Gods knew just how long he had been out here, but at the very least he was still among the land of the living. He had to scrape by and only occasionally was able to sink his fangs into some wayward camper or traveler. But Logan had to keep on going, his vengeance needed to be sated. Against his former housemates and now, that wretched lady-fae had made that small but meaningful list of his. Despite her name not being known, Logan knew that he would remember her face the next time they met, and he would deliver onto her his promise. Aside from the clothes on his back (which he had killed for and stolen), his name, and that hitlist, it was all he had in this world. It was all that kept him going.
The evening was coming in about an hour, and Logan was sound asleep in a corner that sat away from the sun's rays. He dreamt of the very same dream that plagued him every once in a while. Of him trapped in a prism in the shape of a pyramid while the rest of the world went by without him. Only things took place as if Andrea hadn't died that faithful night. No, their family remained in power over their territories and started to expand their rule. He could see Nemesis rising up to the head of the Augustus family and Andrea by his side as the doting wife. A happy tale for the duo and even Reaver stood by his side. All of them were so happy and yet he was trapped in his own personal hell. No matter how much he banged his fists against it, the glass wouldn't yield and the only results would be his hands were a bloody mess and his shouts fell upon deaf ears.
He was startled and shot up just as the darkness blanketed the woods. His eyes flashed open and he attempted to pull himself together. Wasn't cruel enough to learn that the only other person he had actually cared for other than himself was gone, but fate continued to torment him even in his mind? Logan rushed right up and tore at anything he could get his hands on. Any scraps of things he salvaged from the woods and the lake were tossed about, flipped, or shattered by him until he got a grip on his rage.
He cracked his fingers, one at a time until he managed to calm down enough. Perhaps some food would do his mind some good. The vampire grumbled a bit before he left his hideout and started to walk about the area. His best bet was to head to the lake where many came to visit it. Hopefully, he would catch a person and not some pesky animal. Their blood wasn't as alluring as humans. But even that paled in comparison to how that fae had tasted against his tongue. Even as he made his way to the large lake, he remained low enough to keep himself from being visible to his prey.
Now he just needed some prey to feast upon.

Another person to track her down. Her mother was the first and he was the most recent, with others in between. He claimed that he would hunt down her scent until the end of time and a part of her felt incredibly flattered. Few people had shown THAT much of a dedication to hunting her down. A smile formed on her lips as she realized, she'd affected him. In a way she was able to affect him in a way that few others would be able to repeat. Her mark was made on his story. But then again, all of this could be a bluff. Most likely he would forget about her by next moon. But she would not forget about him.
"Such a bittersweet memory." She whispered to herself as she entered the forest, leaving him at the lake,
"And that golden woman….I think I'll start with her." Her body morphed and shifted, lowering down into the shape of an owl with bright white feathers. She began to flap her wings and soared into the air. The last bit of her magic to be used on turning into a predator. She soared in the opposite direction of Logan, towards a place she knew very well. If he truly was planning on tracking her, then it would be easy to find him again when she was finished. The wind blew gently across her feathered face as she looked towards the blue sky and the sun slowly lowering. The day had been a magnificent, dangerous, and productive, all things she deeply wished for.

I wonder when I can get my paintbrushes in order. I'll have to head back to Adeluna for them when I'm ready-She gave out a hooting call to all the creatures down below and to any other creature that might hear it.

