This tale is always lovely if you are looking for one about kindness and care. One where someone finds themselves on in a world they could never imagine, when they were sure they would be dead.

The setting is deep in sea. Some of the tales speak of it taking place in Bakulaw Isle, while others it is just a lost isle without a name. The lush island rests forgotten by time and the touch of man. The trees grow tall, and there are waterfalls everywhere, with streams running like roots from the largest of them. The wilderness makes it hard to not get lost once you leave the sandy beach. There are many animals that have made the world their own, from large cats to the occasional boar. However, the animals are much larger than normal on this island. The boars could easily be the perfect size for a mount. One would never expect man to be able to live in this forgotten island, but not everything is as it seems.

The real story begins with a horrible battle between two airships, in the dead of night. The battle raged for hours until both ships were up in flames. The victor barely escaped as they left the loser to sink into the ocean below. Not one person survived. No, I lied. Obviously one survives, because there is a story in this! A single victim from the airship finds their way, half dead, to this forgotten island. And, as you have probably guessed, there also happens to be someone else living on this island.

Now, are you the victim? You find yourself waking up, not on a sandy beach, but high up in the trees. You are in a treehouse, but that should not be possible! The design appears flawed and dangerous from where you lay, but it is obvious someone lives there. You are distrustful, but also thankful for this person who saved you. Your wonder how they were able to bring you, from death’s door, all of the way up here. You really should learn to not ask so many questions!

Or, perhaps, you are this human of the wilderness? You have never seen one of your kind before, outside of the long-dead parents that had raised you. They had spoken of people who would one day come for them, but they passed away before that ever happened. Like your parents, you have learned to survive in this place and call it your home. You are happy with your life, but when you find the victim lying at the brink of death, you could not resist the urge to help. From that moment on, you knew you did not need to be alone.
