As you travel down the main hallway towards the opened common room, you’ll find the delicately slender spiraling staircases that lead up. They continue down the hallway on either side, offering guests different access points to climb up them. Were you to take a spiraled staircase on the left from the first floor, it would end at the second floor of Suishō no Kyūden at the edge of the aventurine room: Keihatsu, the room of enlightenment. This grand library spans the entire left half of the second floor.
Within it one will find floor to ceiling shelves filled with scrolls and tomes. Their paper is soft from age and affection, but kept safe from the dangers of fire. All have access to this vast library, which offers long cherry wood tables with chairs, cozy couches and seats, a pit reading area with pillows lining the edges for people to lounge in, and even two stages: one at either end of the library where lectures may take place. This is a room meant for learning, and while talking is welcome, please remember to be courteous of those around you that may be in great thought. Unfortunately, unless granted permission by the deity himself, no one may take anything from this room out of the Crystal Palace. Each item has its own alert enchantment to help aid in keeping theft down as much as possible.
Glowing orbs of aventurine float midair above tables, seats, and the stages for lecture: light beaming brightly but not harshly from within them to give added light for people to read even far after the sun has gone down. All other light, during the day, pours in from the windows: each one made of a different sheet of crystal.
Lining the wall between shelving are other spiraling staircases just like the ones used to get to the entrances of Keihatsu. From these, one may continue to climb up to the left side of the third floor, which will lead into the sleeping quarters designated for guests.
From the first floor’s main entrance, were you to take a curling staircase to the right side, you would come up to the golden room: a training room just as grand in size as the library, which spans the entire right side of the second floor. Wooden floors make up the room, and on the walls are every manner of hand weapon one could ever want to become studious in. But it is not just melee combat that is practiced here: this is where people may come to learn the skills of holy and light magick from the deity.
The entire back half of the training room shows evidence of said training: the walls lined in silhouette of a misdirected beam of light; or a semi melted wall holster or two from those with an accidental strong burst. Luckily, healing is also offered in the Crystal Palace.
Gold climbs up the crystal walls proudly, adorning the room with reflections of people as they train and practice. While weapons are in no way meant for decoration, each one has a small golden symbol at its hilt or handle with the Lord of Light’s symbol of worship to indicate where it belongs. Like the tomes and scrolls of the library, nothing from this room may be taken out of the Crystal Palace without explicit permission given by Naota. These items too are enchanted with an alert to keep down the attempts of theft.
Natural light comes in through the diamond clear walls, offering pristine sunshine to cascade in and help people keep their sight and footing. At night, the gold on the walls slowly lights up gloriously to continue shining for any night trainers that may want to take advantage of the peace of nocturnal to get their practice in. Just as in the library, corkscrew stairwells are in this room, though there are only two and they are at safe points in the training room to lead up to the bathing areas.
God Rules:i. Has the ability to put any target into a deep sleep.
ii. Unmatched in holy magicks as well as light magicks.
iii. Can shatter illusions by bending the light to show the truth.
