History:
When he was a boy, Bonifaz lived with his father in Vilpamolan City, raised among pirates with questionable intentions. His father was a rough-looking fisherman who took his job very seriously. Although he didn't mind Baz going off on his own to bars and taverns, he was adamant that his son learn to fish so he could earn a living. Baz, however, was more interested in the card games and gambling that went on throughout the city, and he had a knack for playing them. So much so that, once he was in his late teens, he ran from his father in order to pursue a carefree life of leisure.

This dream turned out to be harder than he expected. At first, he was pretty well-off, though he realized he was significantly struggling to pay for lodging and food. He taught himself to hunt with a bow, but the rugged land was not one he was ready to face. At age nineteen, while stumbling through the Arri desert, starving and exhausted, he fell to his knees out of pure defeat. Then, he fainted from hunger. Some time after, the man woke up in a house in Sularia, where he was being taken care of by a kind Rosenite– Alethea Laska. Thea had found him collapsed in the desert and had brought him to the Red District to be healed.

Well, he obviously wanted to thank her, so he decided to stay a while and gain back his strength. Being the charming flirt he was, he ended up having a brief fling with Thea. Or he meant for it to be brief, but then… she ended up pregnant. Baz wasn't sure what to do, but at the fear of upsetting her wealthy family, he reluctantly stayed until the baby was born. His daughter, Philomel, inherited his bright hair and eyes, and she was enough of a reason to stay for a few years. His heart, however, kept yearning for the freedom he once had, and ended up running from his family to pursue his own adventure. He went to visit them a few times, but eventually Thea forbid him from coming back unless he intended on staying. So he didn't go back.
