As Rex watched Jet try to teach Hazel how to throw an ax, he gave a mean look at the lycan. Not only was Rex untrained, but he was also tipsy, borderline drunk. There was already another pint headed his way, and as it arrived, he downed it, ignoring the fact that it tasted like pure grain alcohol. Still, he was impressed when Hazel made a decent throw.

“I bet I could do it if I tried,” Rex grumbled, sinking back into his seat. Before anything else could happen though, Hana got a wild idea, and dragged poor Hazel off to change clothes.

With them gone, Rex stood back up and took an ax, trying to throw it. To his surprise, it stuck hard. Unfortunately, it was way off the mark. So off the mark, that it was actually behind Rex where the ax had gone. There was a glare from the tavern owner, and Rex quickly apologized, getting the ax and putting it back on the table.

“Maybe…no more throwing…”

When Hazel and Hana came back, Rex’s eyes widened. Obviously, Hazel was super unsure of the outfit, but Rex was completely there for it. “Hazel…you’re…” He swayed. “You’re fucking gorgeous…” He held out his hands to her. “I’ve never seen someone so pretty…before…” He was smiling. “I really like you, you know…”

Wesley watched as Rex did his best to teach Hazel how to drink. He could see that the drink was quickly affecting the both of them and the realization dawned on him. He would be the only sober person in the room with two warriors who never stopped tormenting each other, a shy girl who obviously had never had alcohol before, and a redhead. This was going to be a very long night. He kept his arms around Hana and occasionally gave her little kisses and snuggles to keep her from throwing an axe at Jet's head. Suddenly, Hana jumped up with a new idea and ran off with Hazel, pushing her up the stairs.

"Welp, this can't be good." He sighed with a small smile.

Despite everything, they usually meant well and always knew how to make a situation more interesting. If it wasn't for Jet and Hana, think of how dull his life could have become. The thought of it makes him thankful for them now, even if they were causing a little chaos. When Hana returned back, his face was pink once more as he stared in awe at her gorgeous and revealing outfit. He wanted Hana in his arms right then and there. She rushed over, as if knowing that's what he wanted. He gave her a series of kisses before she got up to throw some axes at the bullseye.

"Knock them dead. Not literally." He said carefully.

He would have added something flirtatious and awkward at the end but he had a feeling if he did, she would probably strip naked or do something else that would result in them getting kicked out of the tavern. Instead he watched his girlfriend with a bit of blush running across his cheeks. He double checked his drink to make sure it was just water and that nobody added anything. It would be a disaster if he got drunk now.

Hazel took Rex’s hand gently and smiled at him. Even though she was nervous to admit it… It seemed like right now it was a welcomed addition. That was before she decided to chug down a drink thanks to her nerves.

She sniffed at the apple ale he gave her and made a more pleased face. She sipped at it and clicked her tongue before nodding to him. That was much better than what she had been drinking before.

“Hold on Lover Boy. I have an idea,” Jet came up behind Hazel and pushed her forward. “I’m going to show you how to do this.” He helped her position her hand and held her steady. If someone didn’t know Jet they would think he was getting close because he liked her but a skillful eye could see he was adjusting her. “Okay, Hazel. Listen to me,” Jet spoke and Hazel tilted her head up at him. “Good, when you throw the ax you have to mind it. The top is heavier than the bottom so if you put all your effort in the wrong place you are going to miss like Rex.”

Hazel nodded and Jet brought up another ax and launched it effortlessly. “Did you see that?”

Once more Hazel nodded and she took one of the axes and tossed it. It landed just out the bullseye. “I think I got it…” It wasn’t as far into the wood as the lycan twins’ were but it was progress. “Okay.”

“WAIT, wait,” Hana stood up and waved her hands. “We’re taking a moment to change. Please. Thank you. Wait here Lover Boys and Dick. We are girls we should look cute.” Every once in a while Hana got the urge to dress up and Hazel looked like a blanket.

She pushed Hazel upstairs and Hazel turned back to Rex, “I’ll be back!”