It felt disgusting having to tell his most inner secret to a complete stranger. Especially one that had invaded his mind without permission; even if in a way, he had done a similar thing with her blood. As far as he was concerned, this "trade" wasn't equal- she had gained much more than he ever had in their exchange of sorts, but he was above bickering about such details at a time like this. Did he yearn for her still? Certainly. But would he mourn over her death? No, what was done was done but the memories themselves were the thing that hurt him and yet kept him alive for the time being. He would live as she had wanted him and that was that. His focus tore away from the bitter tale and back into the present where it truly mattered. He had a fae capable of quite the amount of feats and he was outgunned. Though he was far from wanting to admit that.
The woman claimed that what he had given her was suffice enough, and she kept her true emotions (if she had any) afar from the look on her face. Still, he hadn't dropped his intention of making her pay for her crimes, justified or not. Vengeance was why he remained in this world and it wouldn't be given up so easily. Perhaps not now, but later that he would partake in making her pay.
"React?" His brows lowered as he tried to fathom what on earth she would do to him next. He wouldn't stupid to think that she hadn't come here for a reason- perhaps it was home or close enough to it for her to have the advantage of knowing this region, wherever they were currently. Nonetheless, he wouldn't yield to her yet.
Logan started to move out of the water, both himself and his clothes drenched. And yet he remained at the edge, standing there as she walked off.
"Hear this, the next time we do meet, you will know my reaction. My hunt has been postponed, but as long as I remain on this earth, I will track your scent down until the end of time." A toothy grin overcame him as he himself moved into the forest in an opposing different from hers. It didn't matter the length of time to him - days and weeks, or months and years, he would find her at some point. But until then, he had to start from scratch all over again.
A place to hide from the sunlight and sustenance and feeding. With the former, he was able to find an abandoned outpost from long ago, judging on the weathered exterior and that vegetation was making itself at home there. The latter was whatever creatures he could get his hands on, and gods knew how long he would have to fend like this while he did look for clues as to where he resided. Time was never an issue for him, so the fact that a great deal had passed was nothing to him as he lite the fire inside his new home one early evening. He was left with the silence save for the cracking of the flames in the fireplace. In a few hours, he would carry on hunting for something, anything to bring down and feed off. But until then, he enjoyed the solitude of the outpost.

His story seemed true enough to Ciara. There was always the risk he was lying but this version of the story was more appealing than the old possessive stalker tale. But her mind had been caught up in the tale. Now she knew how things ended, she could properly frame any future artwork she made of it. His old flame had tried to wrestle the dagger away from him and ended up with it killing her. A tragic story of a one sided love that ended with a death. Once his tale was done, he mentioned how they were predator and prey. It was clear he still was shaken up by her trickery and was unaware of what she had left. One spell. That was all she had. But she couldn't let him find that out. Ciara ringed out her long blue hair into the lake and appeared to be extremely calm, despite the fact anybody else would be scared in this situation.
"My curiosity is full." She said dropping her hair and moving onto her dress, trying to get the water out of it as much as possible.
Once she was done, she looked back up to Logan. The fae woman didn't offer condolences or sympathy for what happened. She knew what it was like to experience pity for dead lovers. It was annoying as that wasn't what she needed. In fact Ciara didn't even mention a single thing. Words would do nothing in this situation. Death and sorrow were not things that could be waved away through words. Neither was anger.
"I have a feeling we'll meet again." Ciara said, "And when we do, it'll be very interesting to see how you react."
She began to walk towards the forest, hoping that her confidence would be enough to make him give up on the hunt.

He couldn't spot that damn woman no matter how much he searched for her. Where in the nine hells did she take him? He knew that they were no longer in Adeluna, but to no extent did he know just how far they had traveled. His rage was still evident even while he was trying to calm down. If he had any way into getting his hands on her, he would have to use the right bait, even if it was one that he disliked the most. Once the words slipped from his mouth, he heard her call out to him.
She was hooked; the vampire felt annoyed that even with her life in danger, she would want to hear his tragic tale above all else. He slowly approached the edge of the water but remained in it. She was smart to keep away from him, but he needed just one moment of weakness and then he would overtake her.
"As I swear on the only thing I own- my name, I had caused her demise. Think of me as a killer for I am, but her death was one that I hadn't wanted." His eyes returned to their light brown color and he sighed. "The truth is a simple one- on the night of her death, it was I that was meant to die." He couldn't bear to continue on with a dull life where he could never have her and so the choice was rather easy for him. He had tainted his dagger in dead man's blood and was poised to plunge it into his heart. The only problem had been that Andrea had stumbled onto him in the midst of his actions and fought with him to claim the dagger. They struggled and the blade ended up in her. Being the type of person he was, he was blamed by the rest of the House- especially her dreadful lover.
"She had been too stupid to wrestle the dagger, my death away from me. She was the one person that I wouldn't have killed. Anyone else? I honestly couldn't give a damn. But not her. Not her." His demons caught up with him, not that it mattered. Eventually, he would recover and sleep well like he typically did. What was done was done and she wouldn't return. Even if she could, she would never seek him out as he'd hope.
"Whether you believe me or not is irrelevant. Right now, we are predator and prey, though I will admit that I do not know which of us is which, fae woman." He knew nothing of her limits; as far as he knew, she had plenty of tricks left. Heaven knew what she would pull off next. But he couldn't exactly let her live, not when she had been the only one he had spoken the truth to.
"Does that feed your curiosity or is there more that you want from my tale?", he spoke through gritted teeth.

