Hiro Kouen is an adventurer and hero from another realm (DaeLuin), son of famed hero Sabishii and his wife Seraphia Kouen. He idolized his father, and was born with powerful fire magic and affinity, as well as a latent for swordsmanship. He trained with his father, learning how to wield both swords and magic in concert. He learned about magical theory, how to wield different kinds of swords, as well as basic skills in other weapons He even learned archery from his father's old friend, Blaze the fire elf. Hiro was a young prodigy in combat and magic. The world of his origin collapsed, Hiro was lead into a portal to safety, arriving in Revaliir, though the trip messed with some of his memories, causing him to forget about the experience of losing his world through an apocalypse. He arrived in Revaliir, and started to make a name for himself, believing he had asked his father for permission to explore the world upon his 16th birthday and ending up in Revaliir through a portal.

Upon starting to miss his father's presence, he met with Lady Moliira, then Goddess of the Hunt, and she managed to reawaken latent memories within him. He remembered the apocalypse in DaeLuin, and his father saving his life. They were able to track down his father's location: a containment cell within another, unknown world. Moliira managed to open a portal to that world, and they saved Sabishii, Hiro's dog Ember, and rescued a group of other prisoners in that world. Hiro and Sabishii made a life for themselves in Revaliir, though Sabishii's life was cut short when Dalanesca and Xunatar began a reign of terror, unleashing the powers of the Seven Deadly Sins upon the world. Hiro and Sabishii ascended the tower were the two Deities lived, and requested the two Gods stop their reign of terror, and came to blows with the Gods. Hiro survived the battle, but Sabishii was incinerated by infernal hellfire. Hiro managed to escape alive, but he was badly shaken up by the experience. Taking time to recover from the battle, he managed to stand back on his feet again, and move forward in life once more, taking up the sword once more, and restarting his training. His current goal is to master the other elements, like his father had been able to use elements other than fire, and surpass his father's control over them.

Personality - Kind, brave, righteous in spirit. Willing to stick his neck out to right wrongs, to put his life at risk to fight evil. Generous to friends and those in need of aid. He is not as much of a crusader/paladin as his father was, for he is willing to break with honor to do what is needed to right wrongs, but doesn't have a full aversion to the law. He idolizes his father, who he saw as one of the greatest heroes of DaeLuin. However, he can be cocky at times, and overconfident, due his nature of being talented in combat and in things magical. He usually acts alone, not wanting to put other people at risk to achieve his goals, but can work with other heroes if need be. He shows great respect to the deities of the realm, though he hates Xunatar and Dalanesca for killing his father. He is also respectful to elders.

Companions: Ember - Female - fire elemental dachshund (wiener dog), a female dog (often called a 'Hot dog' with ties to the elemental plane of fire. A diminutive, but steadfast companion.

Bastard sword - a common, though masterwork blade.
Wildfire Blade - Phoenix Blade.
Squallfrost - Sapphire Blade.
Empyrean - Elemental sword, reforged from the remains of Sabishii's magic blade Temenos. Capable of attuning to the elements, and taking up to two elemental properties at once and acting as a focus for magic, wielded as an Enchanted weapon or a common sword.

Phoenix Wings - Phoenix Bow.

Phoenix Talons - Pair of fire resistant Pendragon Gauntlets.

Crimson Armor - Subbed from dragon scale armor.

Phoenix Mantle - Mantle of Fire Protection.

Various other magic trinkets and weapons.

Neolani was a beautiful mermaid from Feeorin Forest who specialized in underwater magicks. She crafted this hairpin out of pearls and other objects that have made it into the lake city. It’s enchantment amplifies hydromancy of all kinds.

Shadow Cloth

Cloth tainted by copious amounts of spectral energy, shadow cloth comes from banshees and other, higher wraiths. Few are the people that can acquire it, for the fabric must be extracted from the subject while it is still “alive,” and the process almost never occurs with a willing subject.

Lucky Crescent

A silver coin infused with a bit of luck by the Goddess Shiloh. In order for it to work it has to be inside your shoe while wearing it… Weird just like her. It has a ferret stamped on it.

Raine's Bluebell

Created as the first real project given to Angela’s avatar Raine this bluebell flower has sapphire gemstone petals and when moved or shaken rings like a clear bell. True to her status as Revaliir’s Bird Ambassador and “Bird Rights Activist Leader” this bell summons doves. Why you would want to do such a thing… Who knows.

