At the very center of this large island where the four seasons converge is a large tree. It rivals the fable world tree. The tree is in the four seasons. The leaves delicately change from Terra to Glaciem. Snow falls at one point on the tree where it is hot like a desert on the Ignius point. This tree seems to be the lifeblood of the island and can be seen from the edges of the island. All about the area are large Arriese hydras that have bloomed roses around their heads. While they fight if one is threatened, for the most part, they just go about their own business. Angela has set up multiple ways into the island as way stations for airships and some ports for ships.

To reach the Terra section you must descend the icy steps from Glaciem, or hike through the rainforest that separates it from Ignius. In the Terra section by the river is a beach, here it is usual to find a few grizzly bears feeding in the river. They eat the fish, and sometimes they search just under the sand where crabs hide. They come in varying sizes, some as small as coins, others as big as dogs.

Most of the land in Terra is taken over by a huge wildflower meadow. Its flowers range wildly in colors and size, but thousands of different species are found here. As one venture towards the rainforest at the edge of the Terra section, the flowers lessen in their numbers, making way for shrubs and bushes and eventually for the massive trees of the rainforest.

Deep in the Terra section of the rainforest one can find a deep purple stone palace. There is an inscription above the doors ‘To my queen, may we reign together for eternity.’ The palace is beautiful to behold, it has huge towers with golden domes shining into the sky. Inside the rainforest has started to claim back its land, trees grow in the feasting hall, and monkeys can be found living in the bedchambers. There are rumours that a very powerful Cheshire cat lives in one of the five towers.

Ignius is by far the hottest of the sections. The sun here is blindingly bright and will burn fair skin. It is a grassland like no other, with huge herds of grazing animals that migrate from one end to the other and back again. Ignius is a lazy section, the predatory wild dogs spend most of their days laying under rare pieces of shade. Ignius can be reached by either passing through the rainforest border with the Terra section or by a white bridge over the river to Venti.

All the inhabitants of Ignius all venture to the river regularly. In this river live crocodiles, these creatures wait below the water line to ambush their prey. In the corner of the Ignius section is a huge snowless mountain. It sits high up on a barren sand less desert. There is an ancient myth that says that this barren plateau is the home to the tomb of a dragon. It is made of black rock and towers imposingly above the grasslands with the mountain in the middle. The snowless mountain is, in fact, a volcano; the reason the grasslands are so fertile.

Nomadic people follow the herds across this land, sleeping outdoors in the dry and warm nights. They are a private people and will disappear as quickly as they are approached.

To get to the Venti section, one must cross one of the elegant white bridges on either of its sides. The bridges run over a large babbling brook. Between the Ignius and Venti areas, there are koi fish that swim up and down the brook, almost painting it with their colorful scales.

All throughout this area are large, beautiful trees in the shape of curvaceous women. They giggle and wiggle at one's touch; these are tree dryads. They are flirtatious creatures, especially with men - sometimes, their branches come down to caress one's face. A cobblestone path can be found that leads through the dryads to elevated ponds that waterfall down. Near the ponds, giant flowers sprout up out of the ground, some larger than even the tallest of humans. These are the flora of the Venti season.

Not too far from the ponds is a patch of giant pumpkins. Fairies fly about, making jack-o-lanterns out of them and using fey dust to levitate them to more easily move them to their destinations. Each picked pumpkin is somehow quickly regrown so that the patch is never empty. Following the fey leads one to a small village high in the trees, with the jack-o-lanterns lighting the way up to bridges. These allow human-sized visitors to meet with the larger fey who reside in the uppermost reaches of the canopy.

There are two entrances to the Glaciem section, a white bridge over the river from the Venti section, or an icy accent up the side of a glacier from the Terra section. Those ice steps are treacherous and climbing them takes some time. Upon reaching the top one arrives in a huge white wilderness, this is an empty place, one can walk for days without seeing another sign of life.

Venture north and you will come to a winter forest, where the fir trees claw at the sky. Their dark leaves are covered in snow. There are a few animals in this forest, including several wolf packs. Beyond the forest lies the frozen sea, here creatures such as penguins and seals are found fishing through holes in the ice.

In the dead center of the Glaciem section lies a mountain range, the peaks are tall, frozen and dangerous. Deep in this mountain range, one can find an abandoned fortress made of nothing but beautiful blue ice, it was built by ice elves that are long gone. One mountain is bigger than all the rest, its name is Ered Silme or Starlight Mountain in the common tongue. From here a stream flows down through the mountains, eventually this stream will swell and eventually the water travels through all of the sections.