While Logan was angrily splashing around, Ciara had been hiding in the waters of the lake. She swam away from him and towards the opposite side of the lake. Her blue hair and pale skin made it difficult to spot her in the waters. Eventually she managed to reach ground pulled herself out, keeping her eyes on him as much as possible. The cloak she wore earlier had fallen off and was sinking somewhere in the lake. Just as the fae was about to leave and avoid capture, he heard his beginning of an explanation. As much as her senses told her to run, she couldn't leave yet. Her curiosity was far stronger. The fae woman had to know.
"Go on." She loudly said.
He was a good distance away. If he tried anything she could run into the forest. Her dress was red and wasn't good for camouflage but she had another trick up her sleeve if she could gain back some lost energy. On a different day with different troubles, she would have looked for some sort of animal to consume. But she needed energy now. Placing her palm on a large tree, she drained some of its energy. But only a certain amount, an emergency amount of mana in case he attacked. It was only enough to cast one more spell. The draining of energy would only work once a day, so she wouldn't be able to do this again if she got herself into more trouble. The tree wouldn't be terribly hurt by it either, as trees had a lot of energy to spare and could gain it back from the sun.
She then stood there, listening to Logan's side of the story, wondering if he was actually telling the truth or if he was trying to rid himself of guilt. Either way, it was clear he was trying to use the story to stall her. Ciara was aware of that but she was staying to listen. If Logan came closer, she would back up and maintain the same distance between them. His anger at her actions still lingered. There was no way he wasn't planning on strangling or some other way of killing her.

He hated this feeling of helplessness as he was forced to relived memories deeply buried in the recesses of his mind. He hated having to see her as far from him as she always was, just out of reach. He
hated seeing Nemesis get her in the end and what came afterward. His happy ending was stolen, so he took matters into his own hands years later, which set a course of hatred between the two men. Whatever this mysterious woman had done, she didn't know of the hell that she had unleashed onto herself once he was able to break free. If Logan could have his way, she would be torn asunder until absolutely nothing was left and even the rats and crows would mourn her demise at his hand.
The fact that she explained so matter of factly like the whole ordeal hadn't had mattered was what pissed him off even further. His eyes turned pitch black as he glared on, thinking solely on one thing- her destruction. Unfortunately, the fae was full of surprises; much like how she fooled him into believing she would be a victim, she would stall enough to make an escape just as he was about to reply to the accusation of Andrea's fate yet to be seen.
He was about to grab hold onto her as she fell through a portal of sorts and reluctant to let her go scot-free, Logan swiftly followed before the portal vanished. He managed to fall through the portal and onto the other side where a lake was there to greet him.
"Wh…where am I?", he spat as he got up onto his hands and knees. His head constantly turning about, looking for any sign of the vixen.
"Where the hell are you, fae? I'm not finished with you yet…" His anger died down just a bit as he tried to calm himself; he couldn't underestimate her any further, not when she's made a fool of him twice now. He would have to go about this in a different manner if he wanted his hands around her throat.
"You want to know what happened to her? She died alright and the blame is absolutely on me." But it didn't quite play out like what the surviving members of the House believed it to be. The knife drenched in dead man's blood was his, and it had ended up in her heart, but there were more details to the story.

