We have a few spells that can fit the bill for that. When seasonal rotation for the season shop comes around there is a spell that can make people dance and in spring there is an item that makes people sing uncontrollably.Author: Jadira, Posted: Tue Nov 6, 2018 12:07 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Maybe a spell to curse people with singing? So basically it would, for one day, make it's victim be forced to sing whenever the victim speaks. So instead of talking the victim would just be singing whatever they try to say.Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Tue Oct 23, 2018 8:54 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
*psssttt* use commune with beast. Mortals are considered such in some regards.Author: TristanaDeformem, Posted: Sat Oct 20, 2018 4:04 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Could there be a spell that would allow two people to speak the same language or understand the same language temporarily? It would be just common languages, nothing legendary or ancient. It also would not apply to written languages.Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Tue May 1, 2018 10:07 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
If I made a flight spell and I'm not going to it would be epic level at 1000 silver. You've been given a good list of substitutions. Good job everyone.Author: NeoPoplar234, Posted: Tue May 1, 2018 9:19 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
… and that was my biggest goal.Author: elusivephantom, Posted: Tue May 1, 2018 9:19 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
As I understand, you want to grant yourself true flight without using our winged armor and you also want to grant true flight to others, correct?Author: NeoPoplar234, Posted: Tue May 1, 2018 8:12 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I would still like to be able to make others fly, without giving away armorAuthor: Moliira, Posted: Mon Apr 30, 2018 11:40 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread

I would prefer to not have to spend thousands of silver on such small effects and as for the fly spell I was hoping for the ability to make others fly without any special armor. as for clone I was hoping to, again, do the same for others without having to spend a ridiculous amount of silver each timeAuthor: Shiloh Kyrie, Posted: Mon Apr 30, 2018 1:14 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Hello there, first I'd like to thank you for the suggestions you've made here. However after looking over several of them, many can be substituted with a bit of creativity using what we already have in the shops.Author: NeoPoplar234, Posted: Sun Apr 29, 2018 9:22 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
here are a few spells from d&d I would like to be able to buy here.Author: elusivephantom, Posted: Thu Mar 29, 2018 4:30 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Nah not blood magic. I think they're asking about something like a life-tap; use your own blood/life as fuel for the magic fire. Cast away part of your health in order to gain a deeper well of power to draw from (maybe not more powerful, but allow you to sustain the magic longer)Author: DragonTamer, Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2018 9:47 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Blood Magic, you mean? Lol. I had to make a custom item for that specifically.Author: Firesong, Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2018 12:03 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Would something like convert life/blood into mana work, or is there a good substitute for that?Author: Vinsue2, Posted: Wed Dec 20, 2017 2:18 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I would like to see a memory improvement spell.Author: Veris, Posted: Sun Sep 10, 2017 10:37 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Oh, okAuthor: CodeNat, Posted: Sat Sep 9, 2017 7:37 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Sunburst would be an appropriate substitute for a magical ball of light that follows you around but can't do anything other than light up the area. Your character could also use lightning ball or fireball to do that. All of them are very inexpensive at 15 silver each.Author: Veris, Posted: Sat Sep 9, 2017 1:29 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
How about a "candlelight" spell that makes a small ball of light. I'm thinking it should be inexpensive, since its so simple and useful.Author: CodeNat, Posted: Tue Jun 6, 2017 5:23 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Shriek technically already exists. All you'd have to do is say that your character casts concussive blast from their mouth.Author: _h0rseradish, Posted: Tue Jun 6, 2017 6:16 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Shriek: Something opposite to Siren's Song, and requiring less focus, for you basically do loud stuff in front of yourself making the potential targets want to puke their ears out. Can shatter fragile stuffs.Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Mon May 29, 2017 3:38 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
As it stands your character has the right to reflect a spell as it is but something of that nature can be very op in this setting. We knew of someone who did that back on another site and no one wanted to rp with them. It's best left a custom item because of that.Author: OzirisXP, Posted: Fri May 19, 2017 4:06 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
What about a Counterspell? Something like Dispel Magic, but you can cast it when you see someone else casting a spell to disrupt them. Considering this might be really powerful, maybe there should be two versions, like a Minor Counterspell and a Major one. About the Specfics, if you ask me that is, I think it would be an Arcane spell and cost 250+ silver pieces (Or if there's two versions, maybe a 100 sp one and a 300+ sp one).Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Mon Jul 25, 2016 1:05 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
We're actually working on a spell like that :)Author: Komorebi, Posted: Mon Jul 25, 2016 1:03 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Eagle Eyes: An Arcane spell? Allows the caster to have enhanced vision: seeing detail, farther, etcAuthor: Angela Rose, Posted: Mon Jul 25, 2016 8:46 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
We've been letting people use foresight on their own for oracle characters. So no spell really needed ;)Author: Komorebi, Posted: Mon Jul 25, 2016 3:58 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Sight of Pythia: A Psionic spell. Allows the caster to see their opponent's next move and counter however they please.Author: Paulina, Posted: Sun Jul 17, 2016 2:29 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread

Magic unlock exists in the store or it did. Should do the same thingAuthor: maffleet, Posted: Mon Jul 11, 2016 2:44 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I feel like we lack enough useless spells. So I'm gonna recommend one of my personal favorites from pathfinder. Open/close which allows someone to open and close an unlocked door or chest magically.Author: Paige Wintercrest, Posted: Sun Jul 10, 2016 10:20 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I like it. For me, it leans more towards being a psionic spell but then again I might be thinking that because it kinda reminds me of the Seven Deadly Sins from Supernatural. Particularly when Gluttony had "suggested" to the one hunter to drink Drano.Author: Dalanesca, Posted: Tue Jul 5, 2016 10:26 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I am going to second the liking of that idea!Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Mon Jul 4, 2016 1:35 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread

A family of spells called Sins of the Father: (insert deadly sin here)Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2016 10:46 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
what you are looking for is the opposite of noble sacrifice from the sounds of it :O Sub that?Author: Orion Delightus, Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2016 4:27 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
That someone in the cbox was me! I did try to find something similar-ish which had me looking at blood oath and then maybe 'curse'. The Drain I had in mind was one that takes small amounts of strength, stamina, magic from victim to caster. Of course the longer the contact and casting holds the more it takes away. I personally hope the price doesn't go over 100 silver!Author: CodeNat, Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2016 3:52 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Huh. I could have sworn I suggested this months ago and it was accepted as a new spell, but I can't seem to find where. If it was accepted, it definitely didn't get implemented. In which case, I voice my support for Drain.Author: Dalanesca, Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2016 3:18 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Hm, I was trying to come up with a proper substitute for this, but I couldn't really think of anything. Lemme ask around.Author: Hiro Kouen, Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2016 1:05 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
How about a drain-type spell? The opposite of noble sacrifice. The caster drains life force from a target, and transfers it to himself. Could call it like Drain, Drain Essence, or Vampiric Drain. (someone in cbox suggested something like this).Author: Nemu, Posted: Thu May 26, 2016 2:08 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Awesome, thank you!Author: Luthene, Posted: Thu May 26, 2016 12:01 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I think Astral Projection might accomplish this. You become ethereal, you're on the ethereal plane, close enough.Author: Nemu, Posted: Wed May 25, 2016 7:07 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I'd like to suggest a spell like 'become ethereal' where the caster goes into a spectral form that allows them to pass through certain objects and they can neither harm nor be harmed. Or, if someone could point me towards a viable substitute :)Author: CodeNat, Posted: Sun Jan 31, 2016 12:20 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Mermaid's Breath or Siren's Breath would work, in that case. :)Author: Rhea, Posted: Sat Jan 30, 2016 7:12 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Hah, it is quite alright! Also, we were talking about it and I thought we could call it Mermaid's Breath. Something different from the normal and all people would probably understand right away. We would love input on names!Author: CodeNat, Posted: Sat Jan 30, 2016 6:01 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Ah. I missed that in the lore. I thought it was meant as Ki energy like Chi.Author: Rhea, Posted: Sat Jan 30, 2016 4:59 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Actually, you suggest poseidon's breath but that is what we already have. Ki was the god of water in our lore.Author: CodeNat, Posted: Fri Jan 29, 2016 4:28 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Aquatic Respiration, Poseidon's Breath(I know, an oldie), Water Breathing(simple), Siren's Lung, etc.Author: Luthene, Posted: Fri Jan 29, 2016 11:38 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
New suggestion, then: a different name for Breath of Ki that sounds more like what the spell does. I know Breath of Ki sounds cool, but it doesn't really let the person know what it does unless they click on it.

