Lewis smirked. “You did go a little overboard with the wine. I had to catch you a few times because you were convinced that you could fly away. Though, I’m pretty sure you were just using that as an excuse to have me hold you. You weren’t exactly subtle about how much you wanted to just fall asleep on me.”

“It was hard to deal with back then. Emotions. Happiness. I didn’t understand much of it. You helped, little by little, until I finally understood what some of it meant. The resonance helped with the rest…” He closed his eyes, thinking back to the memories that he held dear. “That’s the only glass of wine you get tonight. Any more and you’ll already be at your limit.” He opened his eyes, and took another sip from his own glass. “How is the food?” Silva had come up with the full course meal herself, and she was always on point when it came to delicious foods.

The night seemed to be going well as the two chatted about the past. Once the meal was done, Lewis took younger Simone’s hand, and led her down to the beach. The water lapped at the sands, and the cool night breeze swept around them as Lewis stared up at the moons.

“This was a fun evening,” Lewis said as he gripped her hand. “While I miss the tower and the times we had, I’m glad that you and the other Simone’s grew together and became one…”

Simone smiled at him and tilted her head, “Lewis, I don’t think you understand… I enjoy all of my time with you. The best time was in the tower. Even if we did trips out and about my best time spent with you was always in the rooms we called home.”

Sniffing the wine she drank it easily and tilted her head, “Lewis, do you remember the first time you let me have wine? It was the last time you let me have wine because I drank it all when you weren’t looking and you ended up having to hold my hair all night because I got sick… among other embarrassing things I did…”

There was a blush across her face, “But I do like this… It’s romantic. The best even. You’ve put a lot of thought into this and I appreciate it.”

It was surprising to see Simone in a dress with such a color, though he should have guessed that the younger, more innocent Simone was into these brighter colors. His Simone, the true amalgamation of all of her forms, tended to avoid the brighter colors for the darker ones. This was a very interesting contrast, and despite it not being in his usual taste, enjoyed it nonetheless. After all, it was Simone.

“Y-yes, dinner,” Lewis said as he poured Simone a glass of wine. “I found it while at an auction. Papaya wine…a very unique flavor. It’s sweet…I think you’ll like it.” He handed the glass over to her, and walked her to the side of the table. “Food will be out shortly…” The two sat down, and as the food came out, Lewis gulped. Was she happy? Did she enjoy the view over the water? Was the candlelight too much?

“I figured you would enjoy something out in the open. Most of your time with me was spent in the tower. This way…you’d have the open air.”

Simone had wanted everything to be perfect. Silva did her hair, make up, and helped her get into a pretty coral pink dress. It wasn’t at all what the true Simone would wear now a days so it was unique to her. It first her wholesome attitude about it all.

It was an off shoulder dress made of satin and lace. It had an aline skirt of many layers with the satin having more of a sparkly effect to it. A darker shade was across her arms and her bust with a pretty brooch in the very center. Her hair was half down in long curls with a matching thin ribbon holding her hair back.

She was carefully walking as she held the skirts up, “Sorry, I didn’t… want to run and ruin the dress…” She wasn’t very adept at it like the older Simone was… Though the older Simone still had her moments.

“Do… Do I smell papaya?” She sniffed a bit more and then sniffed his breath. “I knew it! Papaya! Are you playing a joke on me?” She tilted her head at him. Putting her hands on her hips she gave him a smile, “It’s a good memory.”

She looked around him to the dinner, “It’s… pretty. I love it! Are we having dinner then?”

While Silva helped the younger Simone pick out an outfit and get dressed, Lewis made his way down to the set up that his staff had helped curate. A round table with an elegant white, satin cloth was laid you with a beautiful, phoenix candelabra at the center. Set out were two wine glasses, with a rare variant of papaya wine set out for the main course. It was a joke of a callback from when Lewis had mistakenly assumed that it was one of her favorite fruits. The wine itself was more of a gag gift than anything, but there was some potential that it might be decent.

“I hope this works out,” Lewis said as he glanced around nervously. The main course was all set and ready to be served once younger Simone sat down. He had tried his best to remember all of the things she practically begged Lewis to try, but never had the chance to experience, and tailored the meal specifically around that. He wanted to make sure that she had time to experience at least some of the things she had missed out on in life.

“I wonder what’s taking her so long,” Lewis said aloud as he poured himself a glass of the wine. He took a small sip, and was surprised at how sweet it had turned out to be. “Not terrible, though…”

The three Simones sat across from Lewis as they awaited what he would tell them. All three had different ways of sitting even if they only varied by a little but their gaze was all the same when it came to Lewis.

They nodded along to him and when the young Simone found out she was first she jumped up excitedly, “Really?! Me first?!” She did a little dance and looked at the other Simones who were watching. The true Simone was laughing a bit. She was so excited about it.

“If I want?! IF I WANT?! MY DREAM WAS FOR YOU TO TAKE ME ON MORE DATES!” The younger Simone was still dancing. She ran up to Lewis kissed his cheek and out the door she went.

“Wait for it…” The older Simone said cautiously.

There was a slip and an oof. “I’M ALRIGHT!” She must have slipped going up the stairs.

Getting the Simones to all agree to come to the great room was the easy part. Lewis sighed, looked between the three. Now came the slightly trickier part. “Okay…so, I only have three more days with the three of you, and…well…” He thought about how to say it. “I want to take each of you on a date. A special…one on one. Simone likes that…but we’ve honestly been really busy lately. I’ve….arranged it all already. If you…all want to agree to it…the younger Simone is first tonight. The Guide is tomorrow…and…” He looked over to the true Simone. “You and I on the third day. Just in case something goes wrong and they disappear sooner…”

That was a thought. Them disappearing. It was fun having them around, but…all good things must come to an end at some point. But that wasn’t the thing at hand.

“So…if you want,” he asked, looking to the younger Simone. “I’ve had Silva lay out some outfits upstairs if…you want to meet me at the gazebo…for a date…” Now that he was saying it, he felt a little bit sheepish for asking.

The little Simone had enjoyed helping Lewis with his farm work and as soon as it was done she was cheerful. “Do you really like not having to do assassinating anymore?” She looked up at him. “You are so much happier now with all the kids and me. I’ve never seen you this happy before.” She hadn’t believed him but now she did.

They did arts and crafts with Corrine and Jules. Played tag with Everett and Alshaya. There were various other things with all the kids. Once playtimes were overall four sat in the Great Room. “So what now?” The Guide spoke up. “You asked us all to come in here… What are we doing?”

“Yeah! What are we doing?” The younger Simone grabbed Lewis’s arm.

“I’m a bit curious too…” The true Simone gave a smirk. “You normally aren’t this secretive Lewis.”

