Appearance and Personality:

A fair complexion, dark black hair, steely gray eyes, and a fastidious disposition. These words summarize the first impression he leaves on those who meet him. The youngest child of Lord Albaret possesses the same distant and noble air as his father, but with a more pronounced rigidity. His meticulous and austere personality distinctly differs from the rest of his siblings, and even his parents. Taciturn and reclusive with a fondness for gallows humor, on the rare occasion where he has words to spare he will directly speak his mind. Not that he lacks tact; he simply believes in being as efficient as possible in bringing his point across. He likes keeping things in order, and dislikes anything which disrupts said order.

He is well versed in advanced alchemy, anatomy, and medicine due to his tutelage under a master apothecary. Efrain can perform advanced medical procedures and follows the ideologies of traditional Karithian medicine such as acupressure and acupuncture. When placed over the face of a dying individual, these Death Masks could induce a state of suspended animation in the wearer until it was determined that they could be saved, or if they were to make their journey back to the Soul Stream.

Resurrection

One of the most powerful, non-epic spells that exist, resurrection allows the caster to bring the dead back to life. Casters can also cast it on themselves for a whole day as a safety precaution and they will be resurrected should they die. However, buyer be warned: anyone who resurrects another will either have to make a sacrifice or find themselves incredibly drained.

Verya's Twig

A petrified wand of the dead, Parvporan World Tree Verya. It allows the caster to speed up their casting time in exchange for some of their endurance temporarily. Meaning that the more you speed cast with this wand, the more tired you will get. However, this wand is a heavy hitter so perhaps try to destroy your enemies before you get tired. The fastest mage is almost always the victor.

Grinning Skull

Most skulls that are unearthed in Revaliir are plain to the eye and dreary, but there are occasionally those that are found to have a perpetual grin. The sockets of these haunting craniums are rumored to be filled with the darkest of shadows, and some graverobbers tell tales of hearing the skulls laugh at them whenever they turned their backs. Each person’s experience is different.

All grinning skulls provide a minor, elemental enchantment of Darkness.

Benitoite

Benitoite is a rare, blue crystal found only in areas of the earth where cold meets hot. It typically forms in serpent like veins that shimmer brilliantly under the right kind of light magic. The most common areas that these crystals have been found are in the Ancense and Zujiuchu Mountains, though some report them being found in Sarchu Valley as well.

Benitoite bestows a minor, elemental enchantment of Earth.

Sylph Wings

Often seen only as shimmering lights in the trees of forests, the sylph are mystical fairies with power over wind magic. Their wings, which give them their radiant appearance, shed at various milestones in their lives, and are of value to alchemists for all manner of wind-based potions.

These wings provide a minor, elemental enchantment of Wind.

A piece of clothing that is usually worn by an artist or chef that keeps their cloths clean while they work.

Angela's Crystal Chalice

A beautiful chalice made from ancient crystal. The stem of this chalice is made out of abalone shell pulled from shells found in the deepest part of the ocean. This chalice can turn any toxin into its antidote but one must have enough toxin to effectively make a good antidote.

Artisan's Flask

A flask made of pure crystal and embedded with gemstones of all different colors and origins. This flask was handcrafted by the goddess herself while she was bored and imbued it with the ability to turn anything put into the flask into a high-level health and mana potion. The potion itself takes on the qualities of Angela's best potions. Limit: Only changes 1 full flask a day. Use wisely. Note: You could be on the brink of death and this potion will rebound you completely. It is toxic when consumed in large amounts which is why there is a limit per day on how much one can consume.

Kintsugi Vase

When a valuable piece of pottery from Ataiyo is broken, it is often repaired with gold or some other precious metal. Sometimes, the repaired pieces are also imbued with magic, keeping plant cuttings and flowers fresh for a month.
An additional enchantment has been put on this vase causing all herbs and flowers to become more potent. The longer the plant sits in the vase the more potent it gets.

