An island that time itself had forgotten…

There were a dime a dozen of wilderness that was left untouched for eons, yet Tyr had been a point of interest for a good while now. There was an air of eeriness about it, the uncertainty of its structure and the wicked rumors that sailors spoke of. What drove them away due to fear, actually intrigued the God as he set foot upon the island. The moment he stepped through the gate, Xunatar felt as though there were eyes set on him. He shifted about, looking for any traces of life, which there didn’t seem to be anything around. There were no sounds of scrying from furry little animals, not sights of birds flying above or chirping, and certainly, no one else was about. Nothing but quietness, which was quite unsettling.

Making his way further inland, he slowly made it towards the ruins that were the city. The cause of its destruction was never truly discovered; many scholars had theorized things ranging from civil war, invasion by outsiders, plague, genocide, etc. Much of Tyr was left in a disheveled state, aside from a few buildings that remained standing for the most part. But as he took the time to see the sights, he still felt the annoying sensation that there were others about, watching him.

Slowly, essences of darkness leaked from below the hooded man on to the ground and pour about in all directions quickly. Whatever was out there, well, it wouldn’t particularly like his little trap, but Xunatar set it off and it shot out to seek his observers while he made his way to the University, the centerpiece of Tyr. Even now, in its decrepit state, still looked very regal. He had hoped to seek it out for its wealth of knowledge, perhaps even housing journals or documents over what had caused the city to shift into a large but empty gravesite.