Lewis pretended to pout as the kiss that was meant for him was redirected to Glynn. He rolled his eyes and smiled, though, as the baby started to giggle and squeal at all of the attention he was getting. “Little spoiled brat,” the ex-assassin said with a grin. “He’s going to steal all the attention when he gets older…”

Breakfast ended, and despite the extra Mone’s, it was business as usual. Lewis had to tend to the fields, which was a fun task with the younger Simone following him around and asking questions. The WGuide was busy tending to the gardens with the true Simone, and after their taste were done, the four reconvened to spend time with all of the kids.

“Before you ask,” Lewis said with a smirk, “yes…it’s usually this busy. But it’s fun…it’s not life or death.”

“Can… He even handle that many? I remember when she was pregnant,” the younger Simone said.

“No, he would die from two. He would make them mad all at once and they would beat him to death,” Simone rolled her shoulders and kissed Janus on the top of his head. Glynn was reveling in the attention the younger Simone was giving him. When the younger Simone went to give a kiss to Lewis Glynn threw a fuss.

“Oh? You want a kiss instead?” Glynn squealed as he got the kiss and his eyes were wide at the other Simones. He was loving all the affection from his mother and her other-selves.

“What a handsome little man you are,” the Guide giggled as she tickled Glynn’s foot. He squealed again and kicked his feet.

“You are spoiling him~” The true Simone smirked a bit as she watched the scene unfold.

Getting the kids down for breakfast was surprisingly easy with an additional two Simones to help out, and soon they were all eating in the dining hall, with a plus one. Rhenakos was still in some state of shock as the three Simones merely went about their breakfast, and finally the true Simone snapped at the demon hunter.

“What the hell is going on here? Why are there three of you!?” He glared at Lewis. “THREE. You lucky basta-”

“Language,” Alshaya said with a grin. “No bad language!”

“Lang-age!” Janus yelled. “Bad Rhen!”

Simone smiled. “Yes, bad Rhen indeed.” The agreement merely made Janus proud, and Lila blew a raspberry at Rhen.

Lewis smirked at his children. “Now, now kids…be nice.” It was hard to hide the fact that he was enjoying it though. “Angela did an experiment and it messed up. So I have three Simone’s for the next few days.”

Rhenakos stared at the three Simones, and then to Lewis. “Okay…well…” He stood up, and sighed. “Looks like I need to go speak to Ang then.” He smirked as he marched to the door. “FOUR OS’S, HERE I COME!” The door slammed behind him, leaving the Terrowin family to stare.

“…idiot!” Lila said, pointing at the door.

The younger Simone was blushing at how much energy Lewis had in the morning. Meanwhile, the real Simone had a smirk, “Oh, you are going to milk these four days aren’t you?”

They were all kissing again and the Guide was teasing Lewis. It was easy enough to set the mood. When the door slammed open the Guide grabbed the blanket and covered all of them. “Rude! YOU ARE THE RED-HAIRED IDIOT!” The Guide pointed. “I was warned about you.”

The younger Simone was hiding her bust from the demon hunter, “Hello… Rhenakos…” There was a deep blush on her face.

The true Simone rolled her eyes threw the blanket off of her. The two were watching in amazement as she strolled over to Rhenakos. “Rhen?”

“Yes?” He was entraced by all three of them on Lewis.

“Get the fuck out of our room Rhen,” Simone had pulled him close by the collar of his shirt before pushing him back. “We’ll be down for breakfast.” She slammed the door and locked it before climbing back in bed. “Now… Where were we.”

“Can we still?” The young Simone felt like it had been ruined but Lewis was quick to remedy it all.

Once they were done having their fun the Simones came in hanging onto Lewis. The twins were more understanding than normal and had allowed themselves to be brought down for breakfast. Each Simone kissed Lewis good morning and finally, Janus had his turn with his mother.

“Hi my sweet baby,” Simone smirked and Janus snuggled into her grunting. “I know you are mad but thank you for being so understanding~” She chuckled a bit. Rhenakos was sitting at the table staring at them.

“Don’t leave your mouth open Rhenakos. You’ll catch flies. Ask what you want to ask.”

Lewis yawned and snuggled harder into the younger Simone as the Guide said her good mornings. “mmm…I’m wake,” he muttered. He yawned again, finally opening his eyes to see the Guide on top of him. “Good morning…that’s a good view to wake up to…” He smirked. “I did sleep well…”

As Lewis stared up at the Guide, he continued to smirk. It took a moment, but then the Guide blushed and looked away, realizing what was happening.

“Even after all that last night!?” the Guide exclaimed.

“I can keep going,” Lewis replied.

The Guide flushed, and shifted herself, placing her hands on Lewis’ chest. “I-if you want…”

At that point, the door burst open, and a loud, redheaded demon hunter stomped in.

“Lady Ang and Xeik wanted me to che-” He looked over to see the Guide on top of Lewis. Then, he realized there were two more SImone’s on either side. “…the fuck…”

Simone had figured out that she could segment the resonance early on in the split. She could hold separate conversations with the other Simones since they were part of her. Lewis didn’t have a clue. The true Simone was excited to watch Lewis get overwhelmed by it all. They were doing a good job at it at first but slowly like she knew Lewis to be he adapted.

It had to be rough to have three wives and two of them were eager to learn. By the end, they were all snuggled into each other. Each Simone holding Lewis in a way. The guide was on top of Lewis wrapped around his waist. The other two holding onto his arms snuggled into his shoulders.

In the morning the Guide sat upon his chest and stretched with a yawn. She blushed a bit looking down to Lewis, “Good morning!”

“Good morning,” the younger Simone said exhausted as she barely got it out and snuggled into him.

“Morning Love,” Simone kissed his ear. “Sleep well?”

The direction where they all wanted to head was quite the surprise to Lewis. Suddenly, he realized just why Lady Angela had given him the stamina potion. He tucked away the location of it in the back of his mind for later, and instead smirked. “Oh? Is my lovely Simone going to get her revenge?” It started with a kiss, and each Simone started on a different place, each of them taking advantage of the fact that one of them was always kissing Lewis directly, so there wasn’t anything he could do to fight back.

It was the Guide who started going lower, and the younger Simone blushed, watching and learning. The true Simone kissed Lewis roughly, letting the other two explore and experience the rest of Lewis for the time being. It wasn’t long before Lewis was panting between kisses, and the younger Simone started to imitate the Guide, the two taking their turns.

To Lewis’ surprise, though, it was the younger Simone first who slid into his lap, straddling him. She blushed, gasping a little, but it wasn’t long before she was comfortable. From there, the Guide and the true Simone took Lewis’ sides, kissing him and pulling his attention both ways…

The night progressed on, moving away from the tub and into the bedroom. The Guide was next, more than happy to take the younger Simone’s place as she rested, exhausted. The true Simone merely egged the two on, playing with Lewis and teasing him. Finally, the true Simone got her turn. As usual, they showed off some rather terrifying things, and even the younger Simone blushed, wide eyed, but curious. The Guide had seen it before, but even Lewis and Simone’s new extremes were something to see.

And the curiosity got the better of them. They wanted in on the new plays.

“One moment,” Lewis said as he pulled out the stamina potion from the side table. “Going to need this….”