Living Amulet

A beautifully crafted necklace with a radiant gemstone pendant. It feels warm almost like a hug, like it had only just almost gotten done cooling from the warm forge it was crafted from. It seems to emit a soft light and a small heartbeat comes from it.

Angela's Golden Cornucopia

Golden fireflies float around this solid gold cornucopia at all times. These graceful little bugs keep the cornucopia floating whenever it is not in use so that it is not violated by any tainted surface it may be around. Flowing from it is a rush of green magic like a roaring waterfall. The magic falls and dissipates into nothingness. It is owned by the Mother and a very sacred object… Why she agreed to let you borrow it… Only she would know.

The Golden Cornucopia provides a healing aura to not only the holder but also the area surrounding it. It is capable of healing or providing food but not both at the same time. In the hands of a mortal it’s capabilities are small but helpful. Use it wisely for the affects only last a short time and it takes time to gather Angela’s vast magicks.

Reaper's Scythe

Permanently stained with blood, legend has it that this weapon is meant to separate a soul from its body so completely that it cannot be resurrected unless by a God. Though this scythe appears to lack the ability to do so in its current form.

Yoyuki's Quiver

A magical quiver enchanted to never run out of arrows, replenishing its stock once all have been used. The arrows produced inflict temporary paralysis on targets. This quiver has a max of 15 arrows you can use per thread.

Snowflake Cloak

An item made of enchanted snow, this cloak glistens brightly in any kind of light without ever melting. Nowadays, they are frequently used as fashion statements as well as a mirrors, but the original snowflake cloak was apparently cursed to never let its owner go.

These specialized seeds have been handed out with a slingshot. People have been instructed to try and hit as many Eldritch beings as possible. The seed pouch seems to be never ending… I wonder what will happen with them.

Benitoite is a rare, blue crystal found only in areas of the earth where cold meets hot. It typically forms in serpent like veins that shimmer brilliantly under the right kind of light magic. The most common areas that these crystals have been found are in the Ancense and Zujiuchu Mountains, though some report them being found in Sarchu Valley as well.

This allows for the caster to get away or find a safe place to hide... Or if one is daring enough, allows one to get an attack of opportunity.

This spell allows the user to adapt their body to the temperature of their surroundings. It provides no outward change in physical characteristics or other racial traits.

Grease

The caster can shoot out a grease-like substance from their hands causing the terrain to become slippery. This grease is flammable so be warned as it can hit both caster and targets if not careful.

Thousands of years ago this stone was actually a tree. Fire opal can be found growing within from water filling the cracks while it was alive.

Assassins as well as mages covet these artifacts for their effectiveness as tools. They are frequently found around the border of the swamplands east of Adeluna

Cursed Ankh

When removed from tombs without permission, certain artifacts take on the vengeance and memories of the person they were buried with. Ankhs are notorious for this type of curse, especially when taken from crypts in Abed or Harena. Yet those curses don’t tend to stop enchanters from collecting the items they are attached to.

The Cursed Ankhs have proven useful in providing minor, elemental enchantments of Ghost type.

Gemstone Fish

Native to the Xhosa Archipelago, these fish are known for their crystalline bodies and iridescent scales. Their bright colors warn potential predators that they are highly toxic.

Common Trousers

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

Common Tunic

A simple garment which might resemble a long shirt that stops somewhere between the wearer's hips and ankles. The sleeves may be long or short, depending on the local climate.

Fire Ball

The caster summons a ball of fire and hurls it at their target.

Fire Breath

The caster exhales a blast of fire, burning and damaging a target.

A sword called Kindness...yes kill them with kindness! This sword is a majestic masterpiece that speaks to its owner. It is far better to kill with kindness than to hound an enemy with insults.

Ded Moroz's Snowflake Battleaxe

When the first son of Glaciem came into being he was gifted his grandfather's axe. It had a harsh, glacial atmosphere to it, and, if one not prepared touched it, could give frostbite, often causing the loss of one's hands. The axe itself glistens like newly fallen snow and frozen glacier water. This axe only accepts one owner and tries to freeze whoever else touches it. Be prepared to be worthy or to become the next ice sculpture.

