History:Born in the region of the Zets’Ki Cradle, Evridiki was raised alongside angels, despite some looking down on her family for her mother being human. She disliked leaving her house for anything unnecessary. There, at least, she could be alone and escape her personal belief that she was not as powerful true angels. Though this idea was not entertained by many of the other children, it still rooted in her mind and prevented her from fully trusting anyone outside her family.
Until she met Miyu, a traveller passing through the mountains who sought shelter in her family’s home. By then, Evri had grown into a quiet yet impressionable young woman. With his tales of bravery and adventure, Miyu managed to woo her and frequently returned to visit her family. One night, he convinced her to sneak out of her home to meet with him in secret. However, once she was a few paces away from the house, it erupted into flames and she was in too much shock to see the bandits surrounding her.
Miyu was a scout for the clan, and he’d tricked her into loving him. For weeks Evri was kept in awful conditions, her hair shaved and feathers slowly plucked to sell. Eventually, she was taken and strapped to a table, where the bandits intended to remove her wings entirely. But she had been training, waiting for her moment to strike. With her naturally enhanced strength, she broke out of her bindings and escaped her captors. But she wasn’t finished. The half-angel ravaged the camp, taking what she needed and destroying what she didn’t. When she finished, she trapped a few of the especially ruthless bandits in a tent and set fire to the entire camp, just as Miyu had done to her.
Now, she wanders through Revaliir, tracking down bandits for money and rarely staying in one place for more than a week. Though she helps many, Evri only does so to restore balance, rarely helping out of compassion.
