Backstory: Leita woke up in Caroline's experimentation room with a lack of memories. Caroline asked her what she remembered and Leita couldn't really explain anything. Caroline carefully explained that she was a creation of hers. That Leita was a combination of two different souls, one dead and one alive. At first Leita thought this was horrible but then Caroline claimed that the alive person that had been used was an awful creature. By combining a good soul with an evil one, the good soul was able to overcome the evil and make her into a neutral person. Leita, desperate to believe that she was not evil and that Caroline was a good person, believed this completely.

Ever since her awakening, Caroline had been training her to be a useful assistant. She still retained knowledge over the basics, such as what color blue is or how to eat. She knew how to speak, talk, run, jump, and fight. But she couldn't ever recall when she learned to do these things. Caroline explained that this was basic information that both souls knew, so therefore she would know it as well even if she couldn't remember how she learned it.

Work as Caroline's assistant was hard. Caroline wasn't always the friendly type and many of her works were kept secret. Leita had to learn about herbs, magic, human behavior, biology, more magic, trade, curses, and medicine. She was taught how to fight and defend herself by Bradyn. Despite not knowing much about swordsmanship, she had a natural talent with swords and scythes. Whenever Caroline needed something done, Leita would be sent to do it. Sometimes it was retrieving something and sometimes it was delivery.

Users should be careful, though, because trying to cheat the circle could cost them body parts. The most common use is turning silver to gold.