This dragon hails from the ice lands. Its powerful roar can be heard throughout the lands of Revaliir as it flies overhead during Glaciem. Its ice breath is something that many fear and even its scale have a glacial atmosphere to them.

Kite Shield

This specially-shaped shield resembles a tall kite, and allows better protection of one's foreleg compared to round shields.

Pouch

A little belt pouch for one to put their coins or jewelry into.

Backpack

A hardy pack, with two straps that allow it to be worn on one's back. It's ideal for carrying supplies while on the move.

Teleport

This spell allows the caster to instantly move to another location, so long as they can see their intended destination.

Signet Ring

An engraved ring that bears the emblem of royalty, nobility, or one's family. Typically used as a seal for letters, official documents, or as heirlooms.

Christmas Tree Ent

Normally a very slow guardian of the forests this fir ent is decorated for the holidays! Let your enemies feel the festive violence of the holidays as your trusty Ent stomps its way to victory!

A basic light source, a torch is usually a stick with a combustible material at one end, which is then set ablaze.

Used to sharpen objects.

Consecrate Weapon

The caster blesses a weapon, allowing it to deal holy damage for a short time.

Angela's Crystal Chalice

A beautiful chalice made from ancient crystal. The stem of this chalice is made out of abalone shell pulled from shells found in the deepest part of the ocean. This chalice can turn any toxin into its antidote but one must have enough toxin to effectively make a good antidote.

Eterna’s Bottled Tears

Mages have, for a long time, sought the tears of a phoenix. They are treasured above most things in the magickal world. Eterna had been the companion of a mage’s from the college, and every time she had been reborn she bore her tears for him. These tears, when worn or placed on one’s person, enhance one’s ability to weave fire.
Enhances fire magic.

Summon Item

The caster summons an item, normally armor or weapons, that they own from the aether.

Tent

A basic shelter, consisting of a large sheet of fabric of animal skin, placed over a frame. A tent provides basic protection from the elements while away from home.

Mendean Fu Ye

Named after the God of Chaos himself and roughly translating to Mendean's Ichor, the Mendean Fu Ye potion induces madness from the fumes alone. The effects are appropriately and completely random to all who even so much as catch a whiff of it, and they can range across the gambit of psychiatric disorders from ADHD to extreme Schizophrenia. Even the user has no idea what will become of them or anyone else they use the potion on. The effects can last for 10 minutes to several hours depending on the amounts consumed, and the only known cures are waiting out the clock or use of the Angela Wan Tou potion.

This spell allows the caster to communicate with plants.

Moral Compass

A black and white dagger with a compass attached to the hilt. Rather than pointing to a direction, the compass indicates the moral standing, or alignment, of those nearest to the holder. In the event that a person's alignment is True Neutral, the compass spins wildly.

Now, with enough silver and materials, you too can hire these shambling tanks of death to serve you. Unlike other military units, they do not decay over time, and can reform their bodies if they are not completely destroyed. Scarab Choker

These scarab shaped ornaments are made from the bodies of the live scarabs that infested the resurrected capital of Aysut. Even in death, they maintain a portion of their master's call, but that call has been bent by the magics of the living. Anyone wearing these chokers can temporarily command the scarab piece to duplicate itself into a small group of illusory scarabs. These scarabs will have eye-shaped hieroglyphics on the back of their shells that the caster can see through, and, so long as the spell remains active, they are completely under said person's control.

An instrument that once belonged to a legendary succubus that used it’s melody to allure those from a great distance. It’s song can be heard from 50 meters and those that fall underneath its spell will fall madly in love with its wielder for a few minutes. Once the song ceases, it is said that the victims are more susceptible to lust for others.

A type of lumbricina that frequently enjoys dark places and thrives on underground organisms. Glow worms grow in mass in the depths of Revaliir and are frequently cultivated as light sources by subterranean races.

Found on Horae Island, these tiny dragons range in sizes from small frogs to house cats, and come in a variety of colors based on what region of the island they come from. They really like sweet things, like honey and candy.

Crafted with the hilt of Sabishii Kouen's blade Temenos, this sword has the power to absorb the elements of fire, water, earth, and wind for later use. Its runic capacity allows it to store a single charge of each, which can be released as an elemental enchantment or a minor magical projectile of the same element. A maximum of two elements can be released and combined to add versatility, though the sword's power can only be used once a day.

