Little Facts: She gained most of the looks from her father which means the only thing shes carried on from baba yaga is her magic and eyes.

She despises the lot of the witches who keep her locked up in the bog.

The Now: Seeking her freedom Paulina hired many people in the past to come kill her clan. None up until Gabriel came did she succeed. They killed her clan and Paulina took her freedom. Even though it was short lived because to gain the freedom from her clan she had to sell her freedom to Gabriel. It is unclear how he will make use of his new Bog Witch and Paulina is skeptical about the good it could bring.

Nettlebane

A powerful witch artifact used in sacrifices. Passed down the ages to witches in a particular line, this dagger was stolen as a present for Paulina. When used on a sacrifice victim it absorbs the remaining mana reserves and allows Paulina to harvest it for herself. It is made from the bones of an ancient dragon and painted with the blood of a lich.

Scarab Choker

These scarab shaped ornaments are made from the bodies of the live scarabs that infested the resurrected capital of Aysut. Even in death, they maintain a portion of their master's call, but that call has been bent by the magics of the living. Anyone wearing these chokers can temporarily command the scarab piece to duplicate itself into a small group of illusory scarabs. These scarabs will have eye-shaped hieroglyphics on the back of their shells that the caster can see through, and, so long as the spell remains active, they are completely under said person's control.

Mummies

Originally these highly survivable undead were exclusively the servants of Rudjek, High Priest of Sardon, in his quest to empower the Crimson God with living sacrifice. However, some devious-minded magi were able to capture specimens of these bandaged creatures in order to reverse engineer their anatomy and the necromantic energies that powered them. Now, with enough silver and materials, you too can hire these shambling tanks of death to serve you. Unlike other military units, they do not decay over time, and can reform their bodies if they are not completely destroyed. However, they are slow-witted and slow-moving, much like their weaker zombie counterparts. 10 Mummies per unit.

Psionic Focus

The alternative to a spellbook that most psionics choose to use, this sphere of water is held together by a powerful psionic spell bound to a crystal at its center. It appears like an unstable eye, and the knowledge within can only be accessed via a mental link rather than simply reading words on a page.

Straw Doll

A magical tool used by dark practitioners, this small straw doll bound with twine is useless to one who does not understand the ritual behind such an object. When used correctly it is said they are able to inflict injury and illness on their targets.

A person affected by this spell will begin to feel malicious envy towards other people, desiring whatever they may have. This can make a person more prone to theft or social sabotage, and can adversely affect an otherwise cohesive group.

This spell allows the caster to heal their target at the cost of the user’s own lifeforce.

Mask of Relinquish

Cursed Treasure: A crude iron mask that was once a means of punishment towards the most unruly of inmates. No matter the size of its victim’s head, it fits snugly and makes the person unable to see, hear or talk until it is removed. They are also plagued with demonic voices intruding their minds, leaving them in a state of despair.
One victim was asked what sort of the horrors he was facing as he donned the mask; sadly he was unresponsive save for tearing at it and having some bloody fingers in result.

Sins of the Father: Gluttony

Those afflicted by this spell will gain an almost insatiable hunger for food, particularly of the expensive or exotic kinds. This can help adversely affecting a person’s image, or make them very easy to befriend by the simple means of a tasty meal.
