Inhale. Exhale.  Kiba licked his lips as he leaned back against one of the walls of the ruins that stood in the fields of Railoch.  Rain beat down from the dark skies while lightning crackled across the sky as if looking for a victim to strike.  He was not a large fan of following the manifestation around the lands.  There was something that he had noticed while following the rabbit, and the diowolf was growing more and more wary of the beast.  On the outside, it looked like an ethereal bunny that could be seen as harmless.  Kiba's Reztreal was registering something much different as the travels continued on.  As the trail had gone on, the diowolf had left his little squirrel friend in a small village where it was safe and warm.  He would return for Til later, but he was almost certain that the rodent wasn't missing his companion too much while being fawned over by the children in town.

Water slipped down the top of his head over his cheek as the rain made it's way through the cracks of the old building he hid in.  This time his highland claymore was drawn and ready for battle.  Nerves were on high since he was still not proficient in the usage of magic in Revaliir to make him feel confident.  He stepped out just enough to catch a glimpse of the creature.  It had grown in size once again and was radiating a more malevolent energy than it had the previous encounters.  From what Kiba could tell, the thing was changing as it lingered longer in this land without proper handling.  Whatever had caused it to appear, it was not meant to be here.  If it continued to go unchecked there was no telling what the consequences would be.

The rabbit lifted its head towards the sky and lightning struck down at the beast.  Kiba ducked his head behind the rubble to keep the magical flare from overwhelming his eye.  An eerie roar rippled with that of the thunder that shook everything.  "And he just got a nice charge. Perfect."  Tapping the back of his head against the slick wall, he stepped out and instantly began to jog towards the hare.  It was a dumb idea, but it was all he had in his arsenal to handle such a creature.  In a fluid motion he put the claymore back into the sheath on his back and a quick flash of light enveloped hid body.  The form of man disappeared and replaced by a giant black wolf.  His shoulders were at the height of five foot ten inches and claws flashed out to sink into the lightning charge rabbit.  Kiba latched his jaws onto the back of the hare and clenched down hard in hopes of disrupting the ley lines in the beast.  Please let this work.

Eden

Character Info
Name: Eden
Age: 20
Alignment: CN
Race: Tigerfolk
Gender: Female
Class: Beastmaster
Silver: 7
Just what kind of beast was this one? It certainly was not human, but it never bothered to respond back her calls. It was strange… Even the dangerous threats back on that island responded to her, but not here? Were her words not getting through like the other beings around her or was she simply too far away form a call to be reached? It was tempting to get close, but every time she did, the massive rabbit would hop away elsewhere. A strange entity indeed.

However, it was clear she was not the only one caught on the hunt for this thing, as an air of malice filled the air during her chase to understand. It was not directed at her, but what it was was certainly strong, almost thick in the air. It was that, or the downpour that had poured down upon the land they were in, the lightning in the air telling her to abandon her blade elsewhere, leaving the folks back in the village prior with her name. They would not be ones to run away with it. After all, they were not ones who could easily lift it, let alone walk around with the blade in hand.

Eden was just about ready to approach once more when the sky flashed bright, a beam striking downwards in many jagged angles raining down upon it, scorching the land black where it stood, and yet… unfazed. She could not imagine how it could survive such a beam, but there it stood, as if unaware to the harm or the increase in malice to the air. It was them a massive wolf leaped from the shadow to pounce upon the prey, grasping at the vitals. A wolf and his prey… Should she dare move in closer, or turn tail? Either way, she could feel fur wash over her arms as her hands turned to paws, eyes watching the wolf attempt to take the rabbit's life as she slowly moved closer…