Soon they came back down and Hana was wearing a spring green and light pink short dress. It was off-shoulder and her mid-thigh. It had a sweetheart neck and she came over to Wesley kissing him. “You wanted me to throw more axes right?” She smirked mischievously. “I can show you now~”

Hazel was hiding behind Hana until she left her for Wesley. Her face was bright red as she attempted to pull down the short skirt, if anything it was even worse than Hana’s. It was white with pink accents. Off-shoulder long bell sleeves. The shirt cropped just after her bust and was ruffly almost. It had the same sweetheart neck that Hana’s did. The skirt wrapped around her waist just enough so the wind couldn’t blow it up but it was certainly short enough it didn’t matter. It tied on the side into a rather medium-sized pink bow.

Her hair had even been tamed a little with a cute headband that Hana had laying around. “Whatcha think Rex? Did I do good?” Hana yelled as she took the ax from her brother and whirled it right at the bullseye.

Rex wasn’t entirely sure how to handle the situation at hand. The fact of the matter was, Hana and Jet seemed like they were about to throw down, and the trigger seemed to be that Jet had a crush on Hazel. It was hard to reconcile, the man who had just offered to show Rex how to throw an ax with the man who was potentially a threat to their new relationship.

“I uh…” Rex flushed as he thought back to the last week with Hazel. He was surprised, though, to hear that Hazel wanted him to step in between the two. “Uh…I…feel like they’d tear me apart…” There was a fine line between his bravery and his stupid. Demons were one thing…sibling lycanthropes were a whole different beast.

When things started to get a little too heated, though, Wesley seemed to draw Hana back with the power of…being shirtless, which threw Rex for a moment. And the icing on the cake was Hazel lying. The way she tried to speak, and the way her eyes moved…even Rex knew a bad con when he saw one.

Still, Jet offered to teach Hazel how to throw an ax, and called Rex her boyfriend. At that, he and Hazel both spoke up simultaneously. “We’re not…” But Rex trailed off, just as Hazel did. It was hard to really admit. He wasn’t sure about how Hazel felt about it, but Rex was…almost embarrassed. How would he tell Lewis and Simone? How would they even react? Would they think he was lying?

“Oh, wait, what?” Rex was lost in thought, and when he started paying attention again, Hana was telling him to show her how to drink. “Have…you ever had anything to drink before?”

Hazel stared at him for a moment, and cocked her head to the side. “No?”

Rex sighed, “Here…drink this.” He passed the apple ale that he had ordered to her and took her drink. The moment he took a whiff of it, his eyes started to water. Whatever it was that Hana and Jet had ordered for her was strong. “So…when you have something like this, Hazel…you need to…” He took a large swig, and slammed the mug down. “Drink fast…and make sure it misses your tongue. But that ale there, it should be good. You can sip that.”

The boy took another swig. It was definitely strong, and whatever it was, was hitting Rex harder than he was used to. Most of the time, he snuck a few drinks here or there at home. This was a whole new experience.

“All right,” Rex said as he stood up, stumbling slightly. “Where…is that axe…”

Wesley had seen how this was going to go and did the only thing he could think of, distract her with abs. Despite his mannered appearance and somewhat thinner overall build, he had a nice set of abs that always got Hana running over to him when he needed to keep her from doing something destructive. She sat in his lap once more and he wrapped his arms around her, determined to keep her for a while. He pressed his lips to her neck and kissed her, from the neck up towards her face. Once she was done with kisses, he still kept his arms wrapped around her, knowing she would end up doing something mischievous if he dared let her go. He watched as Jet offered to teach Hazel how to use an ax.

"I have to agree with Hana on this one." Wesley commented, "You both look like a couple."

Even a blind man could see it. He eventually let Hana go, knowing she would start squirming if he held her too long. Hazel seemed to be unprepared for any of this, including the alcohol at the bar. Wesley was a bit on the tamer ends of things but even he knew how to drink alcohol, even if he didn't do it too much. He looked over to Hana, wondering if he should do it.

"Hey Hana, could you show me one of your axe throwing moves again?" He asked.

He really just wanted an excuse to stare at her while she throwed weapons.

Hazel made a face and frowned, “That sucks I’m sorry Rex. I got enough silver for us to stay in another tavern though.”

Hazel was excited to see Hana and Jet. “They grew up half in Sularia half in the tribal lands of the highlands. Their mother is Angela actually.” Hazel whispered to Rex.

Once Rex got done trying to show off, "You gotta take it like this." Jet showed him how to do it slowly. "After a bit, it's muscle memory and you can just whirl it like Alpha bitch over there."

Hana was listening and she smirked a bit. “Jet wants to fuck Hazel.”

