The city became a bother to Leo. With the threat gone there was nothing for him to steal and sell to the next town over. So he decided to leave.
On on his way out he remembered somethings with a stern look on his face. "
What a drag" he exclaims while passing some drunk people.
When Leo reached the gate he noticed the guards are readying their bows while staring at him. Leo held up his hands as if to show he's unarmed, but he forgot about the the staff, the boomerang, and the scimitar he has. Just as he reached the gate, he noticed a demon hunter then chuckled a little. As he walked pass him he came up with an idea. "
I can follow him around and collect demon corpses and sell them" so Leo jumped into the nearby bushes and hid.

The city was becoming quite loud now that the danger had passed. Cole was not enthusiastic about joining in the party that was beginning to grow in volume. Rolling his grey eyes, the demon hunter placed his new statuette in his belt pouch and headed towards the gates of the city. He wanted to find a quick route out. There was little that was holding him there, and truthfully he was certain he was going to head back to his clan. It had been some time since he had gone back to get new orders from the elders directly.
Cole glanced up at the guards that were standing over the gate; their watchful eyes stared at him as he passed through. There was no disrespect in their gaze as they knew he had helped them with the crisis. The demon hunter bobbed his white haired head in respect before following the path out. He could only hope that the next time he stopped in the city for supplies the trip would be easier.
He turned a little sooner than the path had called for, but his steps were halted by a small fox like creature sitting in his way. White brow lifted and head tilted as he tried to figure out the origin of the creature. Its fur was the color of grey to the shade of dark coal. Large ears pointed far from its body, but what stuck out Cole was the look of grass and earth growing from the top of its head down the length of its back to the tail. Ears flicked as it waited for any kind of acknowledgement from the man in front of it.
Demon hunter knelt down and held out a hand. In that instant the entity stood up and trotted over to place a delicate paw in his palm. Upon connection Cole could sense that the creature was in fact energy instead of a born beast. “You are a surprise, my friend.” The familiar gave off a squeak and rubbed his chin along his fingers to get its chin scratched. “I take it you are sticking around with me.” Cole had heard of this happening to other hunters, but had not imagined it would ever be him. “Little Arda.”

Celebrations were well underway as the battle had come to an end. He had left the small home that protected the goddess and her new little addition to her family. In the end, things had ended up all the way that it should. There was a small blessing that his injury had been healed enough to make sure that Angela would not see it with the naked eye. The skin was still irritated beneath and began to itch enough to push him to scratch through the tunic. Music had begun to play as well as talented voices lifted to join in chorus. Kiba had no talent for music or song, so he definitively kept his mouth shut.
He moved to stand on a slight slope to watch the festivities grow. There was no helping a smile on his face as he watched hugs being exchanged between warriors that had worked hard to bring the crisis to an end. Once more he scratched his chest, knowing that he would have to find some sort of ointment later to ease the agitation.
Arms crossed over his chest in an effort to not scratch. He shifted slightly and his muscles bulged a little. This seemed to attract a female’s attention. A black beauty with red crackle lines along her leather like hide glided through the air to land upon his crossed arms. There she grabbed carefully with her talons and wrapped her long tail around his right bicep, all determination to not move from her new perch. “Well, excuse me,” he laughed. She crooned softly up at him as she blinked with blue marble like eyes. Her wings were like a combination of what you would expect of a dragon but also there were feathers.
Kiba tilted his head slightly in an effort to look at her a little closer. Instead, she buried her head into the crook of his arm and very quickly fell asleep as she took in his warmth. “I have never seen a fae dragon this close up before,” he mused allowed. “They have quite the outgoing personalities…or maybe it is just this one.” Either way, Kiba did not care. She was precious and he already was attached to the little thing. At least he would not be alone any longer while traveling.