Ciara closed her eyes as she began to see his memory in clear detail. There was a beautiful brunette whom had captured his heart but had chosen someone else. He saw her as a golden women, someone so beautiful and so wonderful that his heart still beat for her. It was a lovely memory that contained a peaceful calm that could barely be described in words. Every detail, from birds chirping in the courtyard to the beautiful weather was recorded down in that memory. But it was the emotions he felt in that memory that was the real treat. Soon anger began to wash away all the details and Ciara quickly backed away, leaving his brain alone. He was understandably angry but Ciara didn't show much concern.
"I just took a peak inside that pretty little head of yours." Ciara explained, "One of the unfortunate side affects is people like you reliving that memory."
She was taking small steps towards the brick wall. Fighting him would be dangerous and stupid. He was stronger than her and was probably strong in magic. Her own magic was feeling a bit drained and she knew direct fighting would spell out her doom. As much as she adored adrenaline rushes, she didn't exactly want to die from this. Her eyes were still violet and her hands were behind her back.
"Let me go out on a whim here. Is she dead? That beautiful woman?" She asked, "If you'd given up on her, well you would have moved on. But there's still anger to that moment and I wonder if that means you ended it yourself."
She placed her hand on the brick wall behind her. In a flash, a portal opened up and she let herself fall through it, leaving little time for Logan to follow. There was a chance he would be able to jump into the portal, if he wanted to and if he was able to catch up. The other side of the portal had opened up in the air and beneath was a pretty little lake. One of the most famous lakes around.

Everything seemed just so perfect; his victim unwillingly had him taken her into an abandoned site, unaware of what he truly was. The look on her face when he showed his true colors was ever priceless to him. It would be a memory that he'd cherish for the remainder of the night, but even that wouldn't be as much as when he descended upon the lovely maiden and his fangs found their mark in her nigh flawless skin. And his efforts were paid off the moment her blood fell onto his mouth; it was heavenly sweet and he moaned in the ecstasy. In all his recollection, Logan couldn't recall a time when he had the pleasure of feeding off blood like this. Before long, he felt as though he couldn't stop draining the woman, not that he minded it as he wasn't going to do so anyway. His mind grew cloudy without him noticing the change and he barely paid attention when she spoke up.
However, he noticed the vines that entangled themselves onto him and pulled him away from his meal and onto the opposing wall. The vampire hissed and struggled as he wanted more of her blood and the haze was slowly lifting itself from his being. Unneeded heavy breaths rose and fell from his body and the vampire snapped out of it but struggled all the same.
"The hell is this?!" The tone he carried as a gentleman prior left him; his accent on the other hand had been quite true. The same couldn't be said for his companion as he noticed the difference now.
"Fae?" He had heard of such a race but never came into contact with one until now. Of course, if something was too good to be true, then…
He had been fooled. That thought alone made him hiss at her again; no one was to make
him look so foolish without consequences. Her damned vines, however, seemed too strong for him to break.
"Release me this moment, fae!" His anger was written visibly on his face and yet she did no such thing. In fact, she went on about taking payment from him and he hadn't the slightest clue as to what she was speaking of.
The whisper triggered a moment in his long life that revealed itself without his permission- one that found himself greeted by that of an angel. He had been a member of the Augustus House for a decade back then and he had spotted the latest recruit in Andrea. A slender brunette that had just come into terms with what she had become- the only survivor of a raid commenced a few moons ago. He spotted her alone in the gardens of the courtyard and watched her from afar in awe. He was stricken but couldn't come up with a way to address her. He himself couldn't understand an emotion never truly experienced before like this. Logan would eventually see that another man would meet with her, the bane of his existence, and the one that would eventually win her over. The happy thought dimmed, the colors that accompanied it faded into black and white as his anger increased. Having to witness this all over again for some cruel, sick torture fueled his efforts enough to start breaking free from the vines. With a thunderous roar, he tore at the binding until he was no longer captive. Closed fists tightened to the point where his nails were squeezed against the palms, drawing tiny rivers of blood.
"What…did…you…do?", he barked at her, clearly with the intention of asking once before she would feel his rage.

