Lost in his thoughts, Serci stared into the black sky, watching the stars lazily morph in and out of coherent shapes. Suddenly, he was aware of a presence behind him. The aura he felt was welcoming and kind, as a voice called out to him. Serci managed to turn around as the temple its self began to rotate as he did. The corners of his vision were blurred, however he could make out Naota laying amongst the thin emerald grass calling out to him. A benevolent smile appeared on its own seeing the god relaxing. Serci recalled his last visit Naota being overbeared by work and stress. It pleased him to see the deity finding time gaze at the nighttime stars.
“Naota…” He said, softly, suddenly remembering not knowing why he was here. “I would ask if I was disturbing you from your busy schedule.” He said, his hands interlocking infront of him. His head tilted to the side to a get a better look at Naota, his golden hair moving with the change. “However, it is that time of the night where time itself doesn’t seem to exist. Almost as if this single moment could never end. It would be strange to include this time of the night in an schedule.” He said, nervously moving his slender hips from side to side. Naota merely patted the ground next to him, to which Serci knelt slightly at his knees, giving a small courtesy before sitting down. He sat close next to Naota, their shoulders almost touching.
Serci said nothing for awhile, merely enjoying the silence with Naota. He gave a sigh of content, setting his feet on the ground, pulling his knees into his chest, wrapping his feminine arms around them. He craned his neck to peer at Naota, commenting about his appearance. “You’re dressed differently than normal. Dare I say it, but you are actually wearing color.” A girlish giggle erupted from his mouth, which Serci quickly covered with a delicate hand. He paused, observing Naota’s comfortable attire, awash in the refracting light that the garden provided. Passionate hues of red ran over his dark vest, complementing with soft shades of green and gold. Seeing him so care free and lax made Serci warm, but also drew his attention to Naota.
“I never knew Kagayaku Yume held a garden like this. I’m sure the entrance wasn’t here the last time I visited.” Serci said, dropping a hand to run his slender fingers the crystal grass. It was cold to touch, freezing almost. Yet his fingers continued to run through the grass, eventually finding the cold soil beneath, letting the loose dirt run between his hand. It was strange to think that Naota had made everything he experiences in the temple. Everything from the details of the crystal gardens, the clarity of the air, the crisp bite of the cold atmosphere, to the swirling motions of the sky above. Angela sometimes talks about her experience in creating her domains. He didn’t quite grasp it completely, but he understood it took a clear vision, pain, inspiration and love. He couldn’t help but wonder what Naota went through to make such an entrancing temple.
“It is beautiful, though. The way the colors drift in your peripherals and the stars moving above.” Serci said, his voice low as a cold shudder ripped through his body. “It’s romantic…” He said, his voice trailing off as he realized the words he was saying. His body ran warm, his pale face grew flush red with embarrassment. “I can see why you come here to escape for a moment.” Serci said, quickly changing the subject, unfolding his knees to cross legs. His arms moved behind him as he tilted his head to look up at the sky, his golden hair hanging in neat strands, pooling onto the ground. “What do you think about, when your eyes gaze too long into the blackness of the sky and your mind wonders?

The image of Naota was sitting comfortably in the Crystal Garden, his own emerald eyes cast skyward to take in the lazy swirl of stars overhead. The light of them refracted off of his own crystalline eyes so that they appeared to be glowing even brighter than they already were in the darkness. Like this, in such a relaxed atmosphere, he was no longer dressed in his usual godly robes. Rather, he was wearing shades of earth: brown, forest green, even black. These had been the colors he was used to before ascending; colors that aided him in blending into many different surroundings, which was necessary during his days as a vampire hunter.
The rich chocolate colored vest he wore fit him like a second skin to give him free range of movement, but today he wore nothing underneath it and simply kept it buttoned. The hem of his charcoal hued pants hugged his hips, but the legs were looser and draped enough for him to be able to make quick movements while also remaining comfortable. It wasn’t often this likeness of him would be seen within the temple, but in this ethereal state it was how he appeared.
His hair sat messy from how many times his fingers had pushed it back so that he could keep his head upturned to stargaze properly. Starlight traveled down through the many different gemstones that made up the very unique plant life of the Crystal Garden. This sent soft hues to pass over his sun darkened skin in the same sleepy pattern of the star’s movements. Crystals that made up the bed of the stream that coiled through the garden sparkled up to backlight the little area he was relaxing in.
Just as he laid back with his hands behind his head, another person stepped through the area. This very person had come to meet with Naota times before, and he smiled as he sat back up.
“Serci,” he said with recognition. With Serci’s fair clothing and hair, he became an ideal canvas for the surrounding colors to flood over. Naota gestured him over and touched the ground next to him,
“Sit with me.” One corner of his lips turned up into a playful smirk as he brought his legs in to sit criss cross, waiting for him.

Serci held his head with slender hands to stop the dizzy feeling that ran through his mind. He stood at the entrance to Naota's temple, same as he did before, but this time was diffrent. He wasn't quite sure what was diffrent but even the air felt light and made of feathers. His whole line of sight twisted and morphed as if Naota's temple took on the properites of ocean waves. Was he dreaming, Serci wondered. He couldnt recall the journey to Naota's temple, but nothing felt terribly amiss. However, he found it strange that he stood by the glowing temple door with out knowing his purpose of visiting. Puzzled, Serci pushed open the ornate doors and continued into the realm of dreams
The halls were diffrent, also. As the polished silver shined against the sides of his vision, the ruby flames burned more brightly than he once remembered. He continued down the fluctuating hall way and traversed the stair case that moved as Serci did. Confused more than ever, Serci studied the floor. Ontop the smoothe and clean royal red carpet sat a shimmering light. It was almost a iridescent ball of light, and curiously made a path weaving through tables and chairs finally painting a large pair of doors that Serci missed during his last visit. Sighing, with a small bit of annoyance at the lack of sense his visit made, he pushed the doors aside, continueing back outside.
As soon as Serci stepped foot into the crystal garden, he was bathed in emerald. Serci's traditionally white clothes even took on a greenish glow as the large emerald structures bathed in the moon light. Serci's robes clung tightly to his small frame, pronouncing his girlish hips and feminine figure. His long golden hair was now dulled with soft red hues from the numerous crystal roses that say in the captivating garden. The stars above swirled above in a gentle, yet unnormal pace. Awash in all the light, Serci was a palate of stunning colors. Only to be expected of the God of Light. But what was the champion of Life and
Love doing here, unannounced and unaware? Was Serci dreaming? It didnt matter to Serci if he was dreaming or not. Infront of all the colors that the lord of light had to offer, Serci stood with his jaw slack in awe.
