Nicknames & Alias: Kekeji
Name meaning (if any): Mysterious Abomination
Age: 20's
Height: 4'10
Weight: Heavy, very heavy
Gender: female
Race: Unknown
Appearance: Appearing mostly humanoid, especially when wearing her armour and her mask. On the rather shorter side of life with a dark grey metallic skin. Her skin is literally made from metals that flex and bend with her. It's almost as if someone found a way to make living growing metal dipping her from head to toe in the stuff. Along with gold flecks freckles strewn across her body slowly growing in size. With a mouth that would almost rival that of a chomper, she keeps it in check with a set of four piercings two per side. Bright preadolescent gold eyes with jade flex swirled in surrounded by black instead of whites.

With the appearance of tightly woven cables jet black dreadlocks with jade, amethyst and gold streaks strewn throughout. They sit upon her head falling down just above her knees. The sea of black is broken up by stubby tarnished gold looking horns. Long pointed ears poke out from the side of her head with various piercings and such.

Even though she is short, she still has a decent figure due to all the exercise from her various outings and the like. Not that many have ever seen her true form, let alone her true shape. Almost always appearing in leather armour with a long poncho like covering that reduces her to a triangle in shape. Goggles with dark grey lenses help to obscure her odd eye colouring from those she doesn't yet trust. A long fluffy tail that is pulled up through the neck hole of the poncho worn around her neck to look more like a scarf than a tail to hide its appearance from most. The tail is covered in tiny metallic hairs that can be plucked and thrown like needles if need be.

Build: petite, but curvy
Appearance in Age: 20's
Weapons of Choice: Close range, throwing knives, crossbow for ranged attacks
Armour of choice: Leather/ hide
Magical Abilities: Has metal skin, is rarely affected by poisons, liquor has no affect on her, prone to over heating easily, has amazing eye sight no matter how much light is present
Special Techniques: TBD
Backstory:

The mist that covers this part of the city ran thick tonight, which suited her fine. She was used to the mist, for she grew up on these streets. Not in the way you would imagine, and the mist doesn't actually affect her; though wearing the mask does help other things. Growing up here these streets were never truly home. Nothing was really home if she stopped to think about it. Though thinking about it would mean she stopped, and that just wasn't who she was.

No one really knows how she came to be, she's not even one hundred percent sure on the matter anymore. Her past is foggy at best and down right non-existent at its worst. Some days it bothers her more than others, though again she'd have to stop to think. Stopping was never a good idea and was to be avoided at all times. Stopping meant thinking, which lead to massive headaches which begat terrible visions. It was all types of bad rolled into one. All she knew was that she came from here; it's what her tags said.

The woman who had found her said she came with these ID tags of sorts. Something no one in their neck of stacks had ever heard of. The woman who took her in wasn't perhaps the best of folks, but folks nonetheless. In times like these, she learned quickly that one can't be picky and you have to take what you can get. Maybe it had something to do with being raised in a brothel, maybe it was something else. Either way it taught her to always keep your guard up, trust no one, and always look for the best angle.

That was always the aim of the game, what can I do to best help me help you help me. This is how she lived her life, moving from one area to the next. Never staying long, there always seemed to be something or someone was following her. She came close once, almost got a hold of it too, but a lass all she had been an able to get was a scrap of clothing. She kept that piece as a reminder to never stop moving. Not really sure if whom ever it belonged to was good news or bad news; all she knew was that she wasn't going to stick around to find out.

Not really belonging to any class, nomad came to mind when describing her, always looking for the next job, next gig, next pay day. Always keeping an eye out for the next score was something the madam taught her well, and has served her well too. She had a thing for gold, not like an obsession, but a thing. There was this day that she did such an amazing job chasing out the clown who tried to cheat the house that the casino manager gave her an extra gold coin.

