An unusual calmness revealed its figure, juxtaposed to the hostile features of Vilpamolon's usual residents—yet no less armed, as could be plainly witnessed from the gleaming spearhead slung arear, seemingly taller than its own wielder.

Dark-green irises nonchalantly drifted about their floristic surroundings, yet glinted for nothing in particular. The pupils housed seemed afflicted by some incurable indifference; Though, a keener eye might have detected the phenomenon–so easily overlookable, yet evidently abnormal. In the fact that those pupils lacked any of the human gleam detectable within even the immortal and jaded of eyes; reminiscent of a marionette allowed motion through strings–yet never true life.
Then it happened, after a length, the face would finally give motion–if only barely. The marionettes tugged the lip strings.

"Subtle in traceability–yet potent in effect."

An unelaborating silence followed, yet the gaze never left their subject; as if allowing the words opportunity to air.

"Its nature lethal against not the body–but the mind. Proven to inflict insanity or mental deterioration beyond aid with the greatest success."

A hand slipped into the linen hanfu loosely hung over harem trousers matching their wearer's raven locks.

"My employer ensures thorough compensation."

Jingles unveiled their weight far afore the heavy drawstring leather thudded atop the counter.

It was a small shop in Vilpamolan. It was in the center of the pirate city, but on one of the less crowded streets. The streets where street rats prowled and beggars stood. A place where only the dark magic shops stood, and black market merchandise was traded or purchased. Bar fights could be heard every night from the shop, and ships could be seen over the roof tops pulling into the docks at the early morning. The air smelled of ocean and rum, mixed with a small hint of blood for only the sharpest of noses. All of this could be witnessed or heard from the small shop in Vilpamolan. A metal sign hung from the large and heavy dark oak door which read: Kalyre's Botany The shop was notorious for the mysterious plants that could be bought from the store. Everything from carnivorous plants that could eat large birds, to small flowers that spouted colorful fumes that could change the gender of an individual for as long as 15 minutes.

The owner of the shop was more curious than the shop itself. The name of the young woman was Natza Kalyre, a mysterious Salamander with vibrant orange and yellow scales over small parts of her body, with shifty and curious hazel eyes. Curiously, though everyone else could get lost in the large plant-covered store, Natza can navigate though the shops with her eyes closed, and only her sense of smell to guide her. But today, she could not be found behind the counter of the shop, nor could she be found in the green house behind the counter in the back of the shop. She wasn't even on the second floor balcony over-looking the shop with the more dangerous assortment of plants.

"Hm… lets see…" The small and snake-like voice came from above the shop, and there, hanging from a large green vine was the Salamander. The vine had wrapped around her waist like a harness, and her dress had tangled itself into the smaller of vines. "The Eucomis Officnarum… a common plant that blooms in the late autumn.. can be found in most jungles.." The woman held a deep red book in her hand with the image of a plant carved into the leather cover, and the world "Plants of the World" written on the side in a different language.

"They have kidney shaped leaves that are usually a bright purple… easy to grow an maintain in small groups.. usually used in tea to help ward of drunkenness or sea sickness.. they have small thorns for defense.. and they grow orange fruits that can be used as common cold medicine. Interesting.." She picked up a small quill positioned on a ceiling banister, and wrote the name of the plant down on a notepad, before continuing to read her book.

"Dichichium Peltatum.. very rare.. small in size and can be found in dark and wet places.. it blooms for once a year for four months.. small heart shaped leaves which are usually a minty green with small dark red flowers.. usually grow short distances for each other.. flowers are highly toxic and are used in basic poisons.. easily detectable for sighs of death.. Leaves can be dried and used as a substitute for mint and basic hot peppers.. beware stinging needles which can induce vomiting and headaches."

She wrote down the name of the plant into her journal and then closed it. As she sat up, the plant loosed around her waist and she slide out easily and began to climb down the ladder on her left to reach the second floor of the stop. She landed carefully on the soft bright blue grass that carpeted the second floor ground. She turned around and walked over to the balcony railing. The wooden railing had small green plants with bright orange and purple flowers that opened and closed slowly. "Wood Eaters.. commonly found in wood that has rotted over time.. can be grown in regular dark oak wood.. easy to contain.. eats small insects and berries." She recited out loud, and picked up a small basket, and began to drop very small berries into the small plants mouths as they let them dissolve into a gel and swallow them.
