A unique statue stands in a clearing not far from the walls of Adeluna city.  The statue is quite unique - one half is carved completely out of pure white marble, while the other is hewn from pure black obsidian.  The two entirely different materials are fused seamlessly together.  The statue depicts a woman, balancing scales held up in her left hand, while her right hand grasps a gleaming sword.  Cloth is wrapped across her eyes, blinding her.

If one wishes to visit the realm of the Blinded Scales, home of the Justiciar, one must only come into physical contact with the statue. Contact with the statue immediately transports one to the Justiciar’s realm. On a plateau high above the realm, it is quite apparent that the Blinded Scales take shape of a bustling city with one drastic difference. Each side of the city is an exact replica of the other - the buildings of the eastern side seem to be made of the same black obsidian material the statue has, where the buildings of the western side offer the same white marble.

The dark side of the city - named Malum, as indicated by a wrought iron archway, embodies pure evil. While there are really no denizens of the realm save Dalanesca, the realm’s mysterious nature conjures imagery of whatever depraved and horrendous thoughts any traveler possesses should he or she choose to travel through that section of the realm.

Choosing the lighter side of the city, named Sanctus as designated by a golden sign, offers purity. Travelers who choose this path to the Justiciar’s dwelling have the chance to see every thing their own pure thoughts embody - happiness and good. While many a traveler claim to have seen loved ones who have passed on, it is necessary to note that they are merely projections of the traveler’s thoughts.

Unlike other realms, the Justiciar has set up few barriers to reach her abode. The only trials and tribulations travelers must face are that of their own moral compasses as they pass through either Malum or Sanctus.

Upon reaching the city centers, everything takes on a split hue of black and white, much like the statue used for entry to the realm. A large marble building resides here, wherein one can find Dalanesca, the Justiciar, along with her quarters and other aspects of the courthouse-styled building she calls her home. A room exist solely for her to visit with arriving travelers, while a few of her Magistrates bustle about, communing with those waiting to see the Justiciar.

Travelers who have returned say that Dalanesca is more than happy to help them with whatever it is they come to her seeking, but she does not offer counsel without a favor… But it is hard to say what that favor may be.

No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold… nothing satisfies me but your soul
