Deep beneath the Nyella’s waves, a stone structure carved from jade and marble lies on the seafloor. Forgotten by the tides and time, it has served an unknown purpose for centuries. But with the flickering of the moons and tumultuous changes in the Luna Sea, this ancient ziggurat has made its presence known once again. The only way to access the Eytelia Ziggurat is through Sihajja, as the city’s protective bubble allows people to bypass the powerful underwater currents to arrive at the main door.
There is only a single path to enter the ziggurat, as the strong currents, deep trenches, and low light levels make other paths impossible. The waters surrounding Eytelia are also infested with numerous creatures of the deep–most that never see the light of day. Those who wish to take on the ziggurat’s challenges are advised to not stray from the path to the main entrance, lest they be swallowed up by the denizens of the depths.
Inside there are seven doors positioned around the nexus of the ziggurat. There are six branching doors from this central area and a seventh in the middle, which can be only opened with the six keystones obtained from successful completion of the trials. The nexus of Eytelia acts as a commons area for visitors to rest and recuperate from the challenges. The smooth moonstone and jade walls are illuminated by luminescent stones carved into the shapes of aquatic life and the moons. A large floor mosaic is arranged into a depiction of the world tree Onnen with Parvpora and Canelux being held within its roots and branches.
As people complete the trials in the ziggurat, two Moonstones are gradually recharged with energy. One of the stones is red while the other is blue, representing the sister moons.
Trials 1.
[Trial of Forbearance]: A test of perseverance, this chamber is composed of a lengthy corridor lined with various traps and obstacles to impede your path. If you get hit you are sent back to the beginning and healed of any damage you take, however, your progress through the trial is completely reset.

[Trial of Knowledge]: This chamber presents the participants with various puzzles which must be solved before the entire room fills with water. The door is sealed shut once someone enters, and cannot be opened without completing the timed challenge.

[Trial of Perception]: Upon initiating this trial, participants are transported into a strange chamber resembling the inner workings of a life-sized puzzle box. To complete the challenge, one must find how to open the puzzle chamber from the inside-out. Then they would be transported out and see the box they worked their way out of.
4.
[Trial of Celerity]: One of the simpler challenges out of the six trials, participants are thrown into a maze with small gremlins in tribal masks who attempt to crush them with boulders. These boulders also have the unusual ability to change in size, so don’t expect that to slow them down. To complete the challenge you must find the exit of the maze before you are caught by the chanting masked ones and rolled flat–or stabbed by their pointy sticks.

[Trial of Memory]: This chamber presents challengers with a series of buttons which must be pressed in time with the flashing symbols. Should you miss one, the entire sequence will start over. The more people you have in your group, the more difficult the patterns become, so do not expect numbers to give you an advantage here.

[Trial of Insight]: The trial takes place in a chamber with several panels which must be pressed in the correct order. There are wall panels of frosted glass that are impervious to scrying here. Should you press a panel out of order, that panel’s symbol will flash briefly before a wall retracts releasing a monster into the room. You then must defeat the monster before retrying again.
7.
[Treasure Chamber]: When all the six trials have been completed, the six keystones obtained from the other rooms open the final door revealing a large circular chamber filled with treasures and artifacts long hidden from the world. However two large stone statues tower over the treasury: a mysterious humanoid being with four faces and four arms, each bearing a different weapon and expression; and a snake-haired woman with the lower body of a great serpent. Upon sensing an intruder’s presence, they will come to life and present those who have overcome the prior trials one last challenge.
