Orchids grow throughout the rainforest wherever they can thrive, in brilliant pinks and purples. Banana plants grow nearest to where outlying tribes are found, as they are a source of food. Highly desirable cacao trees grow here as well, adventurers risk their lives to retrieve the flavorful delights so chefs can have their way with them.
Different regions of the rainforest grow different highly unique trees. The most profitable are the Mahogany trees that grow on the eastern part of the rainforest. This is the main source of the rich wood and is exported from here to all over Revaliir. The only other known Mahogany grows on Arri’s Horae Island.
In the Western region is the continent’s largest source of honey. It is not produced by the regular honey bees one would find elsewhere but by large menacing bees. They have made their nests in the largest trees that Revaliir has to offer. The nests are so large that adventurers have been known to walk into them. The bees themselves are the size of war dogs. They build their nests on the Tualang trees that grow there. The Eastern part of Laeto hosts an entirely different being. Walking Palms are this region’s Ent. They are tall and thin with robust palm leaves. Their roots burst from the ground in an intricate dance. They are noble beings that are hell bent on protecting their home from adventurers who wish to profit from this region’s Durian fruit.
In the north, Acai Palm grow wildly. This plant thrives and also allows the tribes that live around them to feast on the delicate fruit it produces. Here Rattan Palm is used for most of the Tribe’s buildings.
Similarly in the South, more Durian grow for the tribes. Differently from the Rattan Palms that the tribes use in the north, in the south they use Carnabua Palm.
Acai Palm- Grows near swamps in Laeto. Produces little berries that are very healthy for you and a good source of food.
Banana Plant - Is the largest naturally occurring herbaceous flowering plant. Banana plants are often mistaken for trees because of how large and sturdy they appear. The banana plant’s stem is what is referred to as a false trunk. In Laeto, the Fe’i Banana grows here. They are a roundish banana compared to its other cousins. Typically Fe’i need to be cooked in order to be eaten.

Rafflesia- A large rootless parasite plant that grows on trees. When it blossoms it can be up to 39 centimeters in diameter. The flower is known as a corpse flower thanks to its fetid smell.
Rattan Palm- Rattan is the common name for over six hundred species found in Revaliir. The palm is used for building, handicrafts, clothing, and other goods.
Titan arum - The largest known Corpse Flower in the land of Revaliir, not produced by magic. The flower only blooms once every one hundred years. The Titan arum spells like a rotting animal, like corpse flower suggests. These flowers weigh a massive 115 pounds and are 20 feet tall.
Tualang - Tualangs can reach up to thirty stories in height, perfect for the war dog sized honey bees who makes these trees their home. The trees prefer to be near water sources like swamps, rivers, and ponds but it is not uncommon to find them grouped together where there is no large water source.
Walking Palm- These trees live on stilted roots. The roots allow them to move if they are knocked over. They tend to be tall and skinny with their beautiful palm leaves at the very top.
