sense a magical aura around a person, or to sense another's presence even if the caster cannot see them. Also allows the caster to sense magical presence up to 40 yards away.

Dragon Pearl

An enchanted gem that was once owned by an Ataiyan dragon. Some say these are miniature versions of the legendary dragon orbs which granted incredible power. One can use this pearl to neutralize most poisons and toxins with a touch once a day. After its power is used, it turns black and loses its luster.

A beautiful censer crafted from rose gold in the shape of a lotus in bloom. When lit, the censer creates smoke that can dispel illusions and provide clarity of mind, offering protection for a small group. The incense it holds is a blend of lotus, rose, and amaranth petals.

Celestial Scepter

The weapon of a powerful moon goddess this scepter wields the power to change night or day time. The effects of this weapon are limited to the area around the caster. From it’s center comes rays of darkness or light depending on the time of day. Should it be daylight it will cast dark spells and the opposite is true for night.

Target imagines some enemy, object, or phenomenon for only a few minutes. This spell can be resisted by those who are strong enough. Caster must target someone within their line of sight.

Siren's Song

A powerful spell in which the user sings a beautiful melody that causes its victims to become hypnotised or even lured to sleep. In order for it to take full effect, the user must concentrate solely on the song or it will be ineffective.

Water Meld

The caster melds with water, keeping them hidden, or protected from water-based attacks.

Water Weaving

This spell allows the caster to manipulate small amounts of water with their mind.

No one is entirely sure how the natives have figured this out. I just hope I'm not next.

Alchemy Kit

This kit contains all of the tools an alchemist might need, including vials, a mortar and pestle, and a calcinator. May also include an alembic.

Torch

A basic light source, a torch is usually a stick with a combustible material at one end, which is then set ablaze.

Used to start a fire. A must have for every adventurer!

This parchment shows a region of Revaliir, or the entire world. It is useful for navigating.

Game Box

A box with a checkered top that holds the pieces necessary for many games of both noble and common origins. Cards, chess pieces, and dice are the most common items found inside, but other cultures have been known to stuff in more exotic things things like shogi pieces.

Herbs

These herbs can be prepared in a variety of ways— ground into a balm, brewed into a tea, chewed whole, and more— and have a variety of properties that make them valuable to alchemists, healers, assassins, and more.

Parasol

A finely crafted object that a lady would usually carry to keep the sun off of her.

Easel with Canvas

A piece of fabric stretched over a wooden frame with a stand made out of wood for one to paint on.

Pouch

A little belt pouch for one to put their coins or jewelry into.

Sins of the Father: Lust

The affected sentient being becomes overcome with lust, to the point where they may desire people they would otherwise not even consider. Has a number of malicious uses, but the most practical include making someone more susceptible to being seduced, and is particularly potent when coupled with a charm spell.
Duration: 5 hours
Only 1 Sin spell can be cast a day due to the potency of the spell.
However, if one desires a NPC can also cast 1 sin spell a day as well.

A large box containing a number of rockets filled with alchemical and magical concoctions that create bright colors in the sky when lit and set off. They are crafted by the alchemists of Sularia.

A master of the arcane arts, the mage can serve as your traveling artillery platform, or a means of getting around much quicker.

This spell allows the caster to better resist and defend against mental attacks and intrusions, such as charm spells, telepathy, or similar psionic magicks.

A fancy necklace made out of precious metal and gems.

Circlet

A decorative hair piece for druids to nobles. Comes in many different designs, materials, and styles.

Mask

This mask is crafted typically for one's face. It may be used for protection, disguise, or even entertainment.

Poison

This spell poisons a single target, draining their strength and stamina until the target is cured or the spell's effects wear off.

Magic Unlock

This spell unlocks most locked doors or chests via magickal means.

Parvpora's Sight

This spell allows the caster the ability to see better in the dark.

Fog Cover

Fog is conjured to cover where the caster wants. This fog obscures even the best vision but can only obscure the best vision for a few minutes before their eyes adjust. This allows for the caster to get away or find a safe place to hide... Or if one is daring enough, allows one to get an attack of opportunity.

Earth Grasp

Trees comes alive and grab hold of anyone within the radius of the caster’s spell but cannot move from their location. This spells lasts for as long as the caster puts mana into it thus becoming very draining after a few minutes.

