Here is the story that retold in many different ways. In the dimension of a Deity, almost anything can happen, and one poor traveler is going to find that out.

The scene takes place in a beautiful temple that rests on a broken piece of land, high in the air. The walls themselves are pieces of different buildings being held together by a surging magic. Small chunks of land lead all the way up to the main temple like a staircase, but they shift and move sporadically, causing many to fall back to the world of mortals. Many traps magical traps have been set. Doors would refuse to open, or rooms suddenly vanish, only to return later.

You are a greedy deity. You believe that because you control the strings of fate, you can have anything your heart desires. You see a traveler and cannot believe they have managed to navigate all of your traps. It had to mean that they were the one that you were meant to meet, because only those who were touched by fate could easily enter your temple. You would use every trick in the book to get them to stay, say any lie, or cast any spell.

Or, perhaps, you are the lost traveler. You find the dimension of the deity by pure chance, or maybe it was the strings of fate. You are able to work through every trap the deity set, and arrive safely at the doors of the temple. You greet the deity with curiosity but care little for the powers the deity holds. You speak to the deity as if you two stand on equal ground. Despite the traps and lies, you cannot help but stay by this deity’s side. Could it be love you were feeling, or just mere curiosity?

The whole event is rather bizarre, but by the end they were madly in love. Alas, tragedy struck. It is said that the deity fell before they found love. But I shall tell you a secret to this story, something only I know: it is said that the traveler did find the deity later. The challenges they faced brought them together and they lived happily ever after.

Who shall you be: the greedy deity or the lost traveler? Oh oh, or maybe you are one of the few clergy of the temple, also trying to win the heart of the deity? Now, would that not be beautiful?