And so the night continued, and just as the sun started to rise, the three Simone’s and Lewis collapsed and passed out from exhaustion finally. It would truly be a night to remember…

“Raile’s wives have to get along but from what I know~ They take turns with him. It’s not in the plans tonight~” Simone eluded to say much more and the other two were nodding though they were blushing. It begged the question: what one of them had suggested this?

“We really do try to be the best wife we can be,” the little Simone smiled up at him as she snuggled close.

The Guide kissed Lewis and then the true Simone stole him to kiss him again. “Careful girls we don’t want to kill him~” The True Simone had a mischievous look in her eyes. “Or overwhelm you… do we?”

“Overwhelming might be fun,” the young Simone spoke up with a blush. “Revenge~”

“Ohhh… Revenge. Yes.” Simone smirked a bit. “The best kind of revenge.” So the Simones started to kiss him. His neck, his lips, and anything else they thought they could bother him with.

When the slap happened, Lewis got a slight idea of where this was headed. As he dipped into the warm bathwater, and the blindfold dropped, he blushed slightly. It was always wonderful to see his beloved Simone naked, and now there were three of her, all around him.

“It’s quite the surprise,” Lewis said with a smirk as they joined him in the water. It was relaxing, but exciting too, and he wondered how far this was going to go. Even if it was just this, though, he was content. He wrapped his arms around the younger Simone and pulled her close, snuggling with her as the other two Simone’s snuggled in on his sides.

“I love the surprise,” he said as he closed his eyes. “You’re the best wife a man can ask for. All three of you…” He smirked. “I wonder if this is what it’s like for Raile.”

“The best kind of surprise,” the Guide giggled and kissed his cheek. “Watch your step.” She got him to their room and got him undressed. There was a hard slap to his rear obviously not from the Guide. He was helped into the tub and finally, the blindfold fell. The young Simone was across from him and his Simone was next to him.

“Kalina was right this can fit a lot of people,” Simone smirked a bit as the Guide slipped into the tub with them. They all snuggled up on Lewis even the young one as she got in his lap.

“This is relaxing!” The Guide loved it as flowers floated in the water. Candles had been lit and there was even some wine.

Simone leaned in and put her lips to his ear, “Do you like our surprise?”

The time spent relaxing after dinner was the best part of the night so far. Lewis was lazing about, his head in Simone’s lap as she read to the kids. It was pure bliss, and was probably one of his favorite things to do. It dawned on him recently just how much of this he had missed working, and it only reinforce the fact that retiring from his assassin job was the best thing for them all.

Once storytime was over, Lewis was pulled aside by the Guide, and without much knowledge, was pushed to wear a blindfold, and dragged along by her.

“W-what is all of this?” Lewis asked, confused. He was still half awake from the storytime, and the resonance seemed to be cut. “What kind of surprise?” It should have been obvious, but it wasn’t.

The two Simones were actively watching the family as they tried to gather. “There’s so much going on,” the little Simone looked a little overwhelmed.

“You get used to it,” The older Simone smiled as she handed Glynn off to his wet nurse.

The little Simone tilted her head. “Don’t you want to feed Glynn yourself? To bond?”

“We did what we thought was best,” Lewis smiled up at her. “But also…” He eyed his wife.

“DADDY IS A PERVERT,” Shaya yelled. “All about Mama’s butt.”

“PAPA IS A PERVERT!” Everett yelled with Shaya.

“You two are terrible,” Simone chuckled a bit. The younger Simone had a smile on her face now.

After dinner was done everyone gathered in the great room and Simone read to them. Lewis was laying on her lap while the children were in front of her. They were squirming with excitement. Simone’s voice carried while her fingers went through Lewis’s hair. Even the Simone’s were having fun listening to her read.

Once the book was done there was a smirk from Simone. They got the kids ready for bed and the Guide came up to Lewis and tugged on his sleeve. “Hey, I have a surprise. It’s a secret though.” The resonance was cut off almost entirely. A blindfold was forced around Lewis. “Just trust me!”

“You do trust me right?” The guide’s cheerful voice carried to him.

Lewis sighed and walked over, helping out Alshaya as Glynn started to tug again. “No Glynn, you should know better than to hurt your sister.” Glynn, of course, maybe more squeals, andthen a disappointed grunt when he was pulled out of reach of his sister’s hair. “There we go. You’re free, Shaya.”

“Thanks Daddy!” Alshaya beamed, and ran for the bathroom down the hall. Immediately, there were sounds of bickering, followed by a solid slapping sound.

“Oh no,” Lewis sighed. “There she goes hitting her brother again…” He let out a hefty sigh, and shook his head, running after them.

It took almost thirty whole minutes for the whole family to gather into the dining hall. Once the last child sat down, the plates of food started coming out of the kitchen, and everyone was given their fair share of the usual feast. Tonight, was a rather large roasted ham, with a variety of sides.

Everett was all for this, having discovered that ham was, in fact, a part of the same animal that gave him his wonderful bacon. “Yessss!” Everett said as he tore into his pieces.

“So gross,” Alshaya muttered, giving her brother a disgusted look. “You’re a pig.”

Everett grinned, “Oink, oink!”

Lewis rolled his eyes, “Be nice you two…”

Simone smirked a bit at him. I hope that’s a promise. There was a sparkle of mischief in her eyes. Simone came over and helped Jules up. She gave him a forehead kiss and was helping him with his breathing. Janus came over and held his hands up. “Oh, we’re walking today?”

“Yeah,” he nodded.

“Good,” Simone smiled and scooped her boy up into her arms giving him a whole bunch of kisses. “Time for dinner,” she scooped Glynn up but he reached his hands out and grabbed Alshaya’s hair not letting go with a few grunts.

“DADDY! HELP! Glynn is pulling my hair!”

“Glynn…” Simone’s hands were full. “Stop being mischievous,” Glynn grunted and squealed as he pulled again.

The whole thing was a touching moment, and it wasn’t long before the younger Simone came looking in to see what was happening. Moments later, she was wrapped up in it all, laughing and crying as all of the kids tickle assaulted the two alternate Simone’s. A few minutes in, Lewis untangled himself from the mess, and noticed that the true Simone was off to the side, watching with a smile.

Hey now…you don’t get to escape either, Lewis thought with a smirk. But, maybe he could save her ‘torture’ for later. That brought a deviant smirk from him. But, he pulled his attention back to the other Simones, and clapped his hands.

“All right! It’s time for dinner! Everyone go wash up! Let everyone breath and calm down for a minute,” Lewis said with an authoritative tone. “C”mon. Jules, deep breaths.” He smiled and walked over to help the two Simones up. “All right…let’s get you two ready for dinner too. Dinner is…hectic.”

“Lewlew!” The guide yelled for help. Instead, all she got was an attack.

“We’ve taught the kids well!” Simone laughed as she watched the kids get the Guide. The guide was flailing under Lewis and the kids laughing hard.