A traveler? And a lover of new experiences? Fascinating. Her own desire for travel was born from a powerful need to see everything with her own eyes. His hand had ventured to her back as he guided her into the alleyway. Ciara pretended not to notice, keeping her eyes on him. In her peripheral vision she could see a few details of the alleyway. A dark brown thick vines that grew underneath and up the old brick building, a couple of crates and a barrel were the only noticeable items. She could feel the life persisting in the old weed and could feel its strength. Suddenly, he flashed his teeth and her eyes widened in surprise. She was not expecting a vampire, though she had dealt with them before. She maintained a look of shock though her heart was delighted. When he released her, he began circling around her then began pushing her up against the wall. The fae was trapped and adrenaline was pulsing through her body. It was pure bliss.
A gasp escaped her lips as he plunged his teeth into her neck. Pretending to be a scared lamb was terrible difficult to keep up but now he'd taken a bite, it mattered less. The thing about fae blood was that it was very similar to fae food. The addiction, deliciousness, and magic of their edibles translated to their blood. She had a steady diet of fae wine helped make it more addicting. For humans, they were easy prey. Vampires would have a tiny bit more resistant but only a fae or half fae would be invulnerable. Soon, she had decided he'd had enough. She had allowed him to take something, now she wanted payment.
"That's enough darling." Ciara said dropping the accent.
The moment she spoke, the brown vines across from them leapt off the wall and wound around Logan. His arms, legs, and waste would be tangled in the vines and pulled back to the brick wall. Ciara, recovering from the blood drainage, cleaned herself with a handkerchief she'd hidden in her chest region. Her eyes snapped to Logan but her lips wore a sweet little smile. She took steps towards him, checking that the vines would hold steady.
"Don't you know the fae don't like being stolen from?" She said in her melodic voice, "I have a payment in mind. Shhhh, its going to be alright. I'm not going to take anything. You just might experience some….discomfort."
The fae woman reached towards his head, gently stroking her hand through his hair. Recently the fae had been missing the desire to work in the arts. Whenever she had missed that desire, she reached out to the world for that inspiration, whether they were willing to give it or not. She touched his forehead and whispered softly into his ear, telling him to think of his happiest moment. Her eyes turned a shade of violet as magic flowed through her body and opened up his mind to her. Ciara searched, looking for that happy memory she gently suggested. Even just mentioning it could subconsciously bring it up.
"Please don't hide anything from me." She said, "I want to see it all."
At any moment he could break out and kill her for doing such a thing to him. Or she might get to see one of his hidden memories that might never be shared. The thought of either situations brought a smile to her.

The smile never wavered from his face as he waited while she considered his generous offer. She could have said no and they would simply part ways, or that would what he would have her think until he found another to trap her. But fortunate would smile upon Logan this night and she accepted his company.
"Indeed, we will be." He took to her side as they ventured off to this shop she had her heart set on. Whether or not they would actually make it would depend on if he could just get her alone, away from the prying eyes of the streets. It had been ages since he partook in a hunt like this- why he was afraid that he would be a tad rusty to follow this through. To any other person, Logan would appear to be doing the just thing and making sure a lady wouldn't be left to the dangers of the night, unaware that he was perhaps the most dangerous of them all in town.
He didn't give it a second thought that she wasn't who she said she was nor or baring any intentions other than getting some flowers. To him, she was a pretty little thing that would find herself in more trouble than what she bargained for. His friendly demeanor kept up as they strolled by the line of stalls. With each step closer to the destination, his eyes were slyly looking for a nice little spot he could lure her into. The shadows would be his ally and help him fulfill his latest dream. His attention would be drawn back to her and he considered his answer carefully.
"I love to travel. Staying in one spot gets too boring for my taste, my lady." A half-truth slipped right out of his mouth; he never was one to stick to a place but that was because of other unfortunate circumstances.
"I love new experiences, as a matter of fact", he continued as they took the left turn as intended, only for it to lead to an alleyway far from the view of the others. The corner of his lip curled up even tighter,
"Meeting new people, seeing the sights, and tasting as many exotic foods as I can get my hands on." Just as he said those words, his hand ventured into the small of her back as they proceeded. Logan was sure that she was too enthralled in his tales to notice where they were.
"Especially if they are…appealing to the eye. Just means that they taste a little bit better." His grip tightened a bit more and when he was sure they were too deep, he smiled enough to show her his fangs.
"I don't see a flora shop. Pity. Why don't I show you something else instead?" He released her and circled around until he was in front of her and placed his arms onto the wall, keeping her trapped. He leaned in closer, eyes venturing to the side of her neck and as he drew closer could hear the faint sounds of her heartbeat. A lovely tune it played for him and he would see to it that it would down to the very last drop of blood.
"Forgive me, but I couldn't pass up experiencing this…"