Designed from the stories of the elder sister moon which told of her once beautiful wings and how they were torn asunder, this armor allows the user to fly. The armor also offers minor resistances to elemental magic. The wings of this armor are not white but cosmic much like the stories. The cosmos of these wings move just like the sky above.

Blood Ingot

Made from a strange biological ore that is native to Onnen, dragon crimsonite or blood ingot is formed by compressing ash from the Ashlands of that continent with sap from high dragon blood trees - a species of dragon blood trees that form and spread after a regular tree has been exposed to a drop of dragon's blood. When forged into armor, the ore is far tougher than leather, but not to the point of overtaking old-fashioned plate. It is a druid's best friend up until they can acquire a proper witchwood or dragonscale set.

Trees comes alive and grab hold of anyone within the radius of the caster’s spell but cannot move from their location. This spells lasts for as long as the caster puts mana into it thus becoming very draining after a few minutes.

After being attacked the user can return the damage taken with revenge fire, literally.

A glassy yellow or sometimes greenish-yellow variety of quartz.

A boomerang created from skyshards, acts like a normal wooden boomerang, however, this is has bladed edges for distant cutting damage. Just be careful when it comes back to you, don't want to catch in the wrong way.

The beginnings of a rose, this rose hip is an exceptionally healthy specimen. It can either be planted or ground up for herbalism purposes.

Summon the fires of hell itself, causing massive damage, though at a cost to one's soul.

Skyshard Violin

A beautifully handcrafted violin made from skyshards, it never goes out of tune once the violinist has tuned it. Its music always sounds perfectly clear no matter the environment played in its crystal clear. The violin helps to amplify the emotion in the music being played and passes it to the listeners. For example, a calm slow song will help ease people into a calm state, while a frantic and hectic song will have the opposite affect.

Skyshard Lyrebow

A slightly larger than normal lyre made of skyshards, exquisitely crafted and refined its music is sublime. However, the shape of the lyre is that a bow, for in fact the strings, also of skyshard, can be used to fire arrows. The instrument/weapon can create its own magical arrows with each drawing of its seven strings, if one is capable of pulling back that many. Normal arrows can be used as well as is recommended as the magical arrows aren't that powerful, more as a last resort. A finely crafted work of art and weapons combined to make any bard or musician comfortable they are always able to defend themselves.

Crafted from hard beetle horns, these tonfas are well balanced and ready to fight.

Chitinous Armor

Armor made from a large insects hide and natural armor, form fitted for the wearer. Less protective than steel but it is lighter and easier to work with. Spikes can be found on the arms sometimes, the nature of the chitin makes it easy to make to the wearers preferences.

Stinger Rapier

A finely crafted rapier created from a Wasp's stinger. Very strong in its durability thanks to some added magic, the rapier never needs to be sharpened and it will actually repair itself if broken, though it takes some time to do so.

Flame Shot

The caster shoots small fireballs from their fingertips. These small fireballs deal a lot of damage but are easily dodged if the caster isn't careful.

Skyfire Blade

This allows the caster to temporarily enchant their weapon to create an explosion when the weapon makes contact. The explosion is very mild in damage and not nearly as powerful as the Explosion spell itself.

Gate Travel

This spell allows the caster to open a portal to another location anywhere in Revaliir.

Chrysoberyl

A gemstone that comes in a variety of colors such as black, green, grey, yellow, red, pink, brown and orange.

Thunderwave

Everyone in a 10 foot radius around the caster gets pushed back and takes minor lightning damage. If one’s strength is great enough they can withstand the push back. Caster cannot help who this hits.

Fresh blood from a dragon. Can be bought from a dragon for some treasure or taken by force… it’s easier to ask nicely and pay for it.

Lucina's Moonlight Lantern

This lantern was made by the fallen goddess Lucina. She was once considered a saint among the people of Parvpora before the Tree was tainted. She would light the way home for sailors using the moon. She created these lanterns to ward off the evil of her conclave siblings. When the tree became tainted these delicate stained glass lanterns were hidden so she could not destroy them.
Can see through darkness made by magic by ten feet.

Sun's Kiss

A lightweight silver shield accented in black tourmaline. Will absorb any magickal attack when used, and reflect out a short burst of near blinding light magick to give the shielder time to prepare their own returning attack (or flee!).
