It wasn't uncommon these days for Maalik to travel more often thanks to his responsibilities growing ever since the churches were established. The shifter had been rather busy making treks between the Bastion, The Grand Cathedral within the realm and the church in Vilpamolan. Another one would soon find its way into the world, though the location still escaped both him and Reaver as to where. But it didn't concern the former, choosing instead to focus on the goals set upon him whenever a visitor for his lordship arrived, or if someone wanted to join the church or the like. Most assumed him to be the God, which amused him but otherwise didn't go to his head as he explained the situation, at least on what to exactly tell them than the complete truth. 

"The lord isn't here" or "He will be back in a later time", or something of the sort. 

Being an avatar was more exhausting than he'd like to admit. But it was a duty that he would be tied to for as long as his master remained in power, which he hoped was a very long time. 

On today's agenda, he was out in the courtyard going through some of the paperwork regarding funds and whatnot from Vipamolan's church. Aside from some skewed numbers that he had no doubt were related to the private alcohol collection that the twin cardinals shared, everything seemed to be in order and would be delivered to Reaver to finish up later. He would have to make a trip there shortly anyway in the near future. His every watchful and intentive eye kept a good check on any possible errors or "concerns" that could present a problem. A glass of wine was beside him as he slid down and lounged about in his seat. Admittedly he was getting slightly sleepy, though he made himself focus on his work until completion, in which case he took a couple of sips of his drink before he nested up against himself and started to drift away.