Vaeri’s Rune

Vaeri was a famous enchantress from Iria. To help those who were not able to use magic, or liked the idea of storing magic for later use, she created a rune stone capable of holding a single spell. This is also a great tool for magi as it can store magic energy for later use when needed. -Cannot store spells that are of epic level or higher

Anima Ring

This ring allows the user to seal a soul within the sunstone gem. The user can then use the soul to power their magic or their physical strength until the soul becomes destroyed.

Duchess' Concoctions

Cookies and drinks from the Duchess are a pleasant, if not useful gift. Her concoctions make you grow if you eat the cookies or shrink if you drink the juice. The bottles are specially decorated with magical shimmering letters. The words on the cookies are almost alive as if inviting you to try them. Be wary the more you consume the more it affects you.
I’ve lost my taste for children. Strictly a dessert diet for myself now. Go along now. Shoo. You have what you need.

This has the basic functions of a plague mask. The beak has a compartment for herbs and medicine. This enchanted mask will keep minor diseases away from you. The material on this mask also offers minor protection against psionic magic.
Note: Only protects against one psionic spell once per day before it has to recharge.

Keeper's Secret

Allows the caster to immediately rebuke and mirror a spell cast at them from an opposing force. This magical counter immediately releases the mirrored spell and cannot store the spell for later.

Scarab Choker

These scarab shaped ornaments are made from the bodies of the live scarabs that infested the resurrected capital of Aysut. Even in death, they maintain a portion of their master's call, but that call has been bent by the magics of the living. Anyone wearing these chokers can temporarily command the scarab piece to duplicate itself into a small group of illusory scarabs. These scarabs will have eye-shaped hieroglyphics on the back of their shells that the caster can see through, and, so long as the spell remains active, they are completely under said person's control.

Traveling Glass

Appearing as a set of twin mirrors attached by a magical bond, the travelling glass is often used as a method of teleportation that is longer ranged than a teleport spell but usually quieter than the average mage’s gate travel spell. Teleportation using these objects can only occur between them, and these mirrors can appear in any shape or size.

Tempest's Fury

The power of a small lightning storm contained within, these orbs can be found scattered throughout Railoch. To most, they are merely oddities, causing the hair on one’s head to stand up when holding them. To mages, however, they are power sources, capable of enhancing lightning magics.

The Tempest’s Fury provides a minor, elemental enchantment of Lightning.

Warding Talismans

Slips of paper with written incantations used by priests. They emit a holy aura that repels evil. Particularly effective against spectral beings and the undead.

Bottled Shiranui

A willowisp captured in a bottle. When released it emits a phosphorescent glow and can multiply quickly. Unlike most light sources it does not consume fuel or release heat. Max of 10 wisps at a time per thread.

Hellfire Candles

These black candles are ever burning with a bright purple or green flame. They burn with the intensity of Inferos and its eternal torment. Perfect for All Hallows' Eve.

Reverie Snowglobe

A little winter wonderland enclosed in glass, this enchanted curio shrinks a person down before transporting them inside. Within this self-contained world festive songs play ad infinitum perpetuating an atmosphere of holiday cheer.

Jester Mockery

The caster mocks their opponent if they can’t resist they take psionics damage and their response time slows a little bit for a short time.

Lucina's Moonlight Lantern

This lantern was made by the fallen goddess Lucina. She was once considered a saint among the people of Parvpora before the Tree was tainted. She would light the way home for sailors using the moon. She created these lanterns to ward off the evil of her conclave siblings. When the tree became tainted these delicate stained glass lanterns were hidden so she could not destroy them.

Angela Wan Tou

Named after the Goddess of Fertility, Angela Wan Tou roughly translates into Angela's Elbow. The Auzial Academy for the Gifted constructed this potion at the behest of a mysterious stranger who even named the concoction. The reasoning behind this name was the potion seems to behave like an elbow in that it knocks sense into people with unnatural, mental anomalies. Angela Wan Tou cures all spells and potions that effect the mind, and functions as a temporary barrier against these effects. It is the only known cure for Mendean Fu Ye.
