The road to redemption seemed as convoluted as the path the elf had been traveling down for hours. Gods only knew how long it had been since he’s seen any trace of civilization. Just constant forest and woodland creatures surrounded him. At the very least, he didn’t appear hostile; just a simply tall elf in common garbs. His armor and weapons was left behind in some town inn but he could summon it if needed. Not that he could find one unless he really wanted to fight some elk or something.

The boredom was starting to kill him softly, he nibbled at the side of his mouth. The quietness was unsettling and there was a burning desire to at least get confronted by some robbers lurking in the shadows. At least then he’d have some interaction. He stopped for a moment, recognizing that he hadn’t been like this in a long time. But once his whole “crusade” went down burning before it gained footing, he had been in dismay for a while. Even visiting the goddess (or former goddess more like it), had left him with more questions than answers. Shaking his thoughts away, he continued on the dirt path, still chewing at his mouth until his cerulean eyes laid on a wagon. A horse was still attached to it and he slowly approached the exotic creature first before looking at its attachment. It looked fair and not a sound was heard from within it.

Curious, he gave it a look over, not completely convinced that someone wasn’t there. What would be the point of abandoning either the horse or the wagon? He placed an ear onto it but still nothing was heard. Perhaps in a moment of weakness, Baeleth moved up and tried for the door to go in and investigate himself.