The younger Simone had gotten curious about what was going on so she had made her way back into the house. She stood in the doorway watching it all unfold. Watching the family be together and laughing. She was seeing Lewis in a light she had never seen him before.

The True Simone’s eyes snapped up to the younger Simone. The twins were looking at her two.

“Um.” The littlest Simone backed up a bit. “I want to say I am not a part of this.”

“Oh…” The True Simone appeared behind her and she pushed the little one in. “Go be with your family.”

The kids jumped on the little Simone next and she didn’t know how to handle it. “I!” Now the little Simone was in a fit of laughter with the Guide. Jules and Corrine had come in and joined in the fun. The True Simone leaned against the door frame and watched it. Glynn was clapping from his seat and giggling at the fun.

When Lewis came in on the whole thing, it was a ruthless and hostile situation for the Guide. She was being pinned and tortured by tickles from the kids, and that brought a huge smile to Lewis’ face. Instead of helping, he merely sat back and watched as the guide slowly devolved into laughter and tears, unable to escape.

“My children are masters of their trade,” Lewis said as he crossed his arms, leaning against the wall. “You’ll never escape their wrath.” As the Guide tried to make an escape, Lewis took a few steps forward, and knelt down, reaching out. As the Guide grabbed it, Lewis smiled wickedly.

“And she has fallen for my trap!” He pulled her into his lap, freeing her from the true Simone and the children, only to start tickling her himself. This left her wide open for the children to add back in their torture, and for Simone to join in if she wanted. Even the twins started to get in on it, though they were less effective than they wanted to be. Still, everyone was happily laughing and giggling along.

The true Simone lifted Glynn into her arms and tickled him. His baby giggles filled her ears and her heart was full. The Guide was running around with Everett and Alshaya having the time of her life. “Mama! Play with us!” Everett and Alshaya came over and took her free hand.

“Play with you?” Simone smirked a bit. “I can play with the Guide~”

“Oh no! If you want the kids I can take Glynn.” The Guide waved her hand as she tried to help the True Simone.

Simone passed Glynn off to the kids and winked at them. They were waiting for what would happen. “Simone… what are you doing?” The look on her face! Worry set in.

For the true Simone, she was feeling giddy. All at once, she cut the resonance off as she pounced the Guide and began to tickle her. The Guide was yelling, “HELP, she’s evil!” The guide was flailing but the true Simone was grinning evilly.

“No one will help you! I cut the resonance off!”

The twins had shown up because they felt the resonance get turned off. "NO ONE HELP YOU!" They yelled at the Guide.

"EVIL!"

“Of course you can,” Lewis said with a smile. “As often as you want.”

It was a touching moment, but there was a sudden, strange feeling from the Guide, and what felt like the start of a cry for help. Which was weird, because the true Simone didn’t feel at all in distress, and instead he felt something more mischievous from her. At once, though, it was all cut as the resonance disappeared, stifled by what felt like one of the there Simones.

“Wait here one moment,” Lewis said as he raised his hand to the younger Simone. He opened a gate and stepped through, unsure of what havoc he was about to find. While he was slightly worried for what he may find, he wasn’t panicked. No, this was on their home island. Nothing bad could really happen here…it was impossible.

Simone smirked to herself as she cuddled into Janus. I’m sure every single one of us likes something different somewhere. I like the Wisteria Tunnel because of how much work I put into it. There’s pride. She likes the gazebo because that’s what freedom was to her. The Guide probably likes you the best.

After a few seconds, her thoughts came back. I love all of you too. Even younger prick you.

Young Simone got close to him and looked over the carp. “That takes a lot of time.” She blinked a bit. She remembered him always being away on jobs. “Do you still… kill people? I remember you being gone most of the day but you are here with us.” She squinted her eyes at him. Did he stop?

“Grapes? Are you going to make wine?” She batted her eyes. “Grapes are hard but I believe in you! You are after all the Great Lewis!” Ah, the Great Lewis. She was the one who started it. It had been more as a joke than anything.

Flashback to the tower.

Simone was curled up in front of the fireplace. She had her blanket around her and she was thoroughly invested in trying to embroider something. “Oh come on now…” She fussed at it. “Again?” The string broke on her needle. “Stupid fucking thing.” She had been trying to do it for the better part of an hour however, the needle and thread weren’t cooperating. She let out a loud groan. “I fucking… UGH.” She threw it down and had a pout on her lips.

"….did you just…?" Lewis had wandered in the room, and paused when he heard Simone. "Since when did you start doing that?"

Simone blushed, "You heard nothing. Can you fix this for me?"

Lewis sighed, and walked over, picking it up. "What even is this? What do you need done?" There was irritation in his voice, but he seemed willing to cooperate.

“It’s embroidery. My needle is bent so it keeps breaking the string,” she fussed some more as she picked it up and showed him. “See?”

“Can’t you use your other sewing needles?”

“No, those are different,” Simone held up a regular needle to show him the difference.

“Fine, hold on,” he was irritated but this would make her leave him alone. Once he had it fixed her eyes lit up.

“Thank you!” Then there was a small mischievous smile, “The Great Lewis has many talents I see!”

"'The Great Lewis?' What a stupid name."

“Fits the person,” Simone said under her breath but it hadn’t been missed by Lewis who made a face.

End the flashback.

“Can I keep coming to the Gazebo?”

As soon as the younger Simone was set down, she went about all excited about the spot. Watching her name all of the fish, one by one, brought a heartfelt smile to Lewis’ face. He saw back and let her explore more. It didn’t take her long to find the fish food, and she tossed it to the fishes. This being her favorite spot was amusing to Lewis.

So you all like different things. That’s new. Just watching the young Simone wander about and stare at the fishes was relaxing. I could almost do this all day. Watch her play with the fishes…watch you tend to the gardens… It doesn’t really matter what you do. All of you…

He walked over to the railing, and leaned against it. “That one…there…that carp. That was the first fish I ever caught. I know it’s hard to believe, but you should have seen how excited I was. Well…felt it. I’m sure I just looked normal. But…I was excited. Fishing was one of the first hobbies I ever had. Something I did to try and relax…” He looked over at the younger Simone. “Over there is an entire field of grapes. Figured I’d try my hand at growing them. See where it takes me.”

“Than-” She was about to thank him when he picked her up bridal style. She let out a surprised noise as she held onto his neck. Her face had only recently recovered from the blush was now being assaulted again with one. She turned her attention to the gardens and watched. “These look a lot like… Home. The master garden just off to the side of the castle,” she pointed at one of the gardens that Simone had done. “It was designed by my mother before she passed. Father used to tell me she made it for me as my birth present as soon as they found out she was pregnant. He named it the Simone garden but everyone always called it the master garden since that’s where my mother decided all the parties would be.”

