It didn’t take long for the fight to start after Uriel snapped the one man’s neck and let him drop in front of her. Two moved in quickly with daggers now drawn and started to swing at the angel, who either side stepped the blades or used her gauntlet covered forearms to deflect the short bladed weapons. When one of them closed in again with a wild swing of his blade, Uriel grabbed him by the wrist and twisted at the same time catching the second man with a surprise kicked to his right thigh sending him back.

The one that Uriel held tried to fight back against her, but she proved stronger and already had him at a disadvantage. She twisted his wrist some more before using her free hand to drive it into the back of his elbow. He screamed as his elbow was shattered and the bone erupted from his skin as what was left of his elbow bent in the wrong direction. As he went to the ground Uriel drove three hard punches into his face to totally knock him out.

As she did that the attacker she had kicked had recovered and came at her again, but made the mistake of nudging her wing which alerted her. She flicked her large and strong wing at him and batted at him while another assailant joined the fight with a short sword. As he came closer Uriel reached out with her gauntlets and the gems on them glowed as the man was pulled forward. Her gauntlets, a reluctantly accepted gift from Sirona, were able to push and pull people and objects by manipulating their weight. Take by surprise he stumbled right into Uriel’s reach who connected a few fast shots into his chest, while using her wings to keep the one behind her at bay.

She was holding her own and it was clear that she could take them all on her own. She’d tire, but given her long life and experience, Uriel knew how to pace herself and only use the most energy when it was necessary. These chumps didn’t require her full attention solo, but she was being a little more careful because they did have her in numbers.

Fascinating. Genesis had spotted the nine menu leaving Adeluna shortly after she separated from Elwin, chasing after something she couldn't quite make out in the sky above. The men had strong and sturdy mounts, beasts she had come to know were called "horses" in the common tongues with the ability to traverse greater distances than most others could in a day. Learning what might give these creatures such notable stamina alone had almost given the chimera cause to salivate, let alone the experience of new flavors. The excitement drove her to revert to her beast-shape in an effort to keep up, with little warning to her new companion before her departure. Genesis had no doubt they would encounter one another soon enough, of course - the kind man had offered her food, and the lack of will that began its spread throughout the city had turned it into a veritable paradise of free food ready for harvest, but this … the thrill of the hunt always filled Genesis with such vigor, far more than absent-minded prey simply waiting to die.

Days came and went. At times Genesis would fall behind - rocky terrain, dangerous precipices, and the many dangers of extended travel through the wilds were all common obstacles - but fortunately, the trackers had the same difficulties, keeping them from getting too far ahead. It was often enough that Genesis could typically regain lost ground in the evening hours when they rested and made camp, following the musky, acrid scent of their horses through the wilderness. So honed was the chimera's focus she paid little mind to the gradual shift into more structured environs, the remnants of a society long lost to time coming and going as she rushed past. The entire time, her heart raced with adrenaline, driving her on; her hunger, growing stronger with each passing day only served to excite her further for the moment she would take her prizes.

And thus, it finally came. The unwitting prey finally stopped long enough for Genesis to arrive, finding the horses completely unattended. Tied to nearby trees and unable to escape. Easy kills, but still alive and very much willing to live. There would at least be some kind of struggle, unlike the humans back in the city. Predatory claws dug into the soil, barbed tendrils waving from her back, ready to strike, but just as she readied to pounce … the men's voices were raised. Another voice, a commanding yet still vaguely feminine in response. An argument. Perhaps another opportunity to dispatch those with a more apparent threat.

The chimera crawls forward silently, careful not to make a sound as she weaved between the trees, closing the distance. Their words became more clear, their scents more distinct, blended with that of another. Perhaps the thing they had hunted? The group comes into view. The argument seems to be escalating between the men and … a winged human? She was enormous. Powerfully built. A shiver ran down the length of Genesis's spine. Even just a bite of that flesh … Genesis could do wonders with those adaptations. Strong. Durable. Perhaps an answer to her inability to adapt flight until now. But Genesis knew just looking she would never win this fight fresh with so many unknown variables. She needed to soften things up.

Genesis kneels down and unhinges her jaw, scooping loose soil into her mouth. Fluids fill her gullet and mix with the material to make mud, and in a decisive moment expels the mass of earth at the nearest man's back, knocking him into the woman, and in an instant, the fight exploded - and ended poorly for the man. The others were poised, not quite ready to start it seemed, but still ready as their comrade's remains twitched lifelessly on the ground. Gathering up another ball of mud, Genesis spit again, knocking the one who looked most ready to fight forward. Get the battle started. Wear them down. And whoever was left … well, Genesis was tired, but not entirely exhausted enough to be counted out of a possible victory at that point.

[OOC: Uriel swears, like, a lot lol you have been warned :P ]

It has been over a week now that she had been in Adeluna city earing coin by fighting in the boxing rings. Most of them legal, some of them not so much, but, regardless the nearly seven foot tall woman had won all of her bouts in that time, to the point where no one was willing to fight her. Which was why she was leaving this city and heading for another location to fight in. It wasn’t that Uriel enjoyed this way of earning money, she was more upset about having no purpose in life. In her past her purpose was whatever mission her brother had given her, but he was who knows where at the moment and hadn’t wanted Uriel along.

Uriel hated this world, she wanted to be back home, but had been sent here after starting a war. Worse yet some of her other siblings, all of them she hated, were here as well, and to top that off now her little sister was also a Goddess! Uriel didn’t care how much good Sirona was doing around the lands, in the archangel’s eyes it was blasphemy that a simple angel, let alone Sirona, become a Goddess!

Uriel had started out boxing to make money because at that time she had arrived in these lands with nothing, not even clothing. A kind young man had given her some, but she had earned the coin to buy better fitting clothing, with some help, and eventually armour. Now Uriel used the boxing as a way to vent her consistent rage, just her general constantly bubbling rage and anything else added in from outside influences.

The tall archangel was flying over the treetops when she decided to land and get something to drink from what looked like a clean spring below and fill her water canteen. Also she was being followed from the ground since she had left the city and was now annoyed enough to put an end to this. Landing on the ground Uriel filled her canteen from the cool spring and took a long gulp before she turned around to face those who had been following her.

From the trees stepped out about nine well built beings of varying races, all of them she mildly recognized. ”What the fuck do you fuckers want?” Uriel growled as she took another gulp of the water cocking her hips to one side and watching them.

”We’re tired of you winning, bitch, we want you out of the ring for good. So we’re here to teach you a lesson.” One of them side and rather large and muscular human male who stepped forward as he spoke.

Uriel’s face got angry… angrier, somehow, she was always angry. ”So, let me get this straight. Because I win so much again you pathetic fuckers, you decided to follow me out of the city to, what? Kill me? Beat me up and make me scared to get in a ring again?” She made a fake quivering of her wings. ”Ohhh, I’m sooooo sacred!” She mocked.

The human started walking closer to Uriel, but as big as he was he still had to look up archangel. ”Listen, bitch, we were just planning on beating you down, maybe take a few extras from you, but if you wanna die then…!” He was cut off as he was suddenly pulled forward towards Uriel by some unseen force.

As he got into range Uriel drove a fist into his face, breaking some teeth and connected a quick second punch that shattered his nose. Bloodied he tried to stagger away but he was too slow to get out of Uriel long reach when Uriel had his hands on his neck and cleanly snapped his head. He dropped down in a heap in front of her and looked back to the terrified and now rage filled looks from his allies. ”If you’re going to threaten someone with death, be prepared for it yourself, you fucking morons. Now, who’s next?”