The stranger in front of her was as polite as any gentleman ought to be, yet she hoped that there was more beneath that perfect exterior. She listened to him with seemingly interest as he described a path to a non-existent flora shop. The woman was still trying to puzzle his aura out, trying to figure out what kind of being he might be. A human was fun for a short amount of time. They always seemed to die off so quickly. The undead were more fun but feeding them was an occasional challenge. Other fae were off limits, as they were to close to home. Any other creature was a wonderful surprise. But for all her attempts, she couldn't figure him out without revealing her true intentions. Suddenly, he offered to escort her there. She had an appropriate moment of hesitation before agreeing.
"I suppose you're right." Ciara said with a soft smile, "Two is safer than one in places like this."
The hesitation was made to make her reaction organic rather than agreeing readily. A bit of breeze flowed through the air, cooling the crowds of people along the streets. The colorful stalls held hundreds of goods, from rare fruits to glittering gems. Her eyes were wondering from stall to stall but her mind was focused on the man walking by her side. What secrets hid behind those eyes? Excitement ran through her body as she thought of a thousand possibilities. She was hungry for his history and behavior, wondering what kind of life he had lived so far and what would he would do next.
"If you don't mind my asking, what has brought you here?" She inquired still wearing her accent.
The woman couldn't resist asking at least one question, a taste for what might be in store. They were approaching a darkened alleyway on the left far away from prying eyes yet not too ominous to enter. Ciara pretended not to see it, instead listening his response. She had the manners of a lady and appearance of one. This obliviousness she presented was unfortunately accurate to the many noble women around Revaliir.

The newly gained boots clicked against the cobblestone of the road as he searched for his next victim. His fangs were aching to dive into some supple flesh and for the first time in such a while, he was allowing himself to be a bit
picky. The homeless left a nasty aftertaste in his mouth and the woman from the outskirts was drained messily. More of her blood ended up splattered about inside the carriage and on his previous clothes than to flow into his mouth. And when he found the perfect little one, he would take his time to savor it.
Perhaps a fair maiden? Someone from a church close by? No street urchin or lady of the night would do for him. Logan's mind was made up and the painstaking search would have taken him all night had he not found himself colliding with a smaller lady. Despite her bumping into him, he immediately recovered and he fell upon the old and dusty skills he had long since forsaken.
Manners.
"Please excuse me for being so hasty", he said humbly, his own tone out of place here. If one had to take a guess, the closest to describe it would be a thick accent like those native to Kurayo would have. He gave her a light bow and smiled.
"I am new here, but I can't refuse a request from a lady like yourself." While he hadn't the slightest clue to where this flora shop was, he was paying more attention to the woman, who struck both his fancy and sweet tooth. She would do excellently. He leaned in closer to take a look at the map, taking notice of her perfume. Ah, he could feel his mouth watering but he had to keep the ruse up until they were in more private settings. He looked from the map and looked around to see if there were any landmarks close by that would help reflect their own whereabouts.
He knew that the gates to the city were far behind them and he attempted to use that knowledge along with whatever he managed to past by before he pointed at a specific spot on the map for her.
"We should be here, which means…we aren't too far from the shop. It's just a few blocks away if you head straight on and turn left here." He led his finger along the route she should take to reach the coveted location.
"If you don't mind, I would feel much better if you were escorted there. One might never know what could happen in Adeluna", he suggested.
Or who will be waiting for you, little lamb.