She batted her little eyes as he put her down. Giving him a look she squinted her eyes a bit, “What did you do with Lewis?” She chuckled a bit and did a little curtsy at him. Going up to the railing on the gazebo she looked down at all the colored fish in the pond. Her eyes got wide in excitement. She loved it here. “That is a minnow. That is a sunfish. That is a bluegill.” She was pointing out all the fish to Lewis now. “There’s a carp right there!”

She looked down to see some food for them and immediately got it to throw in. She was in her own little world right there and then. “I think this is my favorite spot on the whole island.”

Personally, mine is the Wisteria Tunnel but~ I think I understand where she is coming from with this one.

It was normal for Simone to take his hand, and for that Lewis was not surprised. What he was genuinely surprised about though, was the look of determination on her face when she took his hand. It took him a moment to realize that she was, indeed, worried that he might have taken her hand off, and he agreed internally that he probably would have at that time.

“The gazebo?” Lewis asked with a curious tone. It made sense when Simone explained it, and he smiled. “Of course we can go there.” The true Simone was already agreeing with it, so Lewis swooped down and lifted the younger Simone into his arms. Without waiting for her to have a reaction, he walked over to the ledge of the balcony, and hopped down, making his way to the gazebo.

When they arrived, he set her down, and did a joking bow. “As requested, dear Simone.”

In her shock, Little Simone opened her mouth and shut it as she tried to think her words carefully. Simone was dying to know what her more innocent counterpart was thinking. It was an interesting view on their new world and it was different since she wasn’t tainted by the fey lord. This was how Llywellyn remembered her. Fair, kind, and innocent Mone.

“And all that work I did to make you put in some work!” Little Simone if she could have blushed even brighter would have. “So much has changed.”

Ah, well… all of that work ended up paying off. She had her own hand in how all of this played out even if she doesn’t know it.

The younger one took his hand delicately and she had a weird look on her face. It was one of contentment. “I would have never done this before… You would have probably taken my wrist off… Maybe.” She gave a smile. "I saw a gazebo by the water… I like it. Do you think we can go?"

Of course she would like that dumb thing. I built it. It reminded me a lot of the gazebo when I was younger. Llywellyn would sneak me out of the castle and read me stories. We were like eight. That was what freedom used to be to us before the madness started when I didn't realize what actual freedom was. She is beyond innocent. It makes me smile.

As the true Simone started laughing in the other room, Lewis smiled and laughed a bit himself. This version of Simone was so innocent. It dawned on Lewis that this was far before they explored their relationship and really got into the more explorative things. He smiled, and leaned over, whispering a few things in her ears. He was careful not to go into too much detail, but Simone’s eyes widened and her face flushed.

“And before you ask,” Lewis said as he leaned back up. “Half of it was her idea. So don’t go thinking I did all of this on my own.” He smiled and pet her as she turned a deeper shade of red. “You’re so innocent…it’s cute. You definitely have missed out on a lot.”

Little Simone tilted her head at him and gave him an understanding nod. They never spoke to each other in this capacity before. She could only remember their time since the main Simone remembered everything else. She had no ‘bad’ memories that she could think of. Except maybe whenever Llywellyn and Jerome got into a fist fight.

“I’m sorry for how your life was. I can’t even begin to imagine. It was hazy before but I can remember now. It was lonely in the castle but… it was never like that.” She frowned a bit. It was an experience to see her like that since her life had been an utter shit show but for the moment… This Simone knew nothing about it. “Living in the tower with you was difficult but it wasn’t bad. I liked it in a way. I don’t know why but I didn’t feel lonely. I don’t know why I felt that way but… I liked it. Even if you were kind of mean sometimes.”

She reached her hand up and patted his head. “You grew a bit.” She made a face. “And I am still short. This is not fair.” That? That was what her little self was more upset over. It was a snort from the true Simone.

It’s so interesting how innocent I was.

Little Simone tilted her head to him. “Use.. it on me?” She thought about it. An intense look was on her face. Then she smacked her fist into her hand with an ah-ha moment. “Oh! You trained me to use them?”

Laughter and a thud resounded near them as the older Simone was trying to contain herself.

“She’s laughing at me… Did I say something wrong?” She tilted her head cutely.

Lewis smirked. Her reaction was cute. But her confusion was quite understandable.

“It’s not about being a man,” Lewis said as he pet her hair. “You should see Lucas when he gets excited over books. But…I get it, Simone…” He took a breath. “It’s hard to explain. Really hard to explain. To keep it simple…you…er…Simone…uh…” He frowned. “All of you. The whole you. You…taught me to slow down and understand what I was feeling.” He paused. It was hard put into words.

“When I was…living on the streets…it was to survive at all cost. There wasn’t time to think or feel. The other boys…even Xeik…they were bigger than I was. Stronger. Faster. They had time to catch their breath. But me…I was always a step behind. I saw the kids that used to sleep beside me get dragged away and beaten to death. I saw the girls who used to tend our wounds get sold and carted away…” He paused. “It wasn’t that I didn’t feel for them. It was that I couldn’t. If I broke down…that would be the end. I couldn’t stop moving. So I just suppressed it all.”

“And then you came along, and slowed me down. Yeah…they were stupid words, but….I memorized them. That was the first poem that I saw. Of course…I had no idea what it all meant. That came much later…”

He paused. “It was…a lot of work. These feelings…they made no sense. It took a long time to figure out what they meant. And the resonance…that…that helped a lot. I could draw on experiences…try to figure out what they meant and why I felt them.” He smiled. “As for the assassin-y skills…well, I still use them on you.” There was a half snort from the other room where the true Simone was.

“Let’s just say they get…more mutually beneficial uses, lately.”

The poem made the younger Simone blush intensely. The Lewis she knew was never into what she was reading.

Flashback to almost a decade beforehand

Simone was sitting on her windowsill back in the tower. Her little heart was racing as she read the words and every once in a while she would blush.

“Simone.”

She didn’t hear him.

“Simone…”

She adjusted herself and flipped the page. An audible gasp left her as she continued. She was enthralled in whatever she was reading.

“…Hey. Simone?” Lewis got impatient and snatched the book out of her hands.

“Hey!” Simone’s face was bright red as she jumped off the windowsill and tried to get it back from him. “Come on Lewis! I was reading that! I was not existing in your space like you told me to.”

“Yeah, but I need your attention,” Lewis kept her away as he read the pages that had gotten such a reaction out of her.

"What is this trash?"

"I don't get it?"

"It's just…words.…"

After he spoke all of this Simone was left with a red face, “You don’t get it because you are a boy!” Simone tried to get the book some more and Lewis kept evading her. “Not fair. You are using your assassiny skills to keep my book from me!”

End flashback

“What I was reading in the tower. You used to make fun of it! Now you like it?” She tilted her head. “Men are so… So weird.” She made a face. “You’ve grown a lot… You don’t use your assassiny skills on me anymore?” If only she knew. She protected Lewis inside his mind the one time because the guide told her a little bit but even seeing it now… Now it was weird for her.

Lewis smirked. “Prove it?” He leaned close to her, and started to whisper in her ear.