Mass Paralysis

This spell renders multiple targets unable to move or react for a short period of time.

Rose Cloak

Sewn together from roses from the Bakulaw Isle, this large floral cloak is a status symbol of grace and beauty. It is enchanted never to wilt nor fade. The petals are like the finest silk.

Chaliese’s Lucky Belt

Fashioned much like the belt of a belly-dancer, it has many silver coins hanging from it. The coins jingle together creating the rhythm that the pirate was known for. It was rumored that if one heard the music of the coins, their fortune would be gone in a fortnight. No one ever caught the famous pirate before her disappearance. She left behind only her lucky belt. Provides good luck to the wearer.

Boots of Everbloom

Crafted in the meadows of Horae Island, these boots were once worn by the fairies that live there. They were used to create vast gardens as they walked. When one puts them on and walks, flowers pop up behind them in all colors and shapes.

Canelux’s Circlet

The symbol of the Terra Equinox. Made out of precious stones and metal. Rests gently upon one's head. Features the waxing and full moon status of Canelux. Increases one’s magic ability when Canelux is out.

Mystical Mushroom

A mushroom found growing in the Feeorin Forest that has a little trick to it. It can do five things to yourself or an enemy, as long as they eat it. (At random)
1. Puke live butterflies for an hour. 2. Tell the truth(no matter what) for an hour. 3. Grow a luscious beard. 4. Your entire body begins to feel like its being tickled and you lose yourself in uncontrollable laughter for an hour. 5. Uncontrollable singing and dancing for an hour.

Monarch Obi

A beautiful set of monarch wings enchanted onto an obi from Ataiyo. The wings can help the user fly, but they are so delicate that use during combat, storms, or other stressful situations is strongly discouraged.

Elder Trees

A spell guarded closely by the druids of Onnen, Elder Trees allows the caster to temporarily turn nearby trees into powerful and deadly ents. Up to five trees can be taken command of, but at increasing mana cost per tree.

Peaceful Chorus

Music fills area around caster can be heard up to 45 feet away baring there’s no obstructions in the way. All creatures who can’t resist become friendly. Spell moves with caster. However, caster cannot stop playing or singing while active.

Backpack

A hardy pack, with two straps that allow it to be worn on one's back. It's ideal for carrying supplies while on the move.

Harp

A musical instrument with strings plucked by hand, it produced a beautiful sound.

Riding Horse

This magnificent horse is mild-tempered and easy to train. It's ideal for riding, and has the endurance to travel long distances.

Summon Companion

Summons an animal pet or npc companion to one’s side. The pet or npc must be in caster’s inventory. Alternatively, one with permission can summon a pc to their side.

Gaes

A promise that must be fulfilled or bad things will happen to the one that broke it. Used primarily for deals. If the promise goes unbroken for extended periods of time, death is said to unfold but no one can confirm. A gaes can only be performed between willing parties. Gaes can also be broken by divine intervention and strong will.

Commune With Nature

This spell allows the caster to communicate with plants.

Cat

Feline companions are often said to be the owner, rather than the other way around. These proud, independent pets are excellent hunters of small rodents.

Archprotection

Multiple targets are afforded supernatural protection against magickal and physical attacks.

Weaken

Causes the victim to become physically weakened.

Protection

This spell gives the caster supernatural protection against magickal and physical attacks.

Strength

Increases the physical strength of the user for a short time.

Mind Rot

This spell confuses and dulls the mind, causing the target to be unaware of their surroundings.

Arcane Empower

This spell supernaturally enhances the target's magickal ability much like the similar spells Strength and Lesser Agility.

Greater Agility

Not only heightens one’s speeds, but allows them great balance and the ability to land on one’s feet from high height. This spell also allows the ability to walk on walls and ceilings for the duration of ten minutes.

Lesser Agility

This spell grants the ability to move at heightened speeds.

Drain Essence

The caster attempts to drain energy from a single target, allowing the caster to regain health or magical energy.

Disarm Trap

This spell magickally disarms most nonmagical traps, rendering them safe.

Noble Skirt

This garment is worn on the lower body, and is well-made.

