The wind howls. The leaves blow. The branches creak. The sun shines. But there was not one bird chirping. Not one animal growling. Not one sound from any animal.

The tree creaks, as if some imaginary weight has weighed it down. Something in face was weighing it down. A giant serpent, about 50 feet long her scales a shade of green, to blend in with the tree's, a strip of orange fur down the center of her shape, long fur-covered whiskers, and a bright red tongue. Her whole head, about as big as a horse. She stretched her scaly body across many tree's, breathing slowly.

As the snake dosed, and unexpected elk managed to snap a twig under her hoof. The snakes eyes opened. A flash of yellow, and sudden burst of movement, and blood was splattered apon tree's, bushes, and the ground. The elk was gone. The snake was wide awake, and blood was splattered across her mouth. She retreated back into the tree's, to finish her nap.

The reaches of her body through the canopy are unknown, but she as well gets lost in her body. Letting some parts sag out of the tree, visible to all who wandered…or hunted… through her napping area. As the tip of her tail slipped out of a tree, it landed beside an suspected hunter…