He recited the rest by heart, his voice nothing but a low whisper in her ear. At the end, he pulled away with a half smile, taking her hand as he pulled away, only to pull her along into his arms, as if they were dancing. He twirled her gently before letting her go. “I can do a lot of things now…I’ve even been practicing the piano in my free time. Though…I did have to take a break when I broke my arm. I could play if you like…”

Little Simone was unsure of everything she was seeing. It was more like a fever dream that she dare not tell Lewis about… but it was real. He was here. They were married and had a load of kids who loved them. It was crazy where they had started.

“I felt lonely too but even when you were being mean… As long as you were with me I didn’t feel alone. If that… makes any sense.” She walked with him. “Have I kept you away from everyone too long?”

“I… love you too.” She gave him a hug before they continued their walk.

She caught the original Simone looking at them from the great room now. She had a sleepy Janus in her arm and a book in her hand. “…Do you guys talk a lot? I feel like we do.”

We talk all the time. Simone’s voice entered her and Lewis’s head as she connected them. You might not be used to this but Lewis and I do a lot of this. Just the two of us. Private conversations. Sweet nothings.

“Sweet nothings? Lewis is romantic?”

Shockingly, a lot.

“Like how?” The younger Simone was now being critical of the Lewis in front of her. “I don’t believe you.”

There was a giggle and a cranky Janus. “I’m sorry baby… Mommy just heard something funny.”

“Prove it,” Simone poked Lewis in his chest.

Lewis laughed as they tucked Glynn back into bed. He was getting a little grumpy, and it was during his nap time anyway. They left the room, and in the hallway Lewis smiled.

“I’m still not that great at taking care of myself, but…you keep me in check. If I forget to eat, you’re right there reminding me. Likewise…whenever you feel alone, I remind you that I’m right here. That I’m always here. That she’ll never have to be alone again. We have each other, and our wonderful children…”

Lewis hugged the younger Simone. “I love you. All of you, Simone. I can’t express it enough.”

She took a breath in and looked back at Glynn. “You’ve changed for the better. But… Lewis is Lewis.” She smiled at him and reached out to pet his head too. “I was really worried about you. You never took care of yourself and I knew once you sent me away or did whatever… That you would go back to how you were. You aren’t very good at looking after yourself… Maybe you are now but… You weren’t.”

Lewis looked a little worried when she said she was tired, but it seemed as though she were trying to push herself like she always used to do. After a moment, though, she asked a strange question, to which Lewis looked at her curiously.

“That’s an odd question,” Lewis said as he cocked his head to the side. “We’re as happy as can be. There are hiccups, for sure, but…we manage. There are times where we are sad, and times where we are happier beyond our wildest dreams. But…as long as we have each other, we’re always happy.” That was something that he was sure of, without a doubt. There were times in the past where he was scared that Simone would leave, but never once did he doubt that she wasn’t happy here. That he wasn’t happy to have her here.

There was no room for that kind of doubt.

“Simone and I are happy. We…are happy.”

Simone blushed a bit more thinking back to when she tried to knock it into his head herself. “That’s good, you learned a very good thing. Are you happy?” She looked up at him curiously. “You matter too.”

She nervously pushed her hair behind her ear and nodded, “I can meet them.” The energy from Rex about killed her, Fiori was a lot but cute, and Mira couldn’t get over how cute she was. Alshaya reminded her of a spoiled princess especially with how wrapped around her pinky Lewis was.

Then there was Glynn. She sat down and held the small boy in her hands, “He’s your youngest?” He was a lot smaller than the twins. “He looks like me… But he is adopted…” She rubbed her head like she used to do when she was struggling to remember things. “I know some things if I think hard enough.”

She took a breath and closed her eyes. “I’m a little tired from everything.” From pushing her, just like she always used to.

“How happy are we?” She finally spoke up and looked over at Lewis.

When you’re ready. Just let me know. There’s Rex and his wife, Hazel. He’s a bit of a wild one…but Hazel does him good. And there’s Fiori…she’s a lot like a younger me, but…nicer. Mira is probably around here somewhere, but be careful…she might flood things.” He paused, trying not to overwhelm the poor woman.

“Also, Alshaya and Glynn. Corrine and Jules are somewhere around here…probably in one of their rooms working on art projects. You would like them. They’re very mellow and down to earth, and love painting.”

The little Simone stared at him once he came out. She leaned against the railing and thought about it. “A little. It’s a lot to take in. It’s not a bad thing though Lewis… It’s just different.” She hesitated and came up to him before putting her hand to his cheek making him look at her. “You did change yeah. The Lewis I remember wouldn’t be apologizing to me or be considerate.”

She batted her eyelashes at him and gave him a smile. “That isn’t a bad thing. It’s just different. I saw you like this once before but… To be fair both of us were… different. Lady Angela’s realm after we woke up. You were very caring.”

More hesitation before she pushed herself up and pecked his lips quickly, “I’m just getting used to it I guess. You don’t have to feel so bad.”

Lewis gave her a moment, and sighed as he turned to his children. “So much has changed for her. I don’t think she knows how to deal with it.” He knew Simone was strong, but this Simone was…different than her dominant personality. She was even different from the Guide.

After a few moments of letting her cool off, Lewis stepped outside, but kept his distance. “I’m sorry…I should have wanted them. It’s all too much, isn’t it?” He felt bad, and looked away. “I changed a lot. So…did Simone. I thought it would be fun, but…I think it turned out to be stressful instead. I wouldn’t be surprised if you barely even recognize me anymore.”

Simone tilted her head at the story and was quiet for a few moments. “We’ve been on an adventure, haven’t we?”

Silva and Henry were cute, at least to her. Roma was interesting for her. She didn’t quite know what to make of him. As far as she had known Lewis didn’t have a father so this was all very new to her. She hugged him back and looked between the two for similarities.

The library wowed her and once her eyes landed on the three kids she tilted her head. “A genius?”

“Yes! Lucas is very smart!” Ezili hopped up and pranced over taking Simone’s hand. “I heard that we had guests!!! I didn’t know it was a younger mother.”

Everett got up and looked up at the young Simone. “I have never seen Mama like this before!” He hugged her and Simone was taken back for a moment before hugging him and patting his head.

She needed a moment and left as she went outside.

“Was it something we did?” Everett looked up at Ezili.

“No, I think she’s overwhelmed by everything… She looked stressed.”

Outside she was leaning against the railing looking out over the lake. She wasn’t used to any of this. She loved Lewis but also he was very different. She could barely see his cold self and he was being affectionate with her. It was different.

Lewis smiled. “It has been a long time,” he confirmed as he showed her the ring proper. “We have quite a lot of beautiful children.” It took him about thirty minutes to tell her an abridged version of what had transpired after they had killed the fae lord. Of course, he left out a lot of the dangerous details that involved Simone getting kidnapped, as well as the time that he was on the run. There was no need to worry the younger Simone over something that she had little control over.