Common Trousers

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

Common Tunic

A simple garment which might resemble a long shirt that stops somewhere between the wearer's hips and ankles. The sleeves may be long or short, depending on the local climate.

Basic Mana Potion

When consumed, this potion restores the users spell points by a small amount.

Basic Rejuvenation Potion

When consumed, this potion restores the users health by a small amount.

Greater Mana Potion

When consumed, this potion restores the users spell points by a large amount.

Greater Rejuvenation Potion

When consumed, this potion restores the users health by a large amount.

Elixir of Mother's Love

This is a specialized gift for everyone who wishes to challenge the spire. Angela has poured her whole heart and her love for the world into a single source. Those who consume the potion will gain an aura of protection allowing them to transverse the void safely without being attacked by the environment. The effect wanes over time so one must always be wary how much they have left. This brew does refill once a day by itself.
“My sweet child, I hope that my whole heart can protect you against true evil. Though I have not birthed you I have watched you grow since the beginning and love you all the same.” - Angela to those younger than her.

Ice Strike

This spell allows the caster to direct a blast of cold energy at a target.

Hunter's Instinct

Creates heightened senses needed to be a hunter. I.e. Smell, sight, etc.

Jester Mockery

The caster mocks their opponent if they can’t resist they take psionics damage and their response time slows a little bit for a short time.

Curse

This spell supernaturally weakens the target's strength, dexterity, and magickal ability.

Strangle

Ethereal tendrils reach out and strangle the target, preventing them from speaking, and, in time, suffocating them.

Abedian Hypnotic Curry

This curry has multiple different special ingredients that mess with one’s mind. It induces a psychedelic effect and other various effects: shrinking, another language being spoken, hair color change. None of the effects are permanent but be wary that you will never know what you are going to get when taking a bite.

Polymorph

This spell allows the caster to take on the form of any animal size of a bear or smaller. Polymorph can also be used to transform individual parts of your body into parts of the described creatures.

Botanical Growth

Using the power of one’s relationship with the earth, one is able to considerably speed up the growth of florae at a max of 40 feet. This allows the florae to grapple or contain the people around the caster.

Faerie Fire

This spells causes its caster to outline their target in light of any color of their choice. The target can be animate or inanimate.

Charm

This spell allows the caster to seem more endearing to the target, and the target is more receptive to the caster's suggestions or ideas.

Commune with Beasts

This spell allows the caster to communicate with animals. With great skill, the caster can even convince animals to fight for you; lesser skill sends all animals into a frenzy making them attack even the caster.

Song of Festivity

Anyone within a small radius of the caster begins to dance, immediately forgetting any reason they were upset or angry.

Vada Carol

This oratory spell allows the user to create displays of miniature, aurora borealis, but was not originally developed by the Vada people despite its namesake. The magic behind it comes from Zet’ski, where the half-angels used it to bring in the New Year. It was only after the spell started being used to defend against Void creatures in the Valley of Vada that its origin was forgotten.

Sash

A long length of fabric, sometimes woven material, worn on the body. It may be used to in many ways, such as around the neck, waist, shoulders, and even over the head.

Noble Dress

This women's dress is well made from the finest cloth. The gown is long and the bodice is embroidered.

Tarot Cards

A deck of 78 carefully illustrated tarot cards. Traditionally used to card play games but also rumoured to have divination properties to those who can translate the cards correctly.

Scrying Bowl

At first glance, this may seem like a simple bowl filled with water. However, there is a magickal aura present, and if one looks into the water, images of people may be seen.

Joss Sticks

When burned, these sticks give off fragrant smoke.

Divining Talismans

These talismans are usually shaped like dice and are used in divining rituals. They are almost as common as crystal balls among psychics and gypsies.

Crystal Ball

A mystical ball made from glass or crystal rests upon a base. Some claim that looking at the ball allows them to see into the future.

Tambourine

A musical instrument with pairs of metal cymabls attached to a frame. Most tambourines also have a drumhead stretched across the frame.

Sheet Music

Delicate pages of parchment inked with musical notes for any musician to play or sing from.

Fan

An object made of feathers or cloth stretched between sturdy spokes, it is often used to keep one's self cool.

Houseware Tools

Includes the common items you would need for housework like pots, pans, brooms, mops, culinary, etc.

Flute
