Though the Rokkrinu Fair had its terrifying events, rides, and attractions, there were still enough places for the younger guests. Unfortunately for Kija's older siblings' tastes, they were also boring. So much so, that they might have fallen asleep. While they were distracted, Kija had wandered off as always. He was a little boy wearing a white sheet with two holes cut out for the eyes. Underneath the sheet he had his fluffy white cat known as Mups, being partially dragged along as he wandered around the fair. Mups had its own costume though it was just a bat-themed collar. A random fair-goer passed him a pumpkin bucket to collect sweets in, which he assumed to be a costume thing and promptly placed it on his head. With a pumpkin bucket added to his head, worn like a hat, he continued walking through the fair.

There were costumes of other people and kids that he would watch. Some were witches, goblins, skeletons, and he even spotted a few other ghosts. He watched them quietly, observing where they were going and what they were doing. There were screams in the distance but that just made him more curious about his surroundings. The smells of sweet treats and candy drew him closer to a few stalls and games. Unfortunately, the young boy had neglected to bring any silver with him or to ask his older siblings for any sort of coin. Instead of joining in, he resigned himself to just watching them.

His cat, Mups, suggested just borrowing some coins but Kija knew he was too clumsy to get away with stealing. Instead, he just watched the games from a distance, silently cheering when other kids won or when a prize was snatched. There were classic games like pin the spider on the web, pumpkin toss, guess the mimic, and even a little pond to fish out tiny fake sea monsters with a little fishing pole. While he was watching, other adults started steering clear of him. They worried he was an actual spirit due to his silent nature and the fact that he just watched them and did nothing more. Perhaps too many stories with evil children ghosts?
