Magical Abilities: Like all satyrs she holds a great effect on plants. Playing certain songs will allow her to promote plant growth. Other songs can, put others to sleep, induce fear or place blessings on animals. (Worships the god Pan)

Species Info: Deer Satyrs are a subspecies of satyr. They are often found in forest but can be found in some plains. They are herbivores and have trouble digesting meat but can if vegetation is scarce.

Deer Satyrs are often tall average height for a female is 6 ft and for a male 6'5 ft. They are fairly fast and can run up to 45 MPH do to this they are not known for keeping horses. They are fairly agile and are great climbers.

Male deer satyrs are known to challenge each other by butting their horns together females have much smaller horns and rarely challenge each other.

Most Satyrs worship the god Pan.

Satyrs are known for their music and plant magic and can often be found playing reed pipes. Satyrs although they often have a small group of warriors will not hurt an animal unless it's perceived as a physical threat since they are guardians of the forests and wildlife. They have an affinity with wild animals and are known to give injuries or sick animals a place to rest.

They are very elusive and almost never leave their territory in which they protect.

Personality Much like most of her species she is very timid, kind and has an affinity for animals. She's very fast and adventurous, she's a great climber and an even better archer.
Fauna will never harm any species of deer, horse or goat as they are considered kin to her. She's very naive as she hasn't been outside of her tribe for very long and isn't very knowledgeable in basic things like history and how the world around her works.

Backstory:

Fauna was the first born child of the Birch forest tribe. Her sister Flora was only a few minutes younger than her, but it didn't matter by being born first she became the rightful heir to the current chief.

As they grew up the differences in their personalities became quite evident. Flora was tough, a fighter and wanted only what was best for her kingdom, she always listened to the rules and did what she was told. She joined the tribes warriors and fought off travelers, monsters, rival tribes and kingdoms.

Fauna on the other hand hated her responsibilities, she loved exploring and never did what she was told. One day when she was fourteen she strayed to far from the forest and met her first humans. She saw the wonders of the outside world. She explored the market place and that was where she saw it; a bow, as the heir she wasn't allowed to practice fighting or hunting with human made items, but the bow felt so right in her hands. She traded a necklace of hers for it and soon was off to be an expert archer.

One day her whole life changed. It wasn't out of the ordinary for Flora to fight with her due to the fact she was the heir but this time it was different. She challenged her, a fight to show who deserved the throne. It was tradition and whoever lost would be forced to leave the tribe forever. Fauna declined the challenge and in doing so forfeit her place in the tribe. She was given until sunset to leave, she was given all the supplies she needed and a teary eyed good-bye from the tribe.

Grinning Skull
Most skulls that are unearthed in Revaliir are plain to the eye and dreary, but there are occasionally those that are found to have a perpetual grin. The sockets of these haunting craniums are rumored to be filled with the darkest of shadows, and some graverobbers tell tales of hearing the skulls laugh at them whenever they turned their backs. Each person’s experience is different.

All grinning skulls provide a minor, elemental enchantment of Darkness.