Jet let his ax go as he was showing Rex how to throw. He completely missed and just turned to look at his sister. “CAN YOU FUCKING NOT?!”

Hana smirked a bit, “Only girl to ever catch his eye and he can’t even be with her.”

“That’s a sore topic Hana,” Jet frowned immensely his eyes were turning black.

Hazel was panicking as she hid behind Rex and grabbed his waist, “Stop them Rex.”

“No, don’t stop him.” Hana jumped up. “Get off the Hazel wagon. Get a nice shifter girl. Put pups in her. That’s the law,” Hana got an ax. “And stop being so fucking sensitive about your dick not getting wet.”

Jet kicked the table over and growled at her. “Let’s go RIGHT the fuck NOW HANA.”

“FUCKING GLADLY!”

Wesley panicked and patted his lap and Hana took a chair breaking it over Jet’s head. The lycanthrope male growled. “HANA,” Wesley took his shirt off and it distracted Hana as she padded over his way and sat in his lap.

“It’s okay… Jet.” Hazel tried to calm Jet down. She was obviously lying as she had no idea. She was stupid to these types of things. “I knew.”

“You knew?” Jet’s blue eyes came back and he stared hurt. “Oh,” he got more alcohol and drained it. “Want to learn?” He held up the ax. “I need to show your boyfriend how to throw.”

“He’s not…”

“He totally is!” Hana yelled from Wes’s lap as she got kisses.

Hazel blushed and took the alcohol offered to her and began to drink it. She made a face. “This is…”

“Gross when you drink it like that. Rex show her how to drink.”

“Ah yes, Mamlak!” Rex said as they finally arrived in the city. It had been a full week since they had left from the small village at the edge of the Bohar Plains, and now that they were finally here, things were going to look up. The journey had not been a bad one, but Rex was a city boy through and through, and he felt right at home in Mamlak.

“We can even use the portal in my family’s house!” Rex stated with confidence. “They have a house in every major city. This was one of the few that I rarely came to, though…” He wondered, though, if whats-her-face still lived here. She had broken it off with Rex after she learned that he wasn’t actually a local, and for some reason that was the dealbreaker.

Was her loss… Rex thought to himself as he led Hazel to the house. Or, more accurately, where the house should have been. What was in its place was merely the ashen remains from when Lewis had been on the run. “Oh…I guess….” He sighed. “They haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet…” The portal seemed to have been destroyed as well, which meant they would have to find a mage.

“Well…I guess we can get to that tomorrow. I doubt anyone would be available at this time. To the tavern?” Rex asked. Hazel agreed, and they made their way.

To Rex and Hazel’s surprise, they encountered a trio who seemed to recognize Hazel. Already, Rex was confused at everything that was going on. Hana was the first one to hug Hazel, and already she seemed like a real charmer. If anything, she reminded the boy of his father, though more intense, if that was even possible.

The next person was named Wesley, and seemed to be with Hana. Definitely didn’t seem to fit the same energy as the other two, but all the same he was there.

Last, Jet was more amicable towards Rex than Hana, even offering his hand to Rex. Of course, the boy took it, shaking Jet’s hand. Already, he was feeling a bit outclassed by the lycan family plus one. If these were Hazel’s friends…

Hana offered him the ax, which he took. It was a heavier weapon than the sword he had borrowed from his father. Imitating Hana, he hefted it across the room, missing the mark entirely. “Oh hey…looks like I got a bad ax…” he said. “Let me…” He grabbed another one and tossed it, once more missing the mark entirely. “Fucking…” A third, this time slamming the pommel into the wall, causing it to bounce back right at Rex.

Hana was quick, though, and caught it, the blade nearly inches from Rex’s face.

“Er….maybe…not my sport of choice,” Rex said after a moment. “I’ll take a drink now…apple ale, please…”

They had just finished a battle and returned back to the tavern. The twins had been fighting the majority of the time while Wesley had been sitting at their table, pretending not to know the two. He loved Hana but after the tenth drink she usually started acting loud enough to attract everybody's attention and get the bartender glaring at him for bringing the twins in. However, when Hana hopped onto his lap, he suddenly didn't mind as much. He just held her as she continued insulting her twin brother.

