Near the Northern Mountains of Canelux, and West of Arri a great canyon runs like a giant scar through the Earth. The mountains themselves are bare but the rocks are shades ranging in purples and oranges while the sand itself is white in hue. A river runs like a snake through the canyon's floor, providing water to the inhabitants, wildlife and plant life.

The native tribes of this canyon, the Eyotian, live within the canyon's walls. They have over many generations carved out their homes from the very stones and earth in the walls, and using the natives trees to create bridges and ladders where needed. They are a somewhat reclusive people, and are wary of strangers, but as long as those that visit are hospitable they will deal in trade with them. Most of the tribe lives in an oasis that has formed after the current Conclave has infused the ground with magic to keep the trees alive and growing. The Eyotian themselves come in a coupe varieties, one looks more human with tanned skin, the others have four arms and are nominally the warriors, but lines of Eyotian get along and can intermarry.

The plant life includes juniper trees that the Eyotian people use for their bridges and ladders and they don't take kindly to them being cut down for no reason. Wildlife includes mountain goats, foxes, raccoons, mountain lions and snakes of many different kinds. The odd small herd of deer can be found along the floor of the canyon but they are scarce with most meat and fur coming from the mountain goats.

But the Eyotian aren't the only sentient inhabitants of the canyon. Orcs have made camps in the floor of the canyon in places. They aren't natives but invades and try and raid the Eyotian people, but they usually fail so they have started to use it their camps as staging areas to head out from the canyon to make their raids.

Another race are the Desert Rosenites, long distance cousins of the Oasis Rosenites from Sularia. This line of Rosenites are hardier and psychically stronger than the other Rosenite clans. They get along with the Eyotian people and have trading between them, sometimes the odd marriage will happen. They are more welcoming of outsiders than the Eyotian, but will help defend their allies when needed from the orcs and other outside threats.
