Appearance and Personality:

With long black hair and bright blue eyes, Genjiro is six-foot bundle of charisma. He has an athletic build and a smile that could melt the coldest frost, but don't be fooled–beneath that charm lies the heart of an innocently silly boy in the purest way imaginable. Gregarious and enthusiastic to a fault, he radiates confidence. He's not the most observant of people due to being spoiled sweet by his beloved older brother and he has a bad habit of overlooking things like etiquette and personal boundaries. However, his wholehearted devotion and genuinely affable personality almost makes up for his shortcomings. Sometimes childish, always curious, and at times too impatient for his own good–Genjiro is the embodiment of good intentions with hasty execution.

He's persistent in a good way and telling him 'no' tends to encourage him to try harder. He enjoys getting compliments and isn't shy to give them either. Genjiro also has a bit of a competitive streak, often challenging his brother Rashomaru in a very one-sided, friendly sibling rivalry. Despite teasing and causing trouble for him, Genjiro loves his brother–sometimes a bit too much. He treats people he likes in the same way, being clingy to where he's a bother. If you're friends with him, you've made a friend for life, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. He'll always have your back, whether you want it or not.

Clothing and Equipment:

Genjiro carries an enchanted katana called Nezha possessing an unique composition which allows it to withstand extremely high temperatures and channel his pyromancy. The flames channeled by the sword are hot enough to instantly sear flesh, melting through lesser weapons and armor with each swing. Golden flames decorate the sword's hilt and red lacquered scabbard, reminiscent of the flames of a phoenix. This blade was granted in a coming of age ceremony where it was christened, named after a legendary sword saint said to have slain dragons.

Talents and Abilities:

Genjiro possesses great strength and endurance as he is a full-blooded oni. Drawing from his oni heritage, he can call forth the power of the inferno through scorching flames and hellfire. His primary weapon focus lies in longswords enhanced with pyromancy. His bloodline grants him increased resistance against fire, adding to his high physical defense. His sword style is more offensive than Rashomaru's–utilizing fast movement and powerful, decisive blows.

Seed Pouch With Sling

These specialized seeds have been handed out with a slingshot. People have been instructed to try and hit as many Eldritch beings as possible. The seed pouch seems to be never ending… I wonder what will happen with them.

Eterna’s Bottled Tears

Mages have, for a long time, sought the tears of a phoenix. They are treasured above most things in the magickal world. Eterna had been the companion of a mage’s from the college, and every time she had been reborn she bore her tears for him. These tears, when worn or placed on one’s person, enhance one’s ability to weave fire.

Lucina's Moonlight Lantern

This lantern was made by the fallen goddess Lucina. She was once considered a saint among the people of Parvpora before the Tree was tainted. She would light the way home for sailors using the moon. She created these lanterns to ward off the evil of her conclave siblings. When the tree became tainted these delicate stained glass lanterns were hidden so she could not destroy them.

Drae's Bottled Starlight

Made by the Keeper to help his children combat their fear of the dark, this vials of thick colored glass can cast a starscape on the walls and ceiling of a room. When placed on the ground of an area or on a shelf, it creates a circle of protection with a 20 ft Diameter.

Phoenix Blade

Forged in the fires of a dying phoenix, this sword has taken part of the flame into itself. When drawn, this sword is bathed in the fire that forged it, melting through whatever it strikes.

Tsukiko's Obi

Crafted from dark blue silk woven in Ataiyo, this wide belt looks innocuous upon initial inspection. The obi, however, is actually woven through with shadowthread, giving its wearer greater strength and endurance at night. This increase is accompanied by bloodlust, though, brought about by a drop of werewolf blood placed within the fabric. In keeping with werewolf lore, the obi's effects increase during a full lunar cycle up to double effectiveness when both moons are at their fullest.