Instead, he showed her around the house. He introduced her to Silva and Henry. Well, introduced was a strong word. Lewis more or less caught them in the act of holding hands and relaxing together.

“Oh?” Lewis asked with a half smirk. “Well…as long as it doesn’t interfere with work.”

Next, he introduced the younger Simone to his father, Roma, who was quite confused as to why there was a miniature Simone wandering around with Lewis, but he accepted it and offered her a hug.

Next, was Lucas, Ezili, and Everett, who were all huddled in the library.

“And this one here,” Lewis said as he pointed to Lucas. “Is a genius…”

The younger Simone jumped at him, she was so much more skittish compared to the original. Her stormy eyes fell on him as if trying to read him. “I have fuzzy memories of after the fey lord was killed but…” She was concentrating hard. “Nothing concrete. Just from when you found me till then.” She put her arms around his.

“She hasn’t told me much but… The guide has. A bit.” She was blushing. “I’ve never seen it but the guide says it's pretty.” Thinking back to the tower she just held onto him tighter. “It was home though… My first home with you.” Her voice was timid as she thought about it. “I didn’t mind it.”

Nodding the younger Simone took his hand and she looked down at it. “How long has it been? Time isn’t exactly… there for me. It’s more like I’m sleeping. You look… different.” Looking at his ring she tilted her head. “We’re married now? With babies? It sounds like a lot of babies actually.” She had a lot to catch up on.

Lewis came up to the younger Simone, who was still looking around dazed. It was cute, in a way, though he felt a little bad that he hadn’t been able to help before now. He came up behind her and gave her a comforting hug. “It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it? Have you ever seen the whole castle? The island?” He wondered how much Simone had told her.

It was weird. She had barely changed at all from his memory, yet he had grown so much. “Do you ever miss it? The tower, I mean? I wasn’t exactly the greatest person back then…but…it was small, and comfy there. I always felt like I had a place I could return to…somewhere to call my own.”

He smirked. “I have that tenfold here.” Lewis closed his eyes and squeezed the younger Simone, still hugging her tight. “Let me show you around…”

Simone chuckled a bit watching it all unfold. Janus was happy just being in his mother’s arms. It was pretty typical of him. He just watched and played with his sister when he felt like it. He was very much like Lewis in that regard.

Once the twins were asleep Simone held a solemn face. “I’ll miss it too. Though I think Janus will always be a momma’s boy.” She chuckled and smiled at Lewis.

“Now… Where do you two want to sleep?”

“With Lewlew,” they both replied.

Simone held a straight face. “Our bed is going to be so crowded.” Thank gods they had gotten a big enough bed for all of the kids to sleep with them in. At least the younger ones.

The younger Simone was looking around. She was almost in a daze as the original Simone elbowed Lewis and tilted her head towards the younger one. Go make up for stuff. She is probably confused. If anything she was good about herself. The guide had run off to play with Everett and Alshaya who were happy to see her.

Lila huffed. “Play.” She shook her head.

There was a grunt from Janus. “Bad Lila.” His sister pouted, but relented and let the two Simones down. That earned a smile from Janus. “Good Lila.”

“No fun,” Lila sighed. “More play.”

“You can play normally,” Lewis said with a smile. “But not like that. You know better, Lila.” There was a sheepish look from his daughter, followed by an innocent one as she portaled into the Guide’s arms.

“Guide Momma!” she squealed. “Play!”

Lewis smiled as the two Simoens went off and played with Lila, resulting in a surprisingly very tired Lila when it came for nap time. Lewis and Simone showed the Guide and younger Simone how they put them to sleep. Janus was always more than willing, but it was Lila, even now as she was tuckered out, that was the stubborn one. It didn’t take long for her to pass out, though.

The four of them slipped out of the room, and Lewis smiled. “It’s like this almost every day. I’m going to miss it when they get older…”

Simone snorted once more at Lewis. “You think it’s funny but…” Did she have to tell him? You are going to get pounced. She patted him on the back. And you thought my sex drive was terrible. Another back pat.

As they entered the castle Simone’s smile came back as the babies were in her arms almost instantly. “Hello my darlings~” She gave them kisses and watched as they looked at the two other hers.

“Can’t you feel it? They are both me. I know it's weird but this is Guide Momma and Younger Momma.” Janus’s eyes got a bit big at the prospect of three of his favorite person but in the end, he didn’t have the energy for it and just clung to her. Lila held out her arms and the guide held her first before the younger. She still had a questionable look on her face.

“It’s just for a few days you two,” Simone chuckled.

The guide was ecstatic, “We had our own babies!”

“Not conventionally… They were born from magic. They were unexpected but we love them unconditionally. They are a special gift.” Simone smiled at Lewis. “Aren’t they?”

“Play?” Lila looked up to the other Simones then back at her parents.

“Sure!” The Simones said together and the original just sighed lightly.

“Be careful. Their play isn’t what you would think it is…”

“What do you mea–” They were floating in the air and Lila was laughing.

“Help!” They were pressed against the ceiling and Lila was giggling.

“You shouldn’t torment them like that Lila…”

Xeik huffed, crossing his arms and turning away. “I am not a pervert!” Yet there was an obvious blush about him. He was in the room with three naked women and a Goddess.

Lewis rolled his eyes, taking the potions. “I doubt they’ll get much use.” Still, there was a half smile as he pocketed them and a joking wink at the Simones. “Anyway, we should get home. I feel like the twins are causing havoc, and I don’t want the staff to quit.”

The Divine Mender sighed, clapping his hands. A few of the clergy walked in with clothes, and helped the two new Simones get dressed as the original Simone grabbed her own clothes and dressed herself. Simone opened a gate, and the four of them started to walk through.

“Lewis,” Xeik said before the ex-assassin walked through. “If you need help, please ask me…I don’t mind coming by. Even if it’s to watch the kids for awhile.”

“Thanks, Xeik.” Lewis replied.

The castle was abuzz as three Simones walked in, and the poor wait staff nearly fainted at the sight of the guide and her ‘complex’ tastes.

Janus and Lila teleported into Lewis and the original Simones arms, each of them happy that their parents were home. However, when they saw the additional Simones, they seemed confused at first.

“That was the idea.” Angela answered, “I had no idea it would replicate her.” She went to go poke at the tattoo. “But look, it’s filled in a bit more. I bet it will fill in more once they combine again.”

Simone sighed a bit as she watched her husband get drowned in herself, “I never thought I would see the day you got tired of me.” She had a smirk on her face as she joked with him.

The Simones stared at Lewis with hurt expressions and pouting lips. “Oh, they are going to be the death of you.” Angela was chuckling as she spun some clothes onto them. Simone was already putting her own dress back on.

“We would love to go see the kids!” The guide yelled.

“This is the first time I’ve held any of them,” the other Simone looked sullen for a moment.

“We’re all one and the same…” Simone eyed herself. “You’ve held them but you can’t remember it. I promise.” She didn’t know how to comfort herself since that was still something she struggled with.

