Another long day came and went and now Adrian found himself back in the tavern to kick back, relax and find himself a good drink or two. His mood was rather nice for the time, probably because of the Ignius air; this was his favorite season for that reason and so much more. The usually strict and callous young man found his calming mood growing more once he had it to the bar and was greeted by a savory bottle of rosé wine complemented with a glass just for him. Pursuing his sisters was becoming a daily task for him and roughing up those unfortunate to try and take advantage of them (mainly due to their looks but some knew of how powerful their bloodline was too), but it was a task that Father had instructed onto him and he would comply. Still, he would give credit where it was due- quite a few of these fellows were creative with where they would take them or try and convince him of their “love” once they were caught.

For Adrian, he was indifferent to the situation, but orders were orders. It wasn’t like he wanted to hurt his sisters, but rather protect them from people that held dark desires in their hearts.

Like him.

Being the only son, he was instructed that it was his responsibility to see that his siblings were still pure before they found suitable mates. Pure, what a laughable word. He chuckled amongst himself as he took hold of the wine and poured it nicely into the glass. Its amora tickled his nose as he brought it up to his lips and lightly sipped at the lovely liquid. Nice and smooth, just how he liked it. Lightly smacking his lips, he brought it back for a second round. After a few moments, the contents were drained and off he was again, filling it up to the brim.

Perhaps once he had finished this bottle, he would seek out a game of cards to sate his boredom, or perhaps seek out some more refined entertainment that typically paraded the night. Who knows?

A woman with hair like snow and amber eyes stepped into the tavern. She was wearing a purple corset with a pair of black pants along with a satchel swung around her shoulder. She scanned the tavern, looking for the man she was to meet. Once she spotted him she walked through the tavern over to him and sat down at the small table in the corner. The man she was meeting had long red hair and a green bag on the table. 

"Are my debts paid, miss Caroline?" The man asked her. 

"Yes." She said picking up the bag and putting it in her satchel. 

Caroline stood up and moved closer to the man and whispered something in his ear. His eyes grew wide in terror but he didn't reply. She went to the bar to get a drink. The second she walked away from the man, he bolted out of his seat and ran out of the tavern. Caroline smiled to herself. The tavern seemed to be a pleasant place and was decent enough of a place to spend her time. 

"A glass of sweet red wine please." She ordered. 

While she was waiting for her drink, she listened to the music the minstrel played and observed the tavern's atmosphere. There were many people kicking back and enjoying themselves. Caroline didn't blame them. Breaks from working proved to be helpful to the overall health of a person. She wrote a short book on the subject along with additional ways to keep self-care up. Not that many of the locals in most places could read it. Reading and writing seemed to be a skill that only applied to those who could afford learning it. Her eyes stopped at Adrian, since he stood out from the rest of the crowd. He seemed to be fit and had an aura of danger around him. She observed him for a while, looking him up and down before speaking. 

"I'm assuming you are some sort of fighter." She said to Adrian, "I'm going to guess that you're experienced in using a dagger or a light sword. Am I correct?"
