Area 1

However you get to the Soul-Stream didn’t really matter in the long run. Everyone ends up in the same place. Viata Aterizare is a series of broken floating isles of vibrant purple oddly much like the floral of Feeorin Forest. The mist, clouds, skies are all brilliant shades of blue. Up in the sky, but looking ever distant, is a large yellow sunflower obscured by the hazy strange blue clouds. It shines brightly just like the Sun of Revaliir. The climate is warm but not terrible, always described as comfortable even to those who are forever cold. This would suggest that the Soul-Stream is no one temperature for everyone. It is a comforting place or so it appears on the surface.

Viata Aterizare’s isles are plentiful. Gushing rivers flow through the broken lands not only down into the deep dark abyss but also through the skies as if the ground were holding them up. Strange gemstone fish of many colors swim through these rivers through the skies and over into the deep distance. The islands are covered in many different florae. The flora can be any kind of flora, which fits considering the Goddess of Life and Earth is the owner of these lands. At the end of every platform, you’ll find a boat to sail the freeform rivers, shaky and looking as if it could fall apart any moment… or you could be adventurous and take a look not too far from the boats.

What a curious thing you’ll find next to the boats. This alternative way of traveling wouldn’t even come across your mind if it wasn’t for the very obvious sign that reads as follows: Jump on it and find yourself where you need to go! The sign points to a rather large ominous blue and purple Portobello mushroom. Should you choose the adventurous route you find yourself catapulted across the Viata Aterizare and into the next area. Should you take the boat… it will take a bit longer as you go from island to island getting to the next river passage.

Area 2

Should you take the boat you’ll eventually find a harbor past the floating islands. This harbor looks jolly and festive. Decorated for spring with all the bright colors one would expect. The archways are much like those in Ataiyo but painted in an eerie deep red color. When the sun hits it just right the color shifts to a more pleasant marigold orange. However, what the sun hides should be cause for concern. Or should it? Passing into the main building of the harbor things begin to hover around you, objects oddly but not you or living creatures. They’ve lost all their gravity and are aimlessly floating about. Every once in awhile a quake booms and shakes the entire place sending all the items in a spastic dance about the room. Careful, you don’t want to get hurt.

The Gradina de Suflet is a garden. As ominous as it was getting here the garden seems a bit more out of place. Souls of the dead that are getting ready to reborn are rooted into the sooty black ground as if they were trees, bushes, and even flowers. The once cheerful sunflower in the sky has become an orchid moon of a pure white, much like the ghost orchid. Some are cocooning up in large paper mache trees painted deep aqua. Their cocoons look to be made of vibrant multi-colored crystals. Some are even cracking and when they are released their once humanoid bodies are gone leaving a small crying soul much like an infant. These souls are picked up by the Vanator, a servant to the goddess Angela. He works in silence, always caring for the precious packages that grow in the Gradina de Suflet. If one were to watch him long enough you would be able to spot him placing the infant souls down into little paper boats, colored soft green with accents of brown. The infants have a ceremonial wreath of red roses placed around their souls as they sail into the final stages of the Rebirth Soul-Stream.

The other souls that grow or rather destroy themselves here to be reborn have different ways of accomplishing the same thing as the paper mache cocoons. Their beautiful crystallized buds on the flowers grow up around them and slowly at the top open up into a magnificent rose blossom. In the centers of these flowers are the reborn souls. The methods are different but the result is the same.

Something lurks within the Gradina de Suflet though Angela wouldn’t call them dangerous. They are rather mad but other all she does like to have a spot of tea with them. If you arrive right on time into the garden you can find the white rabbit endlessly pounding onto a sundial as if you are late for an engagement. Should you choose to follow him you arrive at a large crooked table. It is filled with many, many different teapots, teacups, and other dinnerware. They are broken, kintsugi made, whole, different makes, different colors, and… some are even cut down the middle but defy logic as tea stays in them! Mikelos the Mad rules this party and he won’t forget to tell you all about it. Crenas the Hare-Shifter is singing sweet tunes from who knows where, it sounds like gibberish even if you know all the languages of Revaliir, and Tibalt the Gray, a small mouse that lives in the hat upon the Mad Man’s head. He comes out and serves sugar cubes if he likes you enough.

The journey of madness you could face with Mikelos is enough to make you lose track of time. Time might just be against you if you cannot escape the Rebirth Soul-Stream before the way out closes! However, should you escape his mad ravings you will find yourself at a split in the black sooty earth as a road of silver bricks appear on either side.

