"What in Reyansh is going on"?! She knew it was more of a rhetorical question than anything as she stood alone amidst the crater that her home once rested upon. Not even the earth that acted as the foundation remained. Turning back to the now empty coffin she escaped from to return to the waking world. Breaking out of her first wave of shock into another as in horror the newly minted undead scoured her heat deprived body checking to see how much Kasumi had done to her. Relived that for the most part, everything seemed to be where she had left it, well aside from the lack of a pulse, but that was taken probably quite a while ago. After many attempts at dry heaving from the thought of becoming the very thing she hunted while rambling on in a panic about how she could not be undead, reality eventually kicked in.

Resting on the grim ridden rock her awareness about her surroundings kicked. The elephant in the room was the giant bolder floating just above her head, now how she missed that or the thick fumes surrounding her is equal parts denial and panic. Amazed, shocked many emotions and thoughts towards the floating rock left her paralyzed. Placing two and two together the former priestess made the obvious deduction that her home had relocated to the skies. While on a roll, and ignoring the fact that she had most of her faculties the odd pipes protruding from the foundation of her former home was the cause of the cities relocation and dense pollution. Covering her mouth at the sight of the streams of smoke billowing from the large pipes reminded her of the dreadful rooms filled with nobles. She could never stand those smoke-filled rooms nor the company of those vexing nobles.

Further examination of the lower half of Karith proved more upsetting as a cascade of what she could only describe as a putrid crude substance of mysterious means expelling from another port of Karith. Closing her eyes in disgust at what her home has become. While becoming increasingly disappointed in her homeland, she realized that her senses of smell seemed to have done lost in her rebirth as she could only imagine the smells that exuded from this place.

While she could lay here for eternity stewing in her anger at her home and the gods, she was well aware that it would provide nothing to answer her questions. While unsure of how she came into being again, that fact that she remained untouched for so long meant that she had to be at least a fairly high level undead. While what type of undead is remained to be seen, but she had far more important business to attend to namely deal with whoever turned her home into a dump. With her goals set, the young undead brushed herself off and waded through the thick smog and flith in search of a way to enter her former home.

The thick smog made exploration rather difficult as she could barely see her hand in front of her face. You would think that Kasumi would have at least gifted her with better sight in exchange for the loss of other sense, however, the lack of smell was again a boon as she stepped into an odd substance. Continuing to blindly wander through the miasma the sounds of screams, no cries echoed from within the thick cloud. "Don't worry i'll be there with haste", while she had no idea how or what awaited her upon her arrival she had to thank the gods that she found someone that may be able to answer her questions.

With a response from the originator of the cries far more than one voice echoed from the heavy fog. Making sure to timely response to the group to make it easier to locate them, she could hear confusion from the voices. Truthfully she had a hard time understanding them as well. She knew that they were speaking Karith, however, the dialect varied greatly from hers. It was less refined and lax compared to her own, almost a short form of her own speech. Finnaly reaching the group she came upon a collection of ramshackle houses build out of a wide variety of material and stacked upon one another. In the center of the buildings were the group of people and a child how seemed to be in pain. While it was easy to tell that the people in question were from Karith, however no doubt to the vast amount of polution many of them had deformities or suffered from a wide amount of health issues. Raising her hands and casting a cure spell, "I'm here to help". The fact that she was able to cast any sort of divine magic was a shock to her, but what was more shocking was the pain coursing through her body. It felt as if her bones were exposed to air and as it the very marrow would tear right through her body. Quickly moving to the child to cure him, thankfully whatever ailed him was not magical as she could only imagine the pain that a higher level divine spell would cause her. Relief washed over her as she released the spell. Seating herself after the pain of casting a spell that she used to have no issues casting in her living body. Looking over to see who mostly was the father hug his newly cured son, while the group thanked well at least she think they thanked her it was only a temporary fix as their surroundings were the cause of the sickness.

While resting she thought back to how an undead could cast such magic, and how she would be able to lessen the pain. Clearly this was some sick joke by the gods to see what would happen if an undead could use for a moment step into the light. After cursing the gods within her mind as her main talent now countered her being she looked to the group. "How do I progress to Karith"? Only gaining confused stares as they pointed to the ground and repeated the word Karith. Sigh and laying on the ground in defeat as no one could understand her in this new world.