Wesley took a sip from his drink, which was just water without a drop of alcohol. Somebody needed to be sober tonight. Then two new people walked in and Hana jumped off his lap and bounded over to Hazel. Wesley stood up and walked over to the two strangers and was about to introduce himself when Hana did it for him. His face grew a little pink when Hana called him handsome. No matter how many times she said it, he still got embarrassed with the compliments. They all went back over to the table and Wesley decided to pay for the groups drinks, since they were friends of Hana and all.

"Hey bartender, um I'll be paying for what they order." He said before looking back to Hazel and Rex, "It's nice to meet the both of you."

His manners was one of the things his mother made a point to teach him. The moment Wesley became rude was the moment somebody really messed up. Wes turned his head to watch as Hana threw and axe over her shoulder. He smiled as he watched her, knowing that goddess of a woman was his girlfriend. Then she mentioned how she wanted to earn points so he would fuck her good that night. His face became a bright shade of red and he looked away from everybody else. She was shouting loud enough for the entire bar to hear her!

"The tribal war was interesting to fight in. I've never seen so many lycans in one place." He admitted.

Hana came back and sat on his lap again. He held her, a bit tightly as he didn't want to let her go quite yet. First, he didn't want her to start a bar fight with Jet. Second, she was very warm and cuddly.

"You know Jet, you wouldn't have to worry about her beating you to a pulp if you stopped taunting her." He mentioned, "And Hana, please don't start any bar fights. The last one costed us five hundred silver for damages."

They were in Mamlak after a battle. Hana’s long hair had been let down and she was in a corset and pants with knee-high boots. She whipped an ax right into a bullseye of the tavern nearly shaking the wall. “AND THAT IS HOW YOU HIT IT. You pussy ass little bitch,” Hana was vile as she spit towards a red-haired male with war braids. He had a dark tunic and pants that matched. With vivid blue eyes, he got up and drained his mug.

“Fucking shut up short stack,” he took six foot two compared to Hana who was five feet and an inch.

“Look Wesley, I think… Jet thinks he found his balls. Though they crawled up what used to be his dick,” Hana hopped back onto Wesley’s lap and took her mug, and drained it.

“SHUT UP SHORT STACK,” Jet roared before he threw the ax splitting her’s and hitting the bullseye. “See? Just as good as you.”

“You are okay. Mama should have still swallowed you,” Hana smirked at that point Hazel walked in with Rex and Hana got excited. “HAZEL?! I HAVEN’T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER!” The little blonde bounded over to Hazel and hugged her. Hazel hugged her back.

“Hana?! Look at you! Hi Jet! And… Who is that?”

“Oh… That’s my beau. Isn’t he handsome?” Hana smirked a bit.

“He’s a fucking bitch whisperer.” Jet drained another mug and threw another axe scoring a bullseye.

“HEY, YOU FUCKING COCK GOBBLER IT WAS MY TURN. MA SHOULD HAVE SWALLOWED YOU!”

“We’re twins asshole. She would have swallowed you too!”

“Nah, I was destined to be born. You were the leftover sparkles in Pa’s eye,” Hana shoved Jet over after leading Hazel and Rex over. “Watch and learn,” Hana turned around to face them and drained yet another mug of ale before throwing an ax over her shoulder scoring a bullseye.

“You are a fucking showoff.”

“I’m trying to earn points so Wes fucks me good tonight… Something you don’t know nothing about!” Hana laughed a bit as she jumped on Wes’s lap.

Jet shook his head and hugged Hazel, “Sorry, probably stink.”

“War?” Hazel tilted her head cutely and Jet just smiled at her.

“Tribal war with the border. Hana and I just came back from it… We’re all kinds of fucking riled right now. I’m Jet,” he held his hand out to Rex. “This is my twin sister Hana and her boyfriend, Wesley. We’re lycanthropes from the highlands minus Wesley who somehow ended up with my sister. Poor guy having to deal with miss bitchface.”

“TAKE THAT BACK YOU FUCKING DICKWAD,” Hana yelled as Wesley held her. Hana got a couple more mugs of ale ordered and they were offered up to Hazel and Rex. "Stay and party with us so we can get it out of our system. We will be doing nothing but drinking and fucking. Well, Jet will be cranking one out."

"Can you fucking not?" Jet looked at her.

"Awwww so shy cause Hazel is hereeeee," Hana laughed a bit as Jet whirled another ax at the bullseye.

"Wanna try?" He offered an ax up to Rex. "And shut the fuck up and sit on your bitch whisperer." Hana let out a growl.
