Calanthe is a breathe of fresh air, as her mother describes her. She dances and plays almost every instrument she can get her hands on. Writing songs about all types of experiences she has. She sees the good in everyone and is often the one to remind them it exists. She currently serves as the bond between Angela and Bryn and lives in the Eyrie with him.
Bryn gifts her with fine dresses of celtic design which she loves. Bryn has told her a warrior can only destroy but a bard creates. She sits in on his meetings with people and listens giving advice from time to time. She gives light to his court where normally only darkness would loom.
Calanthe's own father lived on the edge of the Highlands for many years before meeting and bedding Angela. While the woman never knew her father she occasionally hears tales of her father. Perhaps Angela set her to the Highlands to also learn about her heritage something Angela wished her father had been there to teach her.
She is close with her sister Basselina because of their Highland connection. Her father was human and fought in the Godslayer War. It is unknown where he is now only that he has no relationship with his young daughter.