The signs are all messed up as they point up, down, sideways, and both ways say the wrong way. If you are very unlucky the neighborhood cheshire cat Lesure shows up to confuse the way even more. He is much like the sphinxes of old lore. Though his riddles are often too hard to solve. If you go without his guidance down the wrong path you fall through the world and loop right back to where the crossroads are once more. He is there laughing and you see that the signs have changed once more. He is there to remind you that this world isn’t static. The pathways change which way is right. Maybe you can guess correctly and end your torment early? Or you could solve one of Lesure’s maddening riddles.

Area 3

The correct road of silver leads into a grove of silver trees decorated with gold leaves. The metals are very much real and you could spend time collecting them if you wished. The direction to the Inima de Argint is through this way. The way is winding and weird but if one concentrates hard enough and finds the clues you will find your way to Inima de Argint just fine.

Once you clear the Silver and Gold Grove you find yourself in the courtyard of a large glistening silver castle. The sun above is a beautiful pink peony that lets its rays shine down onto the silver bricks. Waterfalls surround this area all around, on every side. The only way to go is in. The doors open for all who come opened by animated Rose Soldiers with heads of multi-colored petals.

They take you to the throne room whereupon it sits someone who isn’t mad looking, strange, or even feels out of place. She is tall and thin with long brown curls. Her eyes are just like Angela’s. Her skin a sun-kissed color that glimmers against the silver decor of the castle. She sits on a large throne made from the silver and gold trees from the grove. Beside her is a tall and muscular man. His eyes are the same as the woman beside him but upon his head is snow like white hair. They introduce themselves as Serenity and Kyoto. If one were to know Angela they would be in shock but they are not shy they will tell you what you either do or don’t know. They are Angela’s long gone parents. This was where she lets them live. Their love never dying in an enchanted world. They are the keepers of the Orbire Piscina. Originally, they were the ones who approved who came and went from Prapasite de Renastere but when the corruption happened Kira forced them back into a corner. Kyoto explains that this is revenge for him ending her life when they were living.

They take you to yet another large river. It is a river of glimmering bright blue. It flowers from land into the deep black abyss. The king and queen tell you that the world has started to corrupt little by little. The dark abyss was once a shimmering meadow that welcomed the souls to a new life. The river is called the River of Forgotten Memories. It is made from the tears of those who passed, these are their happiest memories. The river itself has a light and warm feeling if one were to touch it. Above the harbor is an archway with the saying “Fericirea ghideaza toti.” or Happiness guides all in Arriese.

The boats here are made of pure silver. They are soft and malleable showing no impurities that most smithing could cause. They promise it will hold as it is Angela’s will. They will wish you luck and speed as you leave their home.

Area 4

Going into the dark abyss that Kira has created raises goosebumps on the neck of most who come this way. Swirls of corruption colored a dark purple can be seen even in the dark black. A bleeding moon hangs overhead. The world is tinted in a ghoulish red. However, far off one’s eyes can see a bright blinding light coming from the Orbire Piscina.

The ground has become dried and cracked even for it being a sooty black. The life in this area has been drained completely. Islands of basalt line the way for people to make it to Orbire Piscina or the Blinding Pool. The souls of the reborn who were unfortunate to get caught in the spider web hang with their cries. They sit in iron wrought cages screaming for liberation.

Kira stands against the red color of the world. Her form swirling with the corrupt aura that Angela had warned about. Her skin appears to be cracking but she will still come at you with a deadly force. She is a skilled swordswoman and magician.

When one defeats her the world fades into a warm light. It feels like a loving embrace as the world starts to shake, breaking apart from the ground up. You are suspended in the bright light for only a few moments before you lose sight. Once the sight is restored. You are in a giant open roof sea cave. The skies above the cavern a glimmering night sky filled with thousands of stars with a Moonflower acting as the moon. The Forgotten Memories flows through the cut stone into a giant blinding pool of white light.

Kira lays passed out on the ground. Her skin revitalized and the aura gone. Her breathing is heavy as she awakens. She is lost and confused as she has been for the last two millennium since she lost herself to the corruption. She will apologize and fade from sight. The way out has now been opened. There is another archway above the pool now reading “Lumina de la capatul tunelului apelurilor.” or “The light at the end of the tunnel calls.” Dip your body into the water to safely make it out of Prapasite de Renastere.
