She was putting her hunting and tracking skills to use now!

An arrow whizzed through the evening sky as found its mark in the head of one of the poor mindless people who were wondering the streets. The zombie groaned dropped to the ground spasming for a few moments before going limp. ”One more down.” The archer sighed as she watched from her roof top perch the streets below. The red headed young woman was trying to help the reapers track the black mage who had tampered with the Luxurium. The trail was mighty difficult to follow thanks to his fellow mages covering his tracks, but Cassandra was keeping a few paces behind them.

That was what had brought her too Adeluna from Vilpamolan, as far as she could tell the mage’s trail led to Adeluna from the pirate city. Cassandra had gotten herself on the roof tops, away from some of carnage below but taking the odd shot at something down below. She did want to help more people, but she knew the best way to help was to find the mage and throttle the cure out of him, or take him to Serafina and let her deal with him.

But, while she stalked the roof tops the lycan could at least keep an eye out for anyone in need of assistance and do what she could quickly. That zombie had been chasing someone and they had managed to get away for now, it was the least that Cassandra could do. ”This is going to be a hell of a mess to clean up when it’s all said and done.” Cassandra sighed to herself as she moved to the next rooftop with her bow and arrows, and under her cape, a decent collection of various daggers.

This was going to be a long night.

"There's no end to this." Shiloh gasped, back pressed up against a chimney. In less than a week almost every major city had gone belly-up in the wave of madness that hit. Sularia was fine and so was Nisshoki–so at least her family was alright. But if this kept up, trade would be seriously affected and these cities might face a socioeconomic collapse. At this point it was too late to quarantine the affected, so that left her with one other option: damage control. There was nothing she could do about those who had already fallen under Luxurium's curse, but she could at least stop their numbers from increasing. And that meant getting rid of the wine. It was too dangerous to dump it out onto the streets; that would run the risk of animals accidentally ingesting the remains. The most she could do would be to confiscate the bottles and prevent access. Fortunately the supply of the cursed wine was limited, and she was sure Serafina wouldn't be sending out more. Shiloh knew it wasn't her fault, but this was why the world couldn't have nice things–even if it came in the form of drug-laced alcohol.

Her 'heist' was practically a suicide mission. Finding the bottles was one thing, but doing that when the streets were swarming with people who were deranged was another. She had to be extremely careful or they'd tear her apart. She could try and neutralize them, but their sheer numbers meant that would be a waste of time. Better to save her strength and track the remaining Luxurium down. In the dark of night, a skulking figure lurked about the rooftops, slipping and out of shadows cast by the light of the moons. Her disguise was more like camouflage to better blend in with the buildings, her plain featureless clay mask being the only thing that stood out. The hood of her cloak was pulled up to conceal that though, and the mask was more like minor face protection than to hide her identity. Her eyes spied one of Adeluna's many taverns in the commercial part of the city. Everything was quiet now, but there were mindless lunatics hanging around. The obvious points of entry were the windows and front door, not even a chimney or a second story to slide down. This was going to be rough.

"This is going to be a pain in the neck…Time to make myself a distraction." Pulling out a bottle of ordinary wine, she lobbed it in the opposite direction of the tavern door. The sound of glass shattering against the pavement drew the attention of several cursed people as they rushed towards it, leaving the door unguarded. With a strong gust of wind she propelled herself across the gap to tumble onto the tavern's roof. With her stomach close the roof tiles and crawling on all fours, Shiloh crept towards the edge above the door and had a shadowy limb emerge from the ground to get it open. Her paranoia was helping in advising her against going in immediately–there could be more of those bloodthirsty people inside after all. But her extremely cautious behavior made her look incredibly suspicious to anyone who wasn't under the drugged alcohol's influence.

"When all else fails, move on to plan B. And when that plan fails, move on to the next plan."
