Off the coast of the island of Abed lies an archipelago of islands too small and barren to live on. To most ships, they are a nuisance, easily hidden from view when the tides are high and visibility is poor. However, a curious secret lies beneath the islands' rocky surface. When the moons Canelux and Parvpora are both full, the islands rise up out of the ocean as the overgrown remains of great stone arches. In the center of these pillars lies a platform with an entrance blocked by a black granite door leading down into the depths.

The cave housing the sealed entrance has slowly developed a growing colony of multicolored corals in its time below the waves, obscuring any distinguishing architectural features save for the door. The door itself is ancient, weathered by the currents and time. Yet in spite of its exposure to the elements, the metal inlay and stone carvings are still intact. The metal used to adorn the stone door bears a luminescent, silvery sheen while being heavily resistant to corrosion and physical damage. When the moons are not in the correct phase, this door is also protected by an impenetrable magical barrier that repels any attempts to force it open through means magical and otherwise.

The carved designs upon the ancient door consist of concentric circles and various geometric designs interconnecting when their lines cross. Such designs have not been found in other known ruins on the continents, leading scholars to believe it to be a relic from times long forgotten.

Should one arrive at the door when the barrier is weakened, it will open when one places their hand on the central circle where all the lines converge. A set of stone steps leads downward to a labyrinth of floors, containing rooms laden with deadly traps and priceless treasures. The walls here are lit by sconces bearing crystal orbs that cast an eerie blue light throughout the rooms and hallways.

In the upper levels, life-sized statues of humanoid figures stand in wall recesses and beside doorways on marble pedestals. Their features are indistinguishable from another, aside from the stone masks where their faces should be. The statues themselves were carved so that they were cloaked and clad in robes, shrouding their purpose and identities in mystery.

It is easy to lose one's way within these stone halls, and as one ventures deeper parts have become flooded with water. The water levels in these lower rooms can be changed using sets of levers, raising some portions while lowering others simultaneously. To add to the danger, there are creatures who have made their home in the water below the platforms, eager to taste their first meal in a long time. The barrier which seals the door regains its full strength once the phases of the moons are no longer in alignment, so when exploring the ruins one should spend their time wisely.
