”What secrets will you reveal to me?” The blood mage whispered to them self as they controlled the orb of blood that was hovering in the air in front of them. That fresh blood was from the two corpses that were near by. Both were covered in burns but their death’s had been caused by blood loss from the missing arms and legs they had between them. Neither were human, however, both were actually werewolves, having reverted back to one elf and one human form when they had died. The smell of burnt hair hung in the air as evidence of this, as did the smell of wet dog.

But neither of those bothered the blood mage as they worked with the blood, splitting off a smaller orb and drawing it closer to inspect it. Magic weaved down into the blood as they sought the source of the lycanthropy within the blood. ”Blast, another strain.” They sighed as they continued to work.

The mage’s reddish dark skin, long blood red hair and fire orange glowing eyes stood out in the light snow that covered the ground. Though the area around where the fight had taken place had been cleared of snow in the fighting as fire had been thrown around. The two werewolves had tried to rob the mage of their belongings, they had had no intention of turning the mage, just rob. But when Bianca had declined to hand over what valuables they carried, like the Goddess Box on their belt, the fight had started.

Slammed into the ground next to the mage was a large scythe with a blade of molded magma simmering away, hissing a little as snow flakes came down. ”Damned snow.” They grumbled, blood covering their blood red and black suit. They hadn’t come out of it unharmed, as their own blood dripped from a few claw marks on their arms, right leg and back. But since they hadn’t been bitten by either wolf, Bianca wouldn’t have to worry about being turned, not that Bianca probably would be able to turn anyway due to the nature of their very existence.

The blood mage, looking male and female at the same time, depending on the angle of the observer, sighed again. This was getting frustrating to say the least, they just wanted to study the blood, but the slowly growing cold was making it harder to keep the blood warm and useful. Not to mention their own aversion to the cold wasn’t helping. ”I’ll have to leave soon, for fuck’s sake.”