Water breathing spell?Author: CodeNat, Posted: Wed Dec 23, 2015 4:55 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I'm talking more like wards rather than preventing someone from casting or capturing their spells - though I would like to see that as well. :)Author: Rhea, Posted: Wed Dec 23, 2015 3:49 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Hmm, another interesting idea! We don't have anything to temporarily trap magic.n other spells that mess with the mind or body can work to do achieve it in a way. Make it hard for them to use their magic in general.Author: CodeNat, Posted: Wed Dec 23, 2015 6:21 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Another idea I thought of when I should be sleeping is Elemental Trap. We have elemental arrows now, but not really any spells or items that would constitute a trap of elemental magic that you can set and wait for people to set off.Author: Rhea, Posted: Wed Dec 23, 2015 4:51 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Actually, we would most likely not be changing the price of a spell much if we make it for all elements. I do like the idea and I will bring it up when we work on those spells. We are going to be looking through all our arcane spells (all of our spells actually) later. We could easily craft up a spell like that but say you could only use one element at a time but have it open for all types of element. It is worth looking into!Author: CodeNat, Posted: Tue Dec 22, 2015 6:48 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Considering that both spells cost 75 silver, I anticipate the cap on a price shift would be 150 silver. We're also already having to sub these spells for other breaths, so people would have to buy a breath spell to sub for whatever they wanted either way. My idea centers around combining these spells and keeping the new spell in the 75-100 silver range just so we eliminate an extra spell that people will use for a sub anyway. It also eliminates confusion on which breath we need to sub for which element.Author: Xallithelid, Posted: Tue Dec 22, 2015 9:29 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
That is a good idea, but, the only problem i can see with it is… well everyone would have to buy it in order to get what they want. Lets say, i want mint breath. i am going to have to buy it for like two hundred silver (Because the price would shift) instead of getting ice breath and subbing.Author: CodeNat, Posted: Tue Dec 22, 2015 2:29 AM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
I've been thinking about breath spells and how it would be simpler to combine fire breath and ice breath into elemental breath. This would allow players to buy one spell that could give them ice breath, fire breath, lightning breath, earth breath(probably sand breath for IC purposes) or air breath(really just a gust of wind). It's something that could be taken into account during spell reorganization, at least.Author: Xallithelid, Posted: Mon Dec 14, 2015 10:03 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
PS, no this isn't a ploy to make some… lonely people proud, i just want tentacles for violent reasons. Not any other, i swear on everything i hold near and deer to my heart. Like the knife protruding out of my chest. Its very deer to me because it has a handle made out of antler. Also, antler is a communist leader of the ant people, who revere him for his amazing antics. Im going to sleep now.Author: Xallithelid, Posted: Mon Dec 14, 2015 10:00 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Can i get a choking tentacle spell thing? i've been subbing my tentacular tentaculations with strangle but its not the same as nether tentacle :PAuthor: Dalanesca, Posted: Fri Dec 4, 2015 10:06 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Reorganization is still ongoing, but I'll bring your suggestion to the Item Committee. Thanks !Author: CodeNat, Posted: Fri Dec 4, 2015 9:23 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
Not sure if the spell reorganization is still going on, but a spell of Disgust to balance out Charm would be nice. You could make it targetable so a spellcaster could make a specific person less appealing to those around them.Author: Dalanesca, Posted: Thu Dec 3, 2015 3:58 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread

Maybe something like an acid breath, or acid blast/orb. Unleashes a cone of caustic acid. It could be an earthen spell.Author: Angela Rose, Posted: Tue Aug 4, 2015 2:18 PM, Post Subject: Official Spell Suggestion Thread
