A young woman with ebony black hair and bright blue eyes plucked a piece of ripped fabric from the stalk of bamboo. She hadn't entered the fog yet but she was facing in that direction. Holding the fabric up to her nose, she sniffed it then began sniffing the air. Stopping for a moment, Attie placed the fabric in the bag resting upon her shoulders. Plucking out a journal, she opened it to the page with a drawing of a little girl. The girl had gone missing for a few days from a village nearby and she had been hired to help find the child. According to the drawing, the little girl named Midori had brown hair and green eyes. Placing the journal back in her pack, Attie began to follow her nose through the thick fog. Sight was as good as useless with the fog hiding the bamboo surroundings. Even sounds were deceiving as there were creatures who would mimic human calls or try to use sound to throw off any travelers. Yet scent and touch were the only two senses that the demons, fae, and monsters couldn't replicate.

The villagers had warned her of the fae and demons. Monsters would attack at the sight of another being but creatures like fae and demons would use their tricks to catch a person instead. There were a few rules to follow if there was an encounter with them. With demons, ignoring them is the best idea. Demons rely on making deals and tricks but those can be avoided if one simply refused to talk to them. The fae were different. With the fae, one had to be as polite as possible but to refuse any gifts and to never say thank you. Lying to the fae was also a poor decision, as the fae could easily use that lie to cause more mischief. These rules whirled around in her mind as she continued to walk through the foggy bamboo forest.

A small figure in the distance caught Attie's attention. As she approached it, she realized it was just an oddly shaped rock. She took a seat on the rock as she began to ponder what to do next. The scent trail was slowly becoming weaker and she hadn't found anything yet. Attie noticed how quiet the forest was and it sent a chill down her spine as she realized that she hadn't heard or seen a single monster yet. Silence in a forest typically meant that there was either a large predator in the area or it meant that the animals considered her a large predator. Either way, it usually meant trouble. Attie continued walking through the forest, following the fading scent of the child.
Badgergoblin

Character Info
Name: Ong Porrys

Race: Half Goblin
Gender: Male
Class: Battle Mage/Merchant Adventurer
Silver: 548
A small wisp blew freely in the air until it stopped over the bamboo forest. This wisp began to spin and swirl until taking the shape of a loose cloud. Slowly the cloud swayed in the sky, growing over so larger as it rotated above the bamboo stalks. As if to entice the clouds and mist surrounded it the purple cloud continued to expand and create thunder in the skies until clear blue tears of rain fell from its massive shape. Lightning struck into the tops of the trees though, no fire began from its strike. In the center of the large cloud, a large funnel grew inversely into the core of the nimbus itself. This funnel span violently creating, shaking the are with more ear piercing thunder and raging lightning. As the funnel reached its pique a small form fell from its core and into the forest below.

His body hit against a few trees and rolled down a hill before landing close by the rock near where the woman sat. Ong's head might have been fractured had it not his a soft tuft of grass. His amber eyes sun round and round before, he shut them. His arm flailed open and a dark purple orb rolled from his hand, down the hill and into a nearby river. Not the most, successful mode of travel even he thought or… at least thought he thought before the world went dark around him. He lay unconscious, a dark streak of blood flow from the side of his green head.  Minutes passed and his eyes opened to see a figure not to far from him. Where had he landed?…the spell required more calculation but, clearly he had to be away from Onnen.

At the sight of the strange clouds in the sky, Attie halted to a stop. The weather clearly wasn't normal and almost impossible to see, as the fog mostly covered the sky anyway. But the fog was a bright grey while the expanding clouds were purple. Little clear drops of rain began to plop down from the sky as lightning began to flash. The massive change of weather and the purple clouds made Attie on high alert. This wasn't normal and clearly the doing of some powerful individual.

A large funnel started to grow inversely into the core of the nimbus, indicating the weather was just about to get worse. Rushing underneath a tree, she did her best to hide from shelter but was careful not to touch the trees in case they got hit by lightning. Instead of a magical wizard, powerful monster, or pretty looking individual; a green goblin fell from the sky and rolled down a hill, landing near the rock she had just been sitting on. The weather seemed to clear but confusion began to dominate her expression. Attie walked over to the creature laying in the grass and began to poke his unconscious body.

"Hey. Are you alive?" She asked

After hearing no answer she wondered if he was dead or not. Suddenly his eyes began to open and he seemed to be alive. Opening up her bag, she looked through the massive amounts of cluttering stuff until she found her medical kit. Attie opened it up and looked for the directions, as she was not a professional healer in any sense of the word. Eventually she found a piece of paper and began to read it. The directions described how to use the role of bandages for injuries. She picked up the role of bandages and attempted to grab the goblin's head.

"I need your head for a moment. Lets see…" She said out loud, "The directions say to wrap the injury in bandages to stop the bleeding. Hmmm"

Attie ended up wrapping up the top of his head and placing a large bow at the top to finish it off. Standing up to observe her work, she smiled with confidence and placed her hands on her hips. This had to have been the best medical work a person could do. Her work here was done!
