It is not uncommon to see people that revere the idea of giant monstrous creatures, covered in thick scales and impenetrable armor, elegant and deadly, and as intelligent as any man. Such is an oft thought image of a dragon, although that is… Not entirely the case with Thalron. His sapphire scales are often tarnished and scuffed, and while he is armored, large, and deadly… Elegant, and intelligent are very rarely used in a sentence that has to do with him.
It isn't entirely his fault, he honed the skills that seemed useful to him and ignored all others, and when you live out in the wild that does not include speaking well, looking pretty, or knowing how to spell… Among other things. A swordsman might be a scalpel, but his draconic fighting style could be more closely attributed to that of a well aimed bulldozer. It more often than not hits its target, but who knows what else may be destroyed or lost in the process. He also has a slight tendency to veer off of intended courses if his attention is caught by shiny, or tasty looking things (although what looks delicious to him may surprise you from time to time). Overall though, outside of combat his personality could be categorized as young child, or over sized puppy… Or perhaps some strange combination of the two, with very brief but occasional intense bursts of intelligence… Not that you'd want to count on that surfacing though. Generally he acts 'good' but his morals have some gaps, as do his knowledge of social norms, especially personal space. He's very good at sharing, so long as someone is sharing something with him, not so good at sharing something of his own with other people, such acts are usually more meaningful to him than other people realize. The main danger other than a direct confrontation with him is the chance for him to get frustrated, or overly annoyed, as when he starts to fail at communication to solve problems (which he's not good at) he is quick to resort to something he knows better, primarily violence or being intimidating. He is also somewhat prone to mood swings, which can be intense at times, whether they're good or bad.
Physically he is rather large, about the size of elephant, and still he seems to be growing at an alarming rate. His scales are thick, and a vivid dark blue when properly polished, though for the most part seem to be somewhat dull due to collisions scratching up the surface. His underbelly has a nice golden hue though, that contrasts with most of the rest of his form. The color only matching his eyes, and forward facing almost rhinoceros like horn. Small sparks and the hum of energy occasionally dance across his scales when he's particularly agitated, and his golden eyes have been known to glow in the dark.
