I - A Foggy History - I
At every crucial stepping stone in Revaliir’s history, witnesses would claim to see a masked figure in black clothing observing from afar, due to his mysterious and presumably primordial nature, stories float around him. Some say he is an ancient deity’s servant, others claim he is a malevolent demon, bringing with him destruction and misfortune.
Behind the mask, however, are multiple men and women, part of the same society, a society that has existed for multiple millennia, dedicated to preserving knowledge from a far forgotten past, stretching back as far as the destruction of the first World Tree, to the most recent event, involving an island that mysteriously appeared out in the blue waters, which may not be what it seems.
II - His name is Hermennia - II
A remarkable individual, no one knows how long Hermennia has been part of the order, he works to collect data in the field for research in the Void Gallery. None has seen him without his mask, and it is debated among his colleagues whether he is actually human, elf, or something else. His demeanor is polite, albeit cold at times. His combat skills have never been accurately measured, as he prefers to avoid fights all together. He is adept at being concealed, paired with his natural agility, he can remain unseen for days on end, only appearing to people of interest.
III - The Void Gallery - III
A grand library, a secret to the world, thanks to the efforts of the old founders of the order, the Gallery holds preserved information, with a few items of interest put on display. Only members of the order, or invited guests, have access to the Void Gallery.
III - Character Stuff - III
Setting eyes upon Hermennia, one would realize he is a strange sight. He appears tattered and elegant in a strange clash of style. His defining feature is, ironically, a featureless mask. He dons a black cloak, tattered at the edges, over ornate dark clothing.
He is unwilling to interact much with others, rarely speaking, unless absolutely necessary to further his own goals.