Turning the coin over and over in between her fingers flipping it all around her hand, she had never really stopped to look at gold before. Many times it would already be in the sacs that she curried around the place. The best part about her affliction was that she seemed immune to the effects of the mist. It didn't matter how strong the mist was, she always came back perfectly fine. The mist was great at hiding her true form so most never thought much of it; or those that did see were too strung out to distinguish it. Since it appeared that she would not fall ill, the madam of the mansion had a mask made up. This mask covered her entire head and face. It wasn't the prettiest, but it did the job of hiding what needed to be. This along with the rest of her outfit, she could almost pass for human.

The man that gave her the coin snapped his fingers in front of her face causing her to come to. Never had such a thing happened before, where she fell into a trance over a silly piece of metal even. This is when she quickly stashed the coin away on her person and made post-haste back to the mansion. Knowing that the madam would be waiting.

Making it home only a few minutes late, she didn't get beat too hard for insufferable tardiness. If she was any later it would have been far worse, and she knew. After receiving her punishments now sitting in her closet room, she was alone with it. Removing it from her hiding place she fiddled with it some more, that was when something… weird… happened.

All of a sudden there was a pulling sensation at the corners of her mouth, putting her fingers up to investigate; a flash of horror spread across her face. If it wasn't bad enough for all the other mismatched pieces, what else could happen. Feeling at the peeling corners, she traced them where they stopped. Her mouth was now twice the size it had been, her tongue turned forked and her teeth pointed and jagged. She looked at the coin in her hand, and this hunger…. like hunger she had never known. Before she knew it, she was flipping the coin in her mouth.

With a few rounds of chewing on the coin she quickly swallowed it with a loud thump as it hit her stomach. That was when the hunger had finally subsided. Her mouth had gone back to normal, her teeth and tongue now back to what she knew. Hands all over her face trying to find any trace of what had happened, only thing that remained was an indent from where her mouth split. Sitting on her bed, drenched in cold sweat she tried to catch her breath.

Finally, getting her breathing slowed and rational thoughts now flooding her mind she still didn't know what to think. Strange creatures from all over were part of the customs of the land, but a gold fiend? No one had ever heard of such a creature, where did she come from she wondered…. and that was her first mistake.

A migraine hit her so hard and fast the room began to spin, her supper was starting to revolt. Rolling over on the bed into the fettle position, either it subsided or she passed out from the pain, either way she woke up the next day feeling refreshed. The lines from last night remained, scaring her face forever it seems. These were to become a reminder of what happened that night.

That was the first of many terrible migraines to come. Thinking about that night still sends chills up and down her spine. Eventually she did learn to get past the vomiting part of them, but then the visions started. Once those started, any time she got a “migraine” she was flooded with visions, terrible visions; oh how she longed for the vomit days now. With all this in mind, it is what has defined her life. Always chasing the next gold coin pay day, to feed what lays dormant.

Not really knowing what it is that longs for the shiny metal, but not really looking to hard. As far as she's concerned, as long as she eats one piece a day it seems to be satisfied; which seemed good enough for her. Chasing down higher priced jobs and bounties has allowed her to keep the nomadic lifestyle easily with very few asking questions. Even when she's not in the slums of Karith, she always wears a mask.

Those lines never got better they just got worse and deeper each time she fed. They are to the point now where they just never close up, this new revelation happened a year or so ago. Going to a friend she actually trusted, she had something done. That was when the piercings happened. Once she took off her mask, her friend rushed over to take a look; not scared, more intrigued. Now that came with its own box of problems. Her skin was like trying to pierce sheet metal, nothing her friend had seen before. This friend of hers had pierced dragon scales, and even those were not as hard. After many attempts, it finally went it, it took four in total two per side before it was complete. Hoops to help keep the extra flaps on either side closed while not feeding. This way her speech would not be hindered by the new ventilation system.

Once complete her friend looked over at her handy work feeling both the piercing and her skin flaps. She pulled away as her fingers grazed them, quickly putting her mask back on. That was when she flung the money down on the table and took her leave, never to see the piercing artist again. The fact she tried to feel, it felt like a violation of trust, no one should want to touch these, she thought.

Wandering as a masked nomad is whom she is now, but that's alright, no attachments is best. No one gets hurt, no one has to know, no one will turn her over to who ever follows. It seems like the perfect life indeed.
