The time was soon coming for the return of their parents, which Esme knew but her older brother did not. For all he knew, this was simply just another day he could live on in infamy as he usually did as he entertained himself by reading an anthology of short poems to Paulina. Everything else was going about as normal as well; Georgia was with her tutor this morning and Esme would have some errands to run off to when noon approached. One of the servants came into her office and handed her the daily mail. Flipping through various letters, one of them towards the end caught her eye. It carried a seal with a wolf's head and what appeared to be a stag's antler in its maw.

A smile crept up on her face once she recognized whose house it was.

A minute later, she knocked on the door and waited for it to be safe before coming into Gabe's room. She did not want to walk into anything that they could be doing aside from reading. "Oh Gabe, guess who sent you this…" She waved it back and forth at him before he got up and snatched it away. The moment he looked at the seal, his face turned pale. "I wonder what Amelia wants from you this time." She looked to Paulina, "She's old friends with Gabriel. I believe they had even courted before." Oh she knew what was going to happen, but it was always entertaining to see her brother punished for his past actions.

"Now Paulina…", he started, not wanting to see her angry. The household knew what was to come when that happened, although it was at the point that it was commonplace and no one would stop her from punishing him.