“Alright, Lewis.” Angela fumbled around and hummed before handing him a few potions. “Stamina potions.”

“ANGELA!” Simone yelled with a blush.

“What? You can’t blame me it’s my job. Love and lust are two sides of the same coin!” Angela crossed her arms. “It’s probably why Xeik is a pervert now.” There was a playful smile on her face.

As Lewis was smothered by the other two Simone’s, Xeik and Angela looked over what had gone into the tonic she had given the original Simone. After a moment, Angela figured it out, producing a glowing blue fungus.

“Ang…why did you use taarua in this? That doesn’t make sense at all…” He crossed his arms, thinking. “Unless you were thinking that it had something to do with replicating her mana reserves. But…” He glanced over at the three Simones. “Maybe the taarua reacted with her split soul? It copied it over twice, and since there was a hole to fill, the personalities left.”

Lewis pushed the two Simones off of him, gasping for air. “Okay, that’s enough for now. Calm down…” Angela answered Simone Prime’s question, and Lewis paled. “Four days, huh?” He looked between the three. “I think I can handle it for that long…” He didn’t look too confident. “I’m sure the Guide and this Simone here would love spending time with the kids.”

Angela got up and looked over her notes.

“Lewlew!” The guide jumped on Lewis and gave him all the kisses. The younger Simone bounced before jumping on him too.

“I’ve missed you Lewlew!” They were smothering him almost and all cuddled into him.

Meanwhile, the actual Simone was sitting there with a dumbfounded look on her face. So much love was flooding the resonance from those two. “I’m going to get a headache…” The two looked back at her and she noticed they started to filter it. “Thank you.”

Angela pulled out a long glowing blue fungus. “Meet the culprit. It’s this little bastard right here. I’m pretty sure it’s because Simone is a created magic creature but I need more research… We’re lucky we gave her such a little dose… We could have multiplied her even more.”

Simone looked at her smothered husband and then back at Angela, “So… how long will we be like this?”

“Three to five days… The magic was really potent on you combined with how strong you two are… I am leaning more towards four days though… Lewis… Are you going to be okay with three wives?”

When the resonance exploded, Lewis was knocked to the ground just like everyone else. But what he felt was something that didn’t make any sense. Simone felt…different. Very different. He couldn’t quite place his finger on it, but when he stood up and looked at what had happened, he realized just why it felt so wrong.

“The…Guide?”

“And me!” said the younger Simone with a little twirl. “Don’t forget me!”

It wasn’t often that Lewis showed an expression on his face, but this time it was one of shock. “W-wha?”

Xeik groaned as he stood up, and then groaned again when he saw three different Simones. “Oh….oh no…Angela, what did you do?”

Lewis walked up, and poked the Guide and the younger Simone together. “They’re….actually here…” He looked back to Angela. “What…what happened?”

Xeik looked them over, and then looked at the regular Simone, who was now sitting on the table stark naked, next to two other stark naked Simones. “It’s…incredible. They all have a full life force and…the Resonance is split. Most of it is still in Simone…er…the main Simone. But there are traces of it in the other two. Not much, but enough to sustain them.” He glanced back at Lewis. “Can you feel all three of them?”

Lewis nodded. “But…what…how?”

Angela let loose a little giggle, “Please, I command the sphere of love. Do you know what love and lust have in common… The fact that I can tap into it~” She did a little skip over to her desk and a fit of laughter as Lewis complained. “Oh, I highly doubt that. You’ll be fine. I’ve been working on an experiment to help with mana growth. I’m hoping that it will… Help you.”

“Do you know if it will work?”

“No, but that’s why it’s an experiment. Lucky for you your body is very, very durable because I’m a genius. Also because Xeik tided up my study and I found all the books I was looking for. Thank you Xeik. Raine put them in some obscure place I never thought to look in.” Taking the potion she fed it to Simone. “Now Lewis… This might tingle a bit.”

After a few moments, Simone hiccuped, “I don’t feel any different.” She hiccuped again and the resonance exploded in the room knocking everyone but Simone down.

“Wow, the full force of the resonance is wonderful!” Angela yelled from the floor. “I never thought I would witness it.”

“Why are you here? And you…”

When Angela pulled herself up… What she was saw… was three Simones. "Xeik, we've really done a bad now…"

Lewis was trying not to turn red himself, but Xeik wasn’t hiding it. The Divine Mender buried his face in his hands, shaking his head. “My goddess is a child. A dirty brained child…” While he mourned this, Lewis sighed and got up.

“Can you not, Angela? It’s going to make it awkward when I go to do it now…” he said with a dead stare. No one could really tell if this was a serious request, or if he was joking. “Anyway…what exactly are you looking for this time? You didn’t learn much last time.”

Xeik cleared his throat as he approached the naked Simone on the table. “Well…you see this here? On the edges of the tattoo?” He poked Simone’s back, and she shivered. “Sorry…cold hands. Anyway, if you look closely, the edges are frilled here, here, and here. But they aren’t here, here, or here. The tattoo, at least before the twins, was growing at a steady pace. The two of you, as you grew closer, made this bigger. But now, with the twins…”

He pointed to the frilled edges. “It’s struggling here to grow. Which means the twins are siphoning off these specific parts of the resonance. So, what Ang is trying to figure out today is…which part this is, and what we can do to stimulate the growth of it.”

“I know,” Simone squirmed and Angela smacked her bare ass. Simone let out a squeal, unlike anything Lewis had ever heard. “LADY ANGELA!”

“I’m the one who sculpted your ass. I get to hit it too.”

“You are not…” Simone was flustered as she was going to say Angela wasn’t her mother but there was a twinkling look in Angela’s eyes. “Fine whatever. You are my mother.”

“For all intents and purposes… Yes. I. Am. I’ve created a very lovely child this time around.”

Xeik was in the corner stunned. He had a noise leaving his mouth that was borderline shocked.

“I don’t get what everyone is so shocked about. I was merely getting Simone to stop her squirming so I can prod her as Lewis put it. Heaven's sake you all are so uptight.”

“Did you have to slap my bare ass?”

“Doesn’t Lewis hit you harder?”

Those words caused Simone to light up bright red, “That… is beside the point…” Angela had finally found something she could tease Simone with and she was damn proud of herself.

Lewis was sitting back, reading a rather weird book this time around. At least, weird for him. It was a rather complex book on the techniques of growing different crops. While he was waiting on the grapes, he started to wonder what it would take to grow coffee beans. While the family was quite intent on drinking tea, Lewis had tried something quite new to him, and discovered that he loved the taste of coffee as well.

And so, he wondered what it would take to grow them.

Of course, none of this had any bearing on the fact that Lewis and Simone were here with Angela again for another one of her ‘sessions’ as they poked and prodded Simone, trying to figure out what exactly happened with the resonance and the twins being born.

Lewis put down his book, and sighed. “I know, Simone…I’m sorry that they’re tormenting you. It’s important though. Just keep thinking of the twins, and we’ll get through this…”