A young woman sat on a deep red lounge chair as she peered through the windows. The building was tall and towered over the people walking on the streets below. Her grey eyes scanned the people beneath, observing their auras and behaviors. The blue haired fae was not alone. Sitting at a desk with a quill was a handsome young merchant busily working away. Yet the entire time, he was keeping an eye on Ciara, never letting her out of his sight for too long. She was wearing an attractive cherry red gown and a silver snake bracelet was wrapped around her upper left arm. In her hands was a pack of tarot cards being shuffled impatiently. After a few moments, her eyes locked onto a particularly handsome face with a fascinating aura.
"You've found a new target." The merchant observed, "Are you going to make their life heavenly or hellish?"
"Who knows?" She said with a smirk, "For all I know he may not be affected at all. That's what makes people so….exciting."
After a few moments, Ciara rose from her seat, snatched her cloak and began to head for the door. She stopped right before leaving and waved goodbye before leaving forever. The merchant was unable to tell if he wanted her to return or if he wanted her gone. The fae woman made it to the streets cloaked by a silky black cloth and she began to find the man she'd seen from earlier. He was handsome but romance wasn't exactly what she needed from him. Interaction. Surprise. Danger. Those things were what made her feel complete bliss. Whether he loved her or hated her, it didn't matter. Ciara positioned herself in front of him and appeared to be generally lost. In her hands was a map and she was gazing around with a confused look on her face. Suddenly, she crashed into Logan and looked up at him with surprise.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed with an Irian accent, "I'm afraid I'm a little lost in the area. Would be so kind and point me in the correct direction? I'm trying to get to Aseraths flower store in the central market."
She showed him her map which had a flower store circled. Her perfume was made in Iria and had an exotic scent. Her accent was perfect but for everything she was putting into this performance, it could all still fail. He could shrug her off and move one. It would be very dull and saddening but she would easily recover and move on to the next interesting person if that was how it turned out. Ciara's smile seemed genuine as did all her other performances. What she lacked in physical strength, she made up with her performances of all kind.

Gods, it was a pain, but as much as he didn't want to, Logan had to keep moving. Too many worms have found out about his hideaway and his "wrongdoings". The last one was some vampire knight that thought she was holier than thou, but she was just as much as a monster as he was. Perhaps in time, that truth would be realized but it was no concern of his. What was now was a new spot to keep himself safe and have access to the blood cattle at night. It took quite the little journey, but after several weeks, he had made it to the city of the south. Adeluna.
He honestly didn't see anything special about this place, but it was abundant with people and that was good enough for the time being. He had to hide away until nightfall, which surprisingly wasn't terribly difficult. Apparently there were loads of abandoned buildings, some housing the homeless but that was swiftly taken care of with ease once he got his hands on them. The best thing was that they wouldn't be missed and looked for. After the clearout, it was only a matter of sleeping until the early hours of dusk approached and when the sun laid to rest, Logan was free from the chain. He awoken, stood up, and cracked his back, neck, and hands. His shoulders rolled forward and back and before he took off, he noticed that he was still in the rags he wore ever since coming to this wretched land. No, no, that simply would not do. And the homeless that were slaughtered nearby didn't have much better wears. No, he would have to improvise.
And so he sneaked off into the night, careful to take as many alleyways and less visible routes as he searched. It wasn't long before he found a carriage slowly riding off out of the city, likely to some countryside house and he stalked it with care until he was sure no one could bear witness to what was to happen. Once that cue was taken, he leaped from the side and onto the coachman, quickly taking hold of his head and twisting it until a soft snapping sound could be heard. His hands then moved to the reins and pulled, making the horses stop in their tracks. The sudden stop caused for a man to come out and from the looks of his wares, Logan did nicely picking this one. Once he saw the vampire, he screamed and attempted to climb back into the carriage, only for Logan to snatch him up and break his neck as well. He didn't need any sort of blood on those clothes- that wouldn't do to undergo so much work only for some stains to ruin his plans. The young lady that was inside the carriage, on the other hand, was fair game in his eyes as he threw the door wide open and pounced on her just as those lovely screams filled the air until her last gasp. The horses were spooked by the screams and started to gallop away. Logan, having to have a quick bite to eat, rolled his eyes and leaped out as the carriage went further on to gods knew where. At least that helped to clean up the mess. The dead man was still on the roadside and he quickly flung off his own clothes and slipped into the much nicer and fitting cloth to his being.
When was the last time he had clothes nearly worthy of his presence? He couldn't say- time was a lost instrument to him ever since he had escaped the inferno and watched his brother move onto bigger and better things. He moved back into the city and fitted right in with the crowd. He didn't seem out of place, in fact, he was handsome enough to garner a few second glances, but he had an angel's face with a monster's heart. None would be the wiser of his wrongdoings, and he would be on the search for more prey.
