The Mother cannot simply be found anymore. No longer are there gates to bring you to her or for you to randomly stumble in. The only people who can and will find her, are those who need to or want to. Whether the need/want is subconscious or not doesn’t matter. Everyone who is on this conquest will have a red string appear around their heart finger. This ribbon is only visible to the wearer and those holding onto the wearer. This allows for groups to travel in and out of Elysia. Following the string no matter where one is will warp them into the realm.
Just like her sister goddess Dalanesca, Angela has the Soul-Stream as well. Only her half is more docile and uplifting. The pitch black of the surrounding area is not eerie or disinviting. Auroras swirl past the visitors in ethereal bliss as they shoot a blast of air at the travelers. The air is filled with the warmth from a mother. The devotion of a good wife. The love of a family member. It is calming and endearing for all those who get lost in its wake. It is but a short journey if one keeps their grasps on the string that brought them. Following the ribbon of red will warp a person out just as easily as it warped them in.
The Soul-Stream falls away in a blink of an eye leaving the travelers stringless as their feet hit the sea glass filled beach that greets them. The sea glass is a multitude of different beautiful rainbow colors. Neverending they straight down the shore for what appears to be miles. There’s no sand on this beach, not even a grain.
Lining the beach on one side is a thick tropical forest. Even the air is heavy and thick with hot humid summer air. On the other side though is something peculiar. The ocean’s blue color has been replaced with the sky. During the day the ocean is the starry night sky. During the night the ocean becomes sky blue with roaming white clouds. As the water splashes up instead of rainbows it shows mists of twilight.
From the unique ocean water comes twilight foam where the skies and water have mixed. The foam is special here in Elysia as it gives life. From the foam forms many different life forms from animals to insects and even the occasional floating seedling. This is the beach of life where twilight brings gifts to the day and night siblings.
Torches of silver line the tropical edge of the beach. During the day it looks more like a perch and for good reason. Once the night begins to roll in gorgeous phoenixes of many shades of gold swoop in from the skies, forest, and ocean. Landing on the pedestal they take on a transformation becoming a beautiful golden flame that lights the way into the forest and away from the beach.
During the night in Elysia, it should be noted that normal animal sounds are not found here… What is found is the soft playing of music from a violin. It is endearing and warm without bother at all. The music of the night is romantic and causes the feeling of longing for the person who the traveler loves the most… If the traveler has their most beloved with them it promotes a feeling of absolute bliss.
Following the torches into the jungle keeps the travelers on a red and pink sea glass path. The trees become decorated the farther in one goes with small glowing flowers known as fairy lights. They are in a soft shade of purple that compliments the sea glass path. Once the fairy lights reach the peak of their population up in the trees one will arrive in a circle garden. Around the circle are high hedges that are well loved. Flower beds are overflowing with pink alstroemerias. The bricks of the circle are mosaic forming a picture of the Tree of Life with its roots entangling into the shape of a heart.
The circle only has one other exit which is large enough for a carriage to come through. Should one wait long enough a carriage of stained glass will arrive to greet the visitors. Led by a team of white Nightmare horses with flaming gold manes and no driver. They know where they need to take their guests after all.
Whether the visitor followed the path or rode in the carriage up the hill they would arrive at the Mother’s home. Deep within the sweltering heat of the jungle sits an enormous white alabaster stoned building. It’s elegance gleams in the light of the sun or moon no matter the time of day. It is a more baroque style in the making. The details and trim of the temple is precious gold. The windows are all stained glass depicting love stories, tales of heroes of Life, and the past stories of the Goddess herself from when she was just Fertility, the sphere of Earth, and when she was Goddess of Decay and Death.
The ground level around the temple has towering pillars of quartz supporting the upper levels. Around the pillars are creeping vines of ivy and other creeping flowers and plants. Each pillar seems to be devoted to a different species as they never intermingle. Large carvings of the mother are on the upper floor walls on the outside. The details of her are done with gold and silver so they stand out for visitors to see as they arrive.
In the courtyard, as they get out of the carriage they are met with a large quartz fountain. The Mother stands there in the center holding two children on her hips. Water flows from the vases that the children have in their hands. Around her are more children with more vases overflowing with water. The water itself has a reddish tint to it and if one were to drink from it they would find themselves in a blissful state, in love with everything around them. For this reason, children are not allowed to drink or play in the fountain, however, adults may do so at their own risk.
Just like the old Tree Temple, the inside of the Dashuri Palace is ever growing to accommodate her growing family, temple help, and random guests. The floors are pristine marble along with the walls as well. Paintings of her family and historical events are displayed with frames of gold trim.
Clinic:
Not one to lose her touch with the healing practices. Angela has kept her clinic almost exactly how it was. It is in a room off the main corridor. Inside is a vast tropical plant-filled room with a sunroof over top. Though from how the temple was built on the outside the sky appears to be crafted with magic as it is never night except for the patient quarters. Soft beds are lined up for the use of patients who are there to be treated. All the materials a cleric could ever need can be found in this room if it cannot then just ask and Angela shall provide it.
There is a backdoor to the clinic that links it to Tar Eisalae for emergencies should something go wrong in Adraejen’s alchemy lab or other practices.
Library:
When one enters the room, they find themselves suspended over a large grotto. The water is crystal clear with large beautifully colored koi fish swimming happily. Tall bookshelves made of abalone and white marble fill the library. Beautifully crafted tables are there for one to enjoy the books the library has to offer.
Stairs lead up to the second floor of the library offering a door to Adraejen’s temple library. This is one of the many connection points between Elysia and Tar Eisalae, allowing the deities to always be near each other. The floor of the second layer is made from richly colored mahogany wood. The stairs are spiraling staircases located in either corner of the library. They are suspended with magic and made from the same wood as the second floor.
Throne Room:
Straight through the entry, the visitors of Elysia can find twin doors made of stained glass depicting a large red rose entering bloom. It is through these doors that they can find Angela’s reception room or rather her throne room. The flooring of the throne room is made from mosaic tiles of gold and white marble creating spectacular intricate patterns throughout the room. Large columns hold up the room throughout it. They are made from stained glass with green life lights within the center causing them to glow brightly to illuminate the room.
The vaulted ceiling is completely made from stained glass of the same patterns as the columns. The ceiling curves down into each column almost like running water being drained. The ceiling is illuminated with the eternity of Twilight unlike the columns filled with life energy.
A green slender carpet extends from the entry all the way up to where the throne lies. The throne sits on a step up room. Three steps go up to the platform where the throne sits. The edges of the step up are lined with gold banisters as decoration. Flowers representing love are entangled around them. Behind the throne is a large stained glass window of the symbol of Arri. The six roses intertwined: blue, red, white, yellow, purple, and finally black.
The throne in the center of the step up room is cushioned with fine red velvet up the back and on the seat. However, the shape of the throne on the back is a phoenix in gold with real phoenix feathers flowing out the head and off the armrests like wings. Flowers of Birds of Paradise shoot out from the chair as well in harmony with the phoenix. The feathers emit small illumination of the life lights within the pillars of the room bringing it all together.
