Solomon's heavy boots resounded through the corridor, clutching Sybille's hand as they ran for the deck. All around them passengers panicked; women soothing their children in vain, men seeking answers to what is happening. The crew shouting commands back and forth, some in confusion some in urgency. The Silver Dove was a great airship from Tarishitar. Every now and then it would make a great voyage to Canelux, the Counts Blaque had decided to take the trip, but what a coincidence it was that it would crash over the ocean by malfunction of the engines.

The Eldritch were aroused from their sleep, hearing screams and things break as people fled. They barely had time to dress themselves when screams got louder and the smell of smoke filled the corridors. Solomon only had time to wear some pants and boots, black pants. And Sybille luckily was already dressed in her red night gown, grabbing her matching night robe just in time before Solomon dragged her off. Holding hands they pushed through the crowd trying to make it to the deck to see what was happening.

It was dark and storming outside, people were pushing one another to race for the safety boats. Miniature ships of the Silver Dove but there weren't enough to accommodate the entire airship, and so the race began to live. Sybille was grateful that it was dark out, for if she saw how high up they were she would surely feint. Only the lanterns that were swinging from walls lit up the way, and the occasional lightning that flashed high in the clouds. Were they hit by lightning? Sybille wondered. "Stay close." Solomon said as he tightened his grip on her hand while guiding her through the crowd. They were by the railing waiting in line but as the chaos grew they quickly realized that there would soon not be room in the emergency boats.

Looking down the rail the Eldritch could see an orangey glow coming from the bottom parts of the ship, the engine rooms. "Must've been lightning after all." Solomon said as he held Sybille close to him. Sybs wrapped an arm around his torso while looking around. The Eldritch stared at each other for a brief moment as the wind and rain hit their bodies, they knew that they wouldn't be getting on those boats. And as the ship began to tilt downwards Solomon took her to the back of the ship. They were crashing over the ocean, so they had a chance to survive it if they jumped in time. Lucky for them it was dark out which peaked their powers.

It was a matter of timing now, Standing on the edge of the railing they held hands and waited until they could see the water underneath them before they both jumped. Both Solomon and Sybille created a force field of dark energy as they dove into the ice cold water. The next moment the ship fell as well and slowly began to sink, the current dragging the Eldritch under as they fought to reach the surface. Seeing as they struggled Solomon decided to partially shift into his true form, pale and slick tendrils sprouting from his body as they propelled him forward much like the limbs of a cephalopod. He carried Sybs in his arms as he broke the surface and slowly reverted back to his human form.

Lightning lit up the skies and showed the varies debris that was scattered about. A piece of wooden wall proved the only big enough to carry them both as they slowly drifted away, exhausted and unsure about their future…

They've been adrift for a couple of days now and still no sign of land, or a boat, or anything. At this point they would even welcome pirates. Sybille was resting her head on Solomon's lap, napping and saving energy. Solomon was glancing around, humming sea shanties he picked up when he had visited Vilpamolan once. Ah…the mercenary days. Those were fun but they couldn't help loving the 'noble' lifestyle as well. He was looking up at the  sky, cursing the sun for existing when their raft suddenly hit something hard.

Both startled as they looked behind to see what it was that they hit. Their mouths fell open at the sight of the Starlit Manor. "How does such a large structure like this stay 'undiscovered'?" Sybille wondered. "Who cares," Solomon said, "I want food!" He jumped in the water and pushed on on side of the raft as he tried to guide it towards the …the…whatever this structure was. House? Boat? The Nautilus?
